Mary O'Neill's Irish Pub is a quaint spot with solid service and great food. It was recommended we try the bread appetizer...well worth it. The homemade soda bread served with their homemade butter is really good. We chose the Bangers and Mash along with the Beef and Stout Stew. While both were very good, the Bangers and Mash won the day. We are both lovers of Shepherd's Pie and ordered a child's version with a side of the gravy from the Bangers and Mash. Mary O'Neil's is one of those places I keep coming back to for the atmosphere, the drinks, and a few truly standout dishes. I'm obsessed with the Reuben egg rolls, and the fish and chips are to die for. They also have Magners, which I love and don't see on many menus, so that's always a major bonus. The dark Irish pub feel is cozy and fun, and the live music makes the experience even better. There's also a huge outdoor patio with great vibes, especially when you want to enjoy your meal and drinks outside. It's not necessarily my favorite place to bring my kids, but it's a fantastic spot for a night out with friends. My only real request is for more vegetarian options. My best friend is vegetarian, and there aren't many choices for her right now. Please add some great vegetarian dishes so I can bring her more often! Overall, Mary O'Neil's has delicious pub favorites, a fun atmosphere, live music, a great patio, and Magners. Hit up Mary O'Neill's for a late afternoon lunch and was not disappointed. We decided to try the Shepherd's Pie and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. The Shepherd's Pie was fantastic. It was filled with beef, peas, carrots and onions throughout with an even distribution and the mashed potatoes were pillowy goodness. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap was also very good. Great flavor. The service was a bit slow even for a late afternoon. Expected a bit more there but otherwise a great experience and recommend stopping by for a bite. read more

One of the most consistent restaurants we go to for lunch. Over the years we've only had one issue... they didn't have any Iced Tea one day‍ but we survived The waitstaff are always friendly and never miss a step. I had the WORST Reuben I've ever had here the other day. It was dry and TOUGH. couldn't finish it.

We brought our out of town friends and we all the best time. Food and drinks were fantastic and so was our service. I don't remember our server's name, but she was so helpful and asked questions for us if she didn't know the answer. My husband wanted to purchase a beer glass but the owner graciously gave us 2. Thank you for your attention and caring attitude towards customers. Sadly, we have had some awful experiences, and we are very easy to please. Great pub! Excellent service with authentic menu options. We have had lunch in the dining area as well as dinner at the bar. Both are great. Fish and chips is a favorite and for good reason. The fish is perfectly battered and crispy. Fries are well seasoned. Tartar sauce is tangy and creamy. Malt vinegar is available as well as ketchup. The special seasoning on the burger is very special. The burger was perfectly cooked to medium as ordered and piping hot. Onion rings are surprisingly awesome. My husband didn't offer to share- and he is usually quick to share. I stole one and it was worth the glare I got! Lots of beverage options including a winter cocktail menu. They also do an excellent job on layered drafts. Our favorite is the snakebite - guiness and cider. Smithwicks on draft, also a great choice. Staff is friendly and quick to clear tables and plates. They have an outdoor patio with tons of space. We ordered fried pickles to start and fish and chips for our main. Two really, really good choices. The fish was a great size and perfectly battered and fried. I fell in love with the fries that were perfectly seasoned. Stopped in for a late lunch on a Monday. Hostess sat us immediately (it was quiet as expected) and our server was very nice, attentive and friendly. They have a full bar (w/ Guinness of course) and some microbrews available. The restaurant had some nice Irish music playing and sports channel playing on the bar TV. We sat and were given ice cold water in a vintage milk bottle (loved it). It was blistering hot and humid so it was a nice touch. Shepards pie and Rueben with a side of fries and coleslaw was delivered fast and fresh. The pie was delicious and a perfect proportion. It had beef/lamb in a nice thick sauce with peas and carrot topped with the smoothest perfectly mashed potatoes. The rueben was tender, moist and very large in size. The fries were nothing special. Then again, they were just fries. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp but could have used a bit more seasoning. We order chocolate ice cream for dessert that is sourced from the local creamery and was absolutely delicious. Seriously, I would gladly drive the 15 miles to get that ice cream again. For this Mary O'Neill's this is very good food. I love it. Here service is always very nice and everything just also looks nice in there. I wouldn't tell the difference between the five star restaurant and this Mary O'Neills honestly, this is a good restaurant not fast food, not junk food. This food can be pretty healthy as well so overall only the only reason I give it four stars is every now and again you don't get well service you can tell your food is done, but they just don't bring it to you but overall the service as well. The food is good that the atmosphere of the place as well. Everything's pretty good. read more

The great part about the Pub is the food is always excellent and the atmosphere and service is fantastic. My only issue is everyone I eat there they keep raising their prices. Isebto be $10 for the fish and chips special on Tuesdays! (Highly recommended) And in less then 2 years it's now $13. Along with draft beers that are $8 a pint it's not such a great deal anymore. Are you kidding me they lie to draw you in and I am sure 8 of 10 people stay and eat the other garbage. One thing I can't stand is liers and misleading the public to make money. This is a nice Irish pub style restaurant. During my visit the town had their Halloween event and parking was very bad. Inside there was plenty of room to seat us right away. Rugby was playing on the TV's with a bunch of fans watching. I ordered the bangers and mash which I forgot to take a photo of. Tasted very good though.
