Atmosphere is amazinggg. We had brunch outside on the patio. They had awesome live music. The food was great and came out hot and fresh. Loveee the vibe.

We enjoy going to Harp and Crown. The food is pretty consistent and the service is always on point. It's small and cozy but also has a nice outdoor area. We especially love it when they have special events and live music. Great local spot!

Always a party, great service and awesome food. I love a good England pub, and this is a great one. Their Reuben egg rolls are delicious. But my favorite things is the potato puffs. Omg.

Always a hit! Friendly servers, great comfort food and relaxed atmosphere! Usually dine inside but patio vibes are a hit and always lively! (Inside has a classic pub feel and outside enjoys live music.)

We LOVE this spot. Our favorite local pub with fantastic food & drinks. My boyfriend loves their Guinness, as I believe they have the "surge" machine here. Favorite dishes are the Pub Curry, Shepherds Pie, and Chicken Bites!

I had such a good time at this restaurant and pub. It's a really cool relaxing environment. I was able to sit at the bar outside the bartender was Savanna who was super nice and friendly. There are also a lot of tables outside so if you don't want to sit at the bar. You can definitely get a table. While it is dog friendly, it's not overwhelming. Simple Irish pub food that tastes very fresh. We had the fish and chips, green salad and smash burger with French fries. The menu is typically Irish food and you'll be satisfied with every bite. Bathrooms can be updated a bit but they are clean.

Hidden in a shopping center in Catawba Ave is an Irish pub gem. As you walk to the door you encounter their patio and outdoor bar with tvs - a welcome site on a comfortable evening. Walk inside and you'll enjoy a seat at the bar, a table, or one of several booths. The highlight of the dinner was the Guinness Brisket Mac and Cheese. The beer and cheese mixed well and created a delicious sauce for the meal. My son said the grilled cheese was awesome. I grabbed a few of his fries which soaked up the right amount of oil while maintaining a good level of crispiness. The food was good and the service was attentive. I often associate Irish food with colder evenings and look forward to returning as the cooler weather approaches.

A fun vibe for a weeknight dinner with very affordable entrees & drinks. Food taste was 3/5. The pretzel felt microwaved & lacked flavor. Our entrees were also okay. Service was kind!

This place produces some great comfort food. I love hearty foods with sauces and gravies to add to the comfort level. Both of our selections tonight left us feeling very satisfied. To start the night off I ordered a Scooby Snack from the full bar. It was great and made correctly. It came out promptly. Our server made food recommendations that were spot on. I ordered the Irish meatloaf. It was a fantastic choice. The meatloaf was paired with sautéed vegetables and served on mashed potatoes. The meatloaf is made of pork and beef and is perfectly cooked. It is topped with a braised Sherry cabbage cream sauce. The sauce is amazing. We also ordered a shepherd's pie. It was a huge portion of goodness. Both entrees were excellent. The place is clean. They have a 95.5 sanitation grade. The restrooms were tidy. The dining room was very clean. I love this place.

I haven't eaten anything from this entree, only cut up the giant cabbage wedge that filled the plate.

Atmosphere 5 stars. Service 5 stars. Food/Value 2 stars. Really cute place but for the money it's really not worth it. The corned beef and cabbage entree didn't even contain enough meat for half of a sandwich. ( unsure of a better way to describe) My plate was full... of cabbage. Not worth $18 by any means.

Lots of dark wood, dark green upholstery, and Irish Knick-knacks/advertisements/decor, plus traditional Irish music playing. There is also rooftop seating. I ordered the Lavender Gin Spritz from the seasonal cocktail menu, along with a starter of Bread and Butter (homemade Irish Brown Bread with a selection of freshly made butters) and The Orchard Salad topped with grilled chicken. The salted butter was definitely my favorite with the bread but it was fun to try the sweet maple cinnamon butter and savory fresh herb butter. Our food arrived lightning fast. Unfortunately the kitchen was out of apples, which would have added a nice crunch and tang to the salad, but I just sipped my drink (which was not lavender forward) to get that "bite" instead. Service was friendly and fast.

I tried the buffalo chicken wrap and was not disappointed. It was a nice day out, so we decided to sit out on their patio, which was the best decision. Although the patio isn't huge, it is still setup nicely so that you don't feel like you're sitting on top of others. I definitely plan on returning in the near future to work my way through their menu.

FYI: the parking lot is a nightmare of bumps, pots, holes, gravel and I'm glad I've got this truckster because the other one sits kinda low and would have tore out the floor pans... there's fewer people inside than there are vehicles out front - which is odd but not particularly creepy - and every seat at the bar has a body in it either talking too loudly about, or half listening to, various and assorted abuses of the truth. seems like most of 'em know most of the others but not everyone knows all of 'em, so yeah it's a sampling of the regulars. a longer bar might be nice but would probably mean more regulars already here and still no place for a random visitor... nothing on tap but it's a liquor bar and the tender will mix or pour or un-cap whatever you think you need until you demonstrate that you don't need any more... followed by an attempt to secure safe passage home - or so the story goes. in closing: I'd totally rate Jay's at a single star but the reasoning would be lost on most all y'all.

The food came out faster than expected, but waitress was slow throughout. The table ordered: - Guinness and Jameson - corned beef poutine which seemed unique and my brother liked it. - wings - lots of orders of fish and chips. The tartar sauce was good. The slaw portion was small, but really good. The fish and fries were well cooked and tasty. Compared to Sir Edmond Halleys - I would choose here. The food IMO was better, the restaurant isn't as dark, the prices/portions were better, the parking. Situation/lighting is better and the location is in a walkable downtown type area where you can walk off your calories after you eat. Overall: A hidden gem and I will return.
