Just love this refreshed old place steeped in tradition and memories. The OHB team has done some great stuff to cleaning it up and nailing the bar food category. The staff is all over it and you gotta try that Stout Pie thing. Delicious!

Good food and lots of it! We had Ruben sandwich and turkey Swiss cheese sandwich with chips. Hot sandwiches and chips. Service was good, checked on us a couple of times. Pub decor, unique to our area. A good place for good food and welcoming atmosphere. Went there 20+ plus years ago with my Dad and Husband fond memories. Same place, same good food.

It was extremely cold! The food was great with wonderfully generous portions. Absolutely too cold however to the point of unpleasant.

First of all the service was phenomenal My wife and I split like we normally do and they split it into equal portions on separate dishes and even did it for the salad. My mom had fish and chips and the fish was super juicy and extra crispy on the outside. And everything that everybody got was absolutely delicious. The food truck/vendor festival downtown was absolutely packed and the lines were so crazy we decided we'd rather sit down in a restaurant instead. When we walked in, they cleaned off a table and had us seated right away. We ordered the crab pretzel for an appetizer because it sounded unique and interesting. It was so rich, almost difficult to eat, so we won't be doing that again. We ordered our food and I ordered a cocktail. We actually watched the drink sit on the bar, all the ice melting... for at least 20 minutes before it was brought to our table. It was a watered down version of what could have been good. Our food took over an hour to arrive. We walked in around 1:30, and didn't leave until 2:50. The food arrived at 2:40. We only left because I had somewhere to be at 3, not because we were finished eating... my husband's burger and fries were lukewarm at best, as were my fries. My sandwich was only hot because they had forgotten to make it along with my husband's food, and someone called out for them to make one real quick. Which explains why my husband's food was no longer warm, because we watched it sit there while they made my food. I had time to take a couple bites of my sandwich before we had to try and flag down our waitress for the check and to-go boxes because I no longer had time to eat before my event. This was so, so disappointing and we were really surprised that nothing was comped from our bill. Even a check in from the manager would have been nice, just to acknowledge that this was not the norm? If it had been my first time in, I would never be back.

Great selection of beers, drinks, regular food items and of course Irish food at this fun spot right on Main St. I had an Irish ale turned green that was cold one tasty. They even turned my wife's cider green which was a nice addition to the day's celebration. The scotch eggs were delicious. Hard boiled eggs wrapped in flavorful sausage that are baked and then served chilled. The dressing and dipping sauce went perfectly with the dish. Really a fun spot all around with great service, fun and hip atmosphere whether it's St. Patrick's Day or not. We'll be back!

I was especially disappointed with my Reuben yesterday. Half of my sandwich had only one small piece of meat, and the other half was missing most of the other ingredients and had fatty meat that was difficult to eat. I was so surprised that I even pointed it out to the waitress. The staff has always been great, but unfortunately the kitchen quality does not seem to be what it used to be. We used to recommend this place to so many friends, but unfortunately we no longer feel confident doing so. With so many other great options available, the food no longer feels worth the price. Sadly, we won't be returning.

The place looks like a pub, inside and out, with a huge patio in the rear. All the workers we encountered were really polite and personable. It was very clean inside, even the bathrooms. We pretty much knew what we wanted but enjoyed looking at the menu anyway. Started off with a 20 oz Black & Tan and a 16 oz Harps. So good. My husband had the Fish and Chips. Perfect fry, thick and flaky fish, served with a side of malt vinegar and tartar sauce. The slaw was crisp and savory and the fries crisp. He loved every bite. I had the Bangers and Mash. The sausage was tender with a delicious onion gravy. Some veggies were included (green beans, cauliflower and carrot). The mash itself was creamy and chunky, just the way I love it. Complete comfort food. We ended the meal by splitting a dish of Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was sweet and savoury, with a hint of salt to balance, topped with vanilla ice cream and more toffee sauce. (I haven't had a Sticky Toffee Pudding since I was a child and this was such a delicious treat to share.) The whole experience was exceptional and we cannot wait to go back.

They, very kindly, offered to put us on the list while we were in-route! We arrived and were seated within minutes. Very cool of them to do that! Our waiter was very patient, friendly and explained the specials and menu items in detail. He made the dining a positive experience for sure! Potato bites were good. Whatever the shmear underneath was it could use some more of that! Bangers and mash were meh. Bland mash, overcooked bangers and not enough gravy. I was provided some extra gravy though. Fish and Chips were a big hit! Perfect cook and the batter was light, crisp and stuck to the fish well! Tartar was great. Slaw was on the boring side but unnecessary in the end. Everyone was friendly, a band was playing, the lights were dim, drinks were cold and the fish is good. If you live in the area I highly recommend checking it out!

It was fairly busy, but we walked in without a reservation and were seated indoors right away. We ordered two Guinnesses, the Mussels appetizer (with garlic bread), and split the Fish & Chips plate. Everything was incredible. The cod was perfectly beer-battered, the hand-cut chips were crisp and hearty, and the green peas and tartar sauce rounded it out beautifully. The mussels and garlic bread were also delicious (even ordered a second garlic bread). I would 100% order both dishes again. Our server was also friendly, attentive, and gave honest, helpful recommendations. Prices felt fair for the quality, and the overall experience hit all the right notes. We've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back. A cozy, welcoming spot for comfort food done right.
