I've been told this has been a staple in the breakfast world in and around the area of Concord for many years. Unfortunately when people hype things up they tend to not live up to the expectations. This is NOT one of those times as Breakfastime is amazing. I've been to two of their locations and both are great however I really like the one that is smaller...The portion size is very healthy even for a big eatr like me and on several of the options (such as the "Big K") you can add an extra egg (3) for no additional charge. That particular meal is my go to...sausage links (you can get bacon or sausage patties)...3 eggs...short stack of pancakes (you can sub this for a waffle or French toast)...and two sides (I can't tell you what they are because being a southern boy I look no further than grits and a biscuit). The omelettes are also very good-especially the southern California one with sour cream-pico-jalapenos...and again won't leave you hungry. So if it's so amazing why 4*?! Well...for starters the wait...at times especially after church lets out tends to be 30min-1hr. I guess that's the price of a successful business but as they won't accept reservations it can be a bit precarious coming with children and with limited waiting area. The other reason is at times I've felt rushed...I know the need to have turn around on seating is Crucial especially with aforementioned issue...BUT dont come and ask to take my plate if it's half full...or check 3-4xs if I need anything else after handing me a check...I am never lolly gagging and it takes a bit to round up two children and make sure they've eaten...have everything they came with etc... All in all these are minor issues...and I still highly recommend it! read more

I used to think Cracker Barrel served the best breakfast. NO...not since I ate at Breakfastime. Don't be concerned when you see a parking lot that is completely full or people waiting, cause they move efficiently. I got takeout today for the first time and the service was just as great. This is my favorite breakfast spot when I'm in concord. They're fast, delicious and super friendly. I always get the western omelet which is made just right with an even amount of veggies. I also get the home fries and jalapeños added. Their home fries are to legit die for. They're seasoned to perfection.
