Nothing like a weekend breakfast sandwich from Laurel Market. They are all delicious. Try them all. Even though they are busy, they always knock out your order quickly and accurately.

I found Laurel Market while in Charlotte. I was craving a sandwich and found this place. So glad I did! The food was delicious and they had some other neat items for sale in the store. I ordered the curry tuna sandwich. Very delicious! I definitely will be back.

It's worth the wait in line!! Call ahead if you're in a rush as it can get super busy at lunch.

Fun store and deli. Excellent fresh sandwiches made to order. Small cooler fridge with fresh salads from pesto pasta to curried chicken and tuna salad. Large selection of chips, fair trade chocolate, drinks, wine and beer. They also have soups. We had the #9 on sourdough with Thai chili chips and the pesto pasta.

Fresh reasonably priced sandwiches! This place just feels like a classic corner sandwich shop should, unpretentious, unassuming and simple, yet full of character and delicious food. You will probably have to wait a bit for your order, but it will be worth it! I had the Valium sandwich, which is almost an Italian, but with some fresher tasting greens. The ingredients come together in a splendid fashion, and the hoagie is not too soft and not too hard; just right!

Still my favorite spot for sandwiches in Charlotte! The BLT can't be beat. It's SO tasty and fresh.

This place is the BOMB.COM!!! Every time i'm in Charlotte i love getting breakfast or brunch at Laurel Market because the sandwiches are so fresh and delicious. I normally do lunch or breakfast sandwiches on a croissant and today was no exception. I got the Turkey Avocado and added Truffle hot sauce and it was so delicious. You really can't go wrong with any of their options so definitely stop in if you have the chance. Normally it's pretty busy so be prepared to stand in a tight cramped line but by ordering ahead you can skip the line and pick it up quick and easy.

I'm here from out of town visiting a friend. She suggested we get sandwiches from here. We visited the website, chose our sandwiches and I drove over. I walk in and see a rather disgusting bar stool upside down on the counter and a young gentleman behind the counter drinking coffee. No greeting just drinking his coffee. I motioned toward the deli counter and asked if this is where I order sandwiches. He said they close at 3pm. I said the website didn't mention that. I eventually found a few pre-made sandwiches in a deli case. He never made any conversation, help or assistance whatsoever. I did purchase a side salad amd a bottle of wine. I said it doesn't say anything on your website about deli hours, he said I've never seen the website. Oh my. I was very disappointed with the customer service. Despite my singular experience it looked like a nice shop. Nice wine selection. Sorry I won't visit on my next trio to Charlotte.

I was on a search for Taylor ham and ended up here! Breakfast torta with Taylor ham instead of chorizo is amazing, the laurel market and Mercado are classics as well. Can't go wrong with any of those options! Chipotle spread is spicy so don't get if you can't handle. I have seen people who order in person get their food before me when I placed a call in order 30 mins ago.. so I'll probably just order inside next time. I did have an issue last time I ordered a laurel market which is BEC on ciabatta and it was cold.. other than that I've had solid food from here. Expect a line inside.

Busy little place, always good food. Today I enjoyed the Steven a vegetarian option. It has avocado, lettuce, tomato, honey mustard and ,yellow bell peppers. I substitute the tomatoes for sun dried tomatoes. It is a messy but very tasty sandwich!

I really love the sandwiches here. They're great! The ONLY bad thing about this place that makes me want to 1 star it, is that it gets so busy at lunch, if you don't stand in line and make sure you're not being cut, people get wild and order and stuff. It's kind of a packed store, because it's like a little convenience store. So there's drinks, sandwiches and soups, and chips. Stuff like that. So the environment is a bit chaotic in there, unless you go at a slower time. Sandwiches itself are very very tasty! The girls in the back know what's up, they're pretty quick for the most part... but yeah it just gets busy. They are a solid sandwich spot. Not much place to sit except outside so if it's really cold or rainy and you want to eat, maybe get to go or go somewhere else! Regardless of that, it's a great shop and yummy food! Prices are reasonable I suppose! The girls are good tho, love the sammiessss!

When you first drive up to the market, you see the chairs outside for people to wait for their food and to talk about their day with their friends. Very old fashion market/country store vibe. I went inside and noticed that it was not as big as I thought it was, the kitchen takes up a third of the market. I ordered the egg salad with bacon sandwich and the curry chicken salad. Per the recommendation of the employee, I ordered the egg salad on a croissant. I commend his recommendation. The buttery croissant helped with the egg salad. The egg salad was a little dry but the horseradish and bacon help make it flavorful. The curry chicken salad was delicious, even after saving it for the next day. It still retained its flavor and you could tell that the chicken was moist and the curry did not overpower the chicken salad. The avocado added a creamy texture to the salad and then lettuce added the crunch and freshness to the sandwich. I also enjoyed the variety of coffee available in the morning. There was also a selection of sugar/sugar substitute and creamers that would allow one to enjoy their morning coffee. I recommend coming to Laurel Market to eat and to spend time with friends.

I had recently tried this drink at another Haraz location and loved it so much that I officially considered myself a matcha drinker. When I received my drink, I noticed it looked much pinker than it had at the other locations I'd visited. I assumed it had just been mixed and that the usual layers of matcha, strawberry, and whipped cloud had blended together, so I didn't think much of it. However, after taking my first sip in the car, it immediately tasted like strawberry milk. Since I was on my way to work, I kept drinking it, expecting the matcha flavor to come through, but it never did. It was disappointing because the drink was nothing like the one I've had several times at other Haraz locations. I hope this location places an emphasis on training and consistency so the drinks meet the same standard as the rest of the Haraz locations. On a positive note, the staff members were kind, welcoming, and greeted me as soon as I walked in.

I'm not a coffee drinker, so when I find something I like, I tend to stick with it. On my way to work this morning, I ordered an iced Biscoff latte. After a longer-than-expected wait, I was handed a Biscoff matcha instead. When I pointed out that it wasn't what I ordered, I was told this location doesn't carry the Biscoff latte, so it was assumed I meant the Biscoff cloud matcha. That response was honestly more confusing than the mistake itself. A latte and a matcha are completely different drinks. If an item isn't available, the expectation should be to let the customer know before making it--not to guess what they might want instead. From there, the interaction became frustrating. I explained multiple times that I don't drink matcha and that the Biscoff latte is really the only coffee drink I order. Rather than simply acknowledging the misunderstanding, I felt like I was being encouraged to accept the matcha or choose something else. By that point, I had already made it clear that I didn't want another drink. Honestly, after explaining that several times, I would have much preferred to just receive a refund instead of feeling pressured to settle for something I knew I wasn't going to enjoy. Since I was already running late for work, I eventually agreed to a salted caramel latte just so I could leave. As expected, it wasn't for me, and it ended up going to waste. It was a frustrating experience that ultimately cost me both time and money. I do want to give credit where it's due. The two ladies working were kind, polite, and clearly trying to help. My complaint isn't about their attitude--it was about the lack of communication and the way the situation was handled. A simple, "I'm sorry, we don't carry that drink at this location. Would you like to try something else?" would have prevented the entire experience. Additionally, if they can make a salted caramel latte I don't understand why they couldn't make a biscoff latte. I've always had positive experiences at the other locations, so this visit was especially disappointing. I hope the staff receives a little more training on communicating menu differences and confirming substitutions before preparing an order. I'd like to give this location another chance eventually because I've had such good experiences elsewhere, but after this visit, it probably won't be anytime soon.
