YUM! We got white bread for both of these sandwiches by far the best bread I've had on a sandwich, mom and pop restaurant, friendly staff. Honestly a great way to start your afternoon, with these sandwiches.

Fresh, made to order sandwiches always. This means that order takes a little longer to make but I don't mind waiting when the food is that good. The staff was fantastic and helped talk through menu options. There are no dairy free options which isn't a dealbreaker but did leave me without full menu selection. The bread was nice with a slight crunch and chewy texture and the hot sandwich was amazing. I'll be making my way through the full menu over the next visits.

I got a 12" on sourdough, so it is a double decker instead of an actual 12". That said there is definitely an equivalent amount of food. I can barely fit this thing in my mouth. The staff have been nothing but polite and helpful, and the location is comfortable with both indoor and outdoor seating. There is a ramp but wheelchairs may struggle to fit through the door.

Italian 6 inch. Added banana peppers, onion and spicy mayo (light). Delicious!

Never visited their OG location so had to check out their new spot since so many people have talked about it. I agree- the raving about it is accurate. Good ol italian sandwich for under $10. Can't beat it. Tasty, quick and good food. Highly recommend.

My go to lunch place when I go to Charlotte. Always fresh hand made sandwiches. Great service too.

It's right on the way to my yoga studio, so it's perfect for a quick in-and-out lunch, but honestly, it's also the kind of place where you end up lingering longer than planned. My usual order is the ABLT on rye with Boar's Head applewood smoked bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Simple, fresh, and consistently delicious every single time. I almost always pair it with the Spinach Bacon salad loaded with spinach, cranberries, goat cheese, tomatoes, toasted pecans, and brown sugar peppered bacon. The portions are huge and definitely shareable. What makes Rhino special is that it's more than just a deli. It's part neighborhood market, part coffee shop, part beer and wine stop, and part community hangout. They've got local products, grab-and-go snacks, fresh sandwiches, beer on tap, wine, outdoor patio seating, and sometimes even live music. It reminds me of the small independent spots I used to love in the Bay Area around Burlingame, San Mateo, and Palo Alto. Relaxed, local, welcoming, and full of personality. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere feels genuinely Charlotte. Not overly polished. Not trying too hard. Just good food, good people, and a place that locals clearly love. And if you are visiting North Carolina, you absolutely have to try Cheerwine at least once. It's basically a Carolina rite of passage. Cherry soda lovers will probably be obsessed. Me personally? Not exactly my flavor profile, but people here drink it like water, so clearly they are onto something. Rhino Market is one of those places that makes a city feel like home. Life is too short to not eat well, Charlotte. Get out there.

Bread, meat and cheese were all excellent but all together it was just meh. I should have picked something else for sure. The broccoli rotini salad was uh-mazing! I'd come back just for that! I was happy to see that the sandwiches are reasonably priced for the area which tends to be super overpriced! But then I added a side and a drink and we were over $20 again. Ugh...expensive but right in line with the other places in the area. I will 100% be back!

Well, look no further as Rhino Market will give you plenty of options to start the day off right. We stopped here around lunchtime on a Saturday to grab some breakfast food. As it was already later in the day, I ended up opting for a lunch sandwich instead. The window to order is placed towards the rear of the store. The menu has plenty of breakfast and lunch options. After ordered, you go back to the front counter to pay. It's pretty tough not to grab a snack or two on your way to checkout. They also have some fresh brewed coffee which I tried, and it got me fired up for the morning. I ordered the Chicken Torta and it came out after about 5 minutes. The sandwich was presented perfectly, a beautiful picture of green balanced with some fresh deli meat. First bite, and I instantly fell in love with my lunch sandwich. You won't go wrong with a chicken torta, or any torta for that matter. There's plenty of seating in the deli, at the bar, outside in the common area, or outside in the yard. All spots you may choose to eat have wonderful vibes, especially in you sit inside the restaurant since they had a musician playing live music. All in all, I'm very glad I tried out this place as I can see it entering my rotation of quick eats around the city.
