I actually found this spot via yelp and unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. The reviews all said the food was cheap, but I did not find that to be the case. I ordered the croissant French toast with strawberries and although it was yummy, it came absolutely SOAKED in syrup. It was almost inedible. The bread was falling apart because it was so saturated with syrup. I've actually never ordered French toast anywhere before and have it served with the syrup already on the toast. I didn't see it described that way on the menu either. I wish that had been clearly indicated on the menu so that I could order the syrup on the side. I was also disappointed in the lack of strawberries. I hate to leave such a bad review because the staff was very friendly but the food was just not on par. I was very disappointed after reading such great reviews on yelp. I will not be returning to Breakfastime.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Place was packed, had a 20-ish minute wait. Service was good, quick & friendly. Our server, Cheyenne, even checked in on me regarding the temperature where we were sitting and had it slightly adjusted to be more comfortable- y'all know how it can be in the fall! Anyway, I had the BigK special with banana nut pancakes, home fries & grits. My friend had the big healthy omelette with grits & wheat toast. Menu is massive with plenty of selections. We would definitely return to this spot!

I see why this small chain has such a hype. I never liked IHOP but can see how BTime is the OG. Their value is way better than the larger chain because you can tell the ingredients are simpler and more whole. Love the counter sitting and take out options as well

Cute little place to go for breakfast, sandwiches, salads, etc. They have a little bit of everything. Service is always great. Very quick to get food back to your table. My Avacdo BLT hit the spot. Everything was fresh and delicious. I obviously did not eat all that is pictured as I came here with others but as you can see everything was presented very nice. They also loved their food. Will totally be back to visit again.

My friends and I were in the area and I'm so glad I found this spot on Yelp. It was delicious and exactly the type of breakfast we were looking for. We went in on a Sunday morning and did have a bit of a wait. Once seated though the service was quick and the food came out fast as well. I went with the corn beef hash and it did not disappoint. So interesting how they offer you a free bonus third egg if you want with your meal. My friends got waffles and pancakes along with their egg dishes and were super impressed as well. Overall a wonderful spot to stop in for a traditional style American breakfast.

This was a nice spot to visit. The service was great and the food was delicious! I got the croissant french toast with bananas, pecans, and chocolate chips and it was SO good! Highly recommend! I also got a side of hashbrowns and grits. The hashbrowns were good and the grits were okay. My friend got a short stack of pancakes with fruit and a side of home fries which she enjoyed. Another friend who was with us had a waffle and she was not the biggest fan as she said it was harder than she would have liked. It may have just been an off day, but she expressed she would have preferred the pancake or French toast. Overall, I would return, the wait wasn't too bad and the food was decently priced! I would not suggest this for parties larger than 5-6 though and just a note: you can put your name down once you get there, but they will not seat you until your whole party is there so just be prepared for that.

Went for lunch. Service couldn't be nicer! Very attentive and friendly. Ambience was fun decorations of roosters, coffee, sunshine, etc. Food was really good! Very much enjoyed the Fried chicken with sausage gravy and cornbread side! My wife loved her salad with strawberries, pecans, etc. Prices are very reasonable. This is our breakfast go to

I've left a review for Breakfastime's Copperfield location before but we usually go to this one. It's in an old Bojangles restaurant so it's definitely smaller than the one on Copperfield but they will certainly try and accommodate large groups if need be. The staff is always friendly and you don't usually see a turnover so you can get to know the servers. Food is always a 10/10. It's fresh and comes exactly how you order it. Cannot say enough positive things!!! And you know I also like to rate a place based on their tea. Whether you drink it sweet, 1/2&1/2 or unsweet it's perfect! So right there tells you it's a place you need to visit!!

Nice gem of a restaurant in concord. I'll be honest the exterior look kept me away from dining here. However once you get inside it's a refurbished Bojangles that was quite pleasant. Food was very good and very nice staff. Definitely my new go to spot for breakfast. read more

I had the chicken tenders and waffle. It was 6 perfectly cooked freshly fried chicken tenders on top of a thick and fluffy waffle with a little bit of powdered sugar on top and syrup on the side. This restaurant is super clean. The building used to be a fast food joint a few years ago and aside from the very unique window in the dining area you can't really tell. They've really made the space their own with chicken art and a modern country flare. The only complaint I have is the ladies room needs the lights replaced. 3 out of 4 of the fluorescent tubes are either out or flickering. I will warn, there is usually a wait on the weekends but it is worth it. read more

I love this place! I go to the one on Copperfield Blvd. in Concord. Biggest portions at more than reasonable prices. Started my visits with the breakfast, which can't be beat. Then, ventured into the burgers and subs. Salad? Who eats salad? The salads at Breakfastime are huge and worth every cent! Staff learn your name and address you as such when they see you upon arrival. How can you beat all that? Any of that? You can't. read more

I used to love eating here. I ate here every weekend and got take out 1-3 times a week. Today definitely changed that. Can't say I'll be back until they get this resolved. When this came to the table I quietly let staff know as to not draw attention from other tables. She immediately took the plate back to the kitchen. When she returned she apologized and said that they were going to cover the check. But, the manager never made an appearance. I was not super impressed. FOOD: The food looked better then it taste. Everything was really bland. I had the veggie omelet with hash brown, toast and a side of okra (see the photo). The food here is really good. There's not much of a wait time the days I've gone for lunch but I've heard it can get packed. They're open from 6am-3pm so If you're looking to eat here come early. All the severs have been nice so far and the food comes out pretty fast. I've been here a few times but each was a good experience! read more

First of all... can I just start with.. our food was under $20 altogether and it was sooooo good. it reminded me of a Waffle House/denny's you know.. the feeling of being in a diner near home. The staff was extremely friendly and our food came out very quickly. I enjoyed every bit of it. I opted for the Breakfast Special #2 with a coffee. while the fiancé got the Healthy Veggie Omelet with a side of fruit and orange juice. the food tasted just like my grandma made it at home. it was a packed house but nothing stopped our waiter from checking in every few minutes to fill up our cups or check to see if we need anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit for sure! if you are ever in North Carolina or are passing through (like we were) head to Breakfastime. Stopped in on a busy Saturday morning with a table of 7. Waited about 45 minutes, passed the time reading the menu so we were ready when we sat down. Table and counter service was available. Our server though new did a great job and was very attentive. We had omelletes, hashbrowns, eggs benedict, choc chip pancakes and waffles. Everything was hot, delicious and plentiful. After my first visit to Breakfastime after much anticipation, I was happy to enjoy my Turkey-bacon egg and cheese biscuit. My wife ordered croissant French toast and regrettably it was a tad on the soggy-side. Our second visit, a few days later was everything we expected. I ordered the same and as the first time was happy to enjoy my biscuit sandwich. My wife ordered a Sausage egg and cheese biscuit and unfortunately there was a lot of fat ( gristel ) in the meat. Breakfastime gets 3-Stars for the friendly service and great food. I wouldn't recommend anything other than Turkey bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I will try more on the menu, pending review.... read more

I have no problem with the restaurant I have stopped by multiple times my review is in the drive through. In the morning the thick blond that was running the window has a bad attitude. I am patient and didn't think anything of it but every time I go through the drive through she is at the window same attitude. It's not because of staffing shortages etc just a poor attitude always acts if you ask something it's an inconvenience. Got news for you if you don't like your job then quit or leave your poor attitude at home. The excuse of labor shortage or covid etc is getting old time for self accountability read more

It was mine and my husband's first time here today. Our server was Brian and he was excellent! Drinks never ran out, and he was very friendly. Sooo.... This experience started off a bit sour. We waited about 20-25 mins to get seated (on a Sunday morning) which was to be expected. Once seated and for our orders taken it took close to 30 mins to get food! I know it was busy but when you see other people who say after you get their food everything becomes questionable. Once we got food it was delicious and prices were all affordable so no complaints there. I wish our waitress would have took more notice to how long our orders took to come out to receive some type of ramification in apologies to our wait time but the food made up for it I suppose. I would go back just to give it another try. read more

Let's start with the bread. Very fresh with quality butter--that's a good combo. The salad was also delicious. I think I made a mistake by mixing my salad with crispy chicken (grilled chicken next time) but I made the correct decision with Thousand Island dressing. Now that I think about it, are there ever exactly 1,000 islands of relish mixed with the mayo and ketchup? I assume it would be way lower. Maybe it should have been called 325 Island. For the salad, I got lettuce, tomato, cucumber, fresh red pepper, and red grapes. It was a quality and refreshing meal. And while the price is a little high for salad, the service was excellent. Ambiance is mediocre. Definitely recommended.
