I had the chicken tenders and waffle. It was 6 perfectly cooked freshly fried chicken tenders on top of a thick and fluffy waffle with a little bit of powdered sugar on top and syrup on the side. This restaurant is super clean. The building used to be a fast food joint a few years ago and aside from the very unique window in the dining area you can't really tell. They've really made the space their own with chicken art and a modern country flare. The only complaint I have is the ladies room needs the lights replaced. 3 out of 4 of the fluorescent tubes are either out or flickering. Nice gem of a restaurant in concord. I'll be honest the exterior look kept me away from dining here. However once you get inside it's a refurbished Bojangles that was quite pleasant. Food was very good and very nice staff. Definitely my new go to spot for breakfast. read more

I used to love eating here. I ate here every weekend and got take out 1-3 times a week. Today definitely changed that. Can't say I'll be back until they get this resolved. When this came to the table I quietly let staff know as to not draw attention from other tables. She immediately took the plate back to the kitchen. When she returned she apologized and said that they were going to cover the check. But, the manager never made an appearance. I was not super impressed. FOOD: The food looked better then it taste. Everything was really bland. I had the veggie omelet with hash brown, toast and a side of okra (see the photo). I love this place! I go to the one on Copperfield Blvd. in Concord. Biggest portions at more than reasonable prices. Started my visits with the breakfast, which can't be beat. Then, ventured into the burgers and subs. Salad? Who eats salad? The salads at Breakfastime are huge and worth every cent! First of all... can I just start with.. our food was under $20 altogether and it was sooooo good. it reminded me of a Waffle House/denny's you know.. the feeling of being in a diner near home. I opted for the Breakfast Special #2 with a coffee. while the fiancé got the Healthy Veggie Omelet with a side of fruit and orange juice. the food tasted just like my grandma made it at home. it was a packed house but nothing stopped our waiter from checking in every few minutes to fill up our cups or check to see if we need anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit for sure! if you are ever in North Carolina or are passing through (like we were) head to Breakfastime. The food here is really good. There's not much of a wait time the days I've gone for lunch but I've heard it can get packed. They're open from 6am-3pm so If you're looking to eat here come early. Stopped in on a busy Saturday morning with a table of 7. Waited about 45 minutes, passed the time reading the menu so we were ready when we sat down. Table and counter service was available. Our server though new did a great job and was very attentive. We had omelletes, hashbrowns, eggs benedict, choc chip pancakes and waffles. Everything was hot, delicious and plentiful. After my first visit to Breakfastime after much anticipation, I was happy to enjoy my Turkey-bacon egg and cheese biscuit. My wife ordered croissant French toast and regrettably it was a tad on the soggy-side. Our second visit, a few days later was everything we expected. I ordered the same and as the first time was happy to enjoy my biscuit sandwich. My wife ordered a Sausage egg and cheese biscuit and unfortunately there was a lot of fat ( gristel ) in the meat. Breakfastime gets 3-Stars for the friendly service and great food. I wouldn't recommend anything other than Turkey bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I have no problem with the restaurant I have stopped by multiple times my review is in the drive through. In the morning the thick blond that was running the window has a bad attitude. I am patient and didn't think anything of it but every time I go through the drive through she is at the window same attitude. It's not because of staffing shortages etc just a poor attitude always acts if you ask something it's an inconvenience. Got news for you if you don't like your job then quit or leave your poor attitude at home. The excuse of labor shortage or covid etc is getting old time for self accountability read more

Sooo.... This experience started off a bit sour. We waited about 20-25 mins to get seated (on a Sunday morning) which was to be expected. Once seated and for our orders taken it took close to 30 mins to get food! I know it was busy but when you see other people who say after you get their food everything becomes questionable. Once we got food it was delicious and prices were all affordable so no complaints there. I wish our waitress would have took more notice to how long our orders took to come out to receive some type of ramification in apologies to our wait time but the food made up for it I suppose.
