This place has really gone downhill. I was hoping after I complained to management last time they would walk back some of their awful changes. Went back today to get my free bowl and sadly it was even worse. Old dry brown rice, no more mixed grains. Chicken was dry too. No more chopping of larger ingredients so left with avocado and whole tortilla chips and no knives available. No more cucumber spa water. Overall food quality was horrible and no bread offered either. It's noon and no one here, used to be long lines. Hope they go out of business if they are this uncaring of their customers and quality. read more

It is so clean in there ! I love all the options and the fact that they chop and mix the salad for you. It is a little expensive, my salad, chips and drink was about $18, but it was very good. I'll def go back for a good crisp salad. read more

I've gotten takeout from here three times. They have a nice variety of lettuces and ingredients. I like that you can stick to most diets given the variety of ingredients as well. I get fresh squeezed lemon or lime and olive oil for dressing at no extra cost. I also like to get roasted vegetables in my salad. They use a handheld tool to cut through all the ingredients to get them into tiny pieces so you can get a mix of everything into one bite. Worth trying. read more

I mean. It was REALLY great when it first opened but this particular location has been hit or miss. We frequently went here during the pandemic and recently we had a door dash pick up order. They get my order a lot and this order was surprisingly correct. I've come in person and have seen the Mac and cheese look old and like a science experiment and then also seen it look decent enough to eat. Staff is friendly but some look like they really don't want to be there. Decent for when needing a quick healthy option...I would just recommend going in person to ensure the order is correct. read more

Great salads. Salmon was very good. Panko chicken was good, but definitely needed more than one dressing, so don't be bashful about asking for more. Nice, quick, accurate ordering. read more

This is not at all like the picture. The steak is soggy and pink. Gross. I thought it would be fresh but it's definitely just soggy meat they throw in there read more

Not likely. The ordering process is done by computer only, which are just steps inside the door. No discernible line, just a huge ottoman in the way. I can't even understand the reasoning behind it being there. It must be chaos at lunchtime. A small selection of small theme salads starting around $14 with add ons $1.50++, a couple of sandwich options around the same price point, a couple of bowl options with fish/rice/cauliflower, and a make your own salad option. The computer has a soup tab but none were available when I tried to order. Canned drinks, $2.50 and other options over $4. From the size salad I saw at the tables, this is not a price point I'm willing to pay. read more

I love going to Chopt. Portions are so filling and the taste is delicious every time. The ability to customize anything is great when building your favorite salad. I recommend Chopt to anyone who has one in their area! Taste is so fresh and their is a wide variety of lettuce, dressings, and toppings to build whatever you are craving that day! read more

Excellent service every time I visit this location. Always do an online order, and my order is always ready when I arrive. Tried their Mediterranean warm bowl this time, and it was delicious. Ingredients always taste fresh and never have anything bad here. Will keep coming. read more

We ordered two Southwestern steak salads for $39, which were advertised as having 32 grams of protein each. That claim was nowhere close to reality. Each salad had maybe two bites of steak on top of a bowl of limp, chopped lettuce. If you're looking for protein, you'll be disappointed--this was basically overpriced lettuce with a misleading label. If you're into paying premium prices for glorified rabbit food, this might be your spot, but otherwise, not worth it. read more

We def got to get one of these in Orland Park. Chopt Creative Salad is just like a Subway or a Chipotle ... but for salads. When you enter you can purchase one of their pre-made salads and add anything you want, or get in line and pass along the food cases and build yourself a salad from scratch. Besides a number of leafy green offerings for the base of your salad (for example, lettuce, spinach, kale, or a blend of those, etc.), you then have choices of all the usual toppings and some meats you might want ... like chicken. What stands out here is the variety of fresh ... everything is very fresh. Is it a bit pricey ... yes, but worth it for the freshness of the ingredients. At the end of the line, you choose your dressing and they toss your salad and chop it as fine as you want. They also offer drinks, snacks, and to-go bottles of the maybe 18 different dressings. Located in the Park Road Shopping Mall in Charlotte's Montford neighborhood ... a two block long strip mall with maybe two dozen retail outlets ... this Chopt franchise is handy and can get really busy. Luckily they are on the rim of a huge parking lot ... making it much easier to duck in and duck out. They do mainly takeout, but you can also get delivery. I prefer takeout because I see exactly what's going into my salad, and can tailor it anyway I like ... more of this and less of that. They also have soups, and can pretty much make any salad into a wrap. Recommended. read more

Customer service is great! Elizabeth is awesome! She goes above and beyond roughly thirty minutes prior to closing!

Eating healthy can be hard, so it is nice to see fast casual type places focused on providing quality healthy foods popping up. Chopt is one such place, focusing around salads and wraps with a chipotle style build your own option. I have eaten at a couple locations, and have always thought the food was decent but a little over priced. While it's true that eating out is getting more expensive in general, salad focused restaurants seem to take it to another level. I recently came into the Park Road Shopping center location. Two salads and 1 drink later and I'm out $35.00. I enjoyed my salad don't get me wrong but $15.00 per salad is what you would expect from a high end restaurants. Granted these salads are larger and ment to serve as a meal, but it still seems hard to justify. While I admire their business model, and will certainly stop by every now and then if I'm feeling health conscious, I don't know if the value is there for me to become a regular. That being said if you are looking for a hearty salad made just the way you like it, Chopt has what you are looking for! read more

I have tried Chopt multiple times, only because I received a gift certificate. I tried different salads, numerous grain bowls and found every one bland. There wasn't enough salt and pepper to help it. The dressings are especially tasteless. Literally. I can't taste it on the salad. Go elsewhere. Yafo. Mezeh. Anywhere but here. read more

I really love the flavors of chopt! You could either make your own, or pick one of their tasty salad concoctions. Very friendly and efficient service! I had their Chicken tinga warm bowl. You get a choice of either cauliflower rice or multigrain with your bowl and I opted for the multigrain! Very tasty and filling! Omgosh, so good after a workout. I love that they have such fresh ingredients! I'll definitely be back to try more of their warm bowls and signature salads! Such a nice place to have a healthy lunch. read more

So yummyyyy and filling I loved it!!! Worth it, the place is big and clean too!! Definitely good

Crispy chicken was flavorless and mushy ruined the salad. Doesn't look anything like the photos online. Would not recommend crispy chicken might as well get grilled if you're getting cold and mushy read more

It's really hard to come here and order anything but the braised chicken tinga salad or warm grain bowl. It just has the perfect flavor profile, especially when you stick with the green goddess dressing. As hard as it is, I've forced myself to try other things and I haven't gone wrong with any of them. I love that they do the destination salads, because they're so unique and tasty. Let's just say I work on top of a salad place and I will walk the extra half mile to get Chopt at their Uptown location. No shame in my game! read more

Very accommodating and friendly service every time I visit. I've visited locations in other surrounding cities as well and no complaints

Had the kale salad. It was a fairly large salad for the price. Pretty pleased with the amount of toppings and the additional bread option you get. All ingredients seemed very fresh and staff were fast and getting the line down. Nice and clean with plenty of seating. Must try for that salad lover. read more

This was a great place to stop for lunch while you are out shopping at the park road shopping center. They had a lot of choices with mainly salads and a few bowls. Everything seemed very fresh and was made to order. They had an assembly line where they add items to your bowl, then at the end they chop it up for as long as you want to get everything mixed and chopped. I like that at the end they would ask you about the salad dressing and you could choose none, light, medium, or heavy. I thought the medium was a good amount and would choose that again. In my opinion I think anything lighter would not be enough dressing. There is also an optional free piece of bread with each meal, so although trying to be healthy, I of course went with free and got the bread. The salad was a very good size serving. With how the bowl is it is larger at the top and gets narrower as you go down, so after eating and eating it seemed like I didn't even make a dent in the salad, but the further you go the faster the salad goes. I am a little bit of a picky eater, and was not sure how to customize my salad, so choose a salad with only ingredients I like, but in the future I would like to customize my salad when I go. Overall good price for the salad and a quick healthy option! read more

Food and the service was great!!! The ambiance was also fantastic, definitely recommend Luciano as a chopper.

A fried took me here and I had the crispy salad that she recommended and it was very fresh and delicious!

Tried Chopt for the first time as a light healthy lunch. I split one bowl with my husband and we decided to try the crab-apple harvest bowl. It was very tasty and fresh. I will say, for the price, the bowl seemed very small. Also the bread that came with it was very stale. I would go back but I don't know that it is something I'd crave. read more

The energy and atmosphere of this establishment was amazing the food was great and the employees were very kind.

This was my first time and I tried a create your own salad with the Norwegian salmon. The salmon had a strong fishy taste, like it wasn't super fresh. I also don't like their setup for sanitation reasons. The person who made my salad assembled ingredients, the rang up my order on a touch screen, and then without changing her gloves, proceeded to the next station where they chopped the salad ingredients. Then they picked up a piece of bread with the same gloves that touched the screen and handed it to me without using any sort of paper or even putting it in a bag. Kind of gross. Also, the salad maker forgot to add my salmon and I ended up having them give it to me separately. I won't be returning. read more

Chopt is a wonderful option for a fresh salad!!! I hadn't been since way before the pandemic so I was curious to see how they'd adjusted. This particular location had a lot of indoor seating. Upon my arrival I noticed they had completely closed off in door dining. Which I completely understood and respected! They had a few outdoor tables available at first come, first served and we were lucky enough to snag a table!!! It was a beautiful day out and our salads were super fresh and delicious! I created my own salad with kale, spinach, chicken, chickpeas, olives, tomatoes, goat cheese, pumpkin seeds and fresh squeezed lemon and lime juice for dressing. Mmmmm! The staff were all masked and gloved up and very friendly! It was nice to feel so safe in an establishment. Great job Chopt! Will definitely be back soon! read more

Well no be coming back my 1st and last time here didn't feel welcome at all and was out of wraps

2 stars because their online ordering is a joke!! Every single time I place an order ahead of time, it's because that is the time I need the food! For ex. I have a 12pm lunch break, so I always order ahead to avoid lines as I only have 30 minutes. Well, EVERY SINGLE TIME I get a text my food is ready at 11:15, 11:20, etc. Like what is the point of ordering ahead?! Today I placed for a pick up time of 12 and got a text at 11:30 that my salad is ready. Now, I will have to eat a soggy salad. DONT GIVE THE OPTION TO PICK UP AT A CERTAIN TIME IF YOU CANT MAKE THAT HAPPEN!!!! read more

Several times at the chopt salad park road nc location for takeout have I been skimped on portions. I have even contacted you guys to deal with this and once again here we go... TWO salads halfway full for $24!! This Is not acceptable. If I'm paying $24 for lettuce.... I need to be given the "chopt portion" filled to the top of the bowl. If not, there needs to be half prices for half filled bowls. This is once again unacceptable and a waste of my money! *chopt support made it right and they will be contacting the store management. This is a store issue not a corporate* thanks chopt! read more

My go to place when I'm in the mood for a quick salad. The salads are always good and ingredients always fresh.

I placed an order here about 20 minutes before closing (they close at 4 pm on Sundays apparently lol). Anyway, I was a little nervous about placing my order right before closing because I thought the quality of the food might not be as good as usual. Welp, I was pleasantly surprised! First of all, my order was ready in less than 15 minutes. My salad was fresh and delicious! Nothing from my order was missing. Chop't continues to show me why they are one of favorite restaurants. FYI: They are currently offering pick-up only. You have to order online or via the app. Only outdoor seating is available. read more

Who knew salad could be so good? Chopt has so many varieties of salad, wraps and soups that I feel like I can never try it all. And to top it off they always have a flavor of the month menu for bonus deliciousness. They make the salads right in front of you to your liking and the staff is normally friendly and thorough. I know it costs a bit more than a salad from a place that doesn't specialize in salads but it's worth every penny. These salads are actually filling. They offer a variety of dressings as well. Even when there's a line Chopt is typically a pretty short wait. The drinks selections are all healthy and refreshing as well. I thought I wouldn't like Chopt but this comedian J-L Cauvin used to talk about it on his podcast all the time and it made me give them a shot. Podcasts are a great way to learn about stuff. I listen to them all the time and not just all the big named ones. Spread out and try somethings from people who live a different experience than you. You never know what you'll learn! read more
