Nazo was really good! It reminded me a bit of CAVA with the fresh, customizable feel. The chicken was well-seasoned, and the rice bowl had great flavor overall. The price was around $12 per bowl, which felt reasonable for the portion and quality. The cashier was very sweet and polite, even while working by herself. I believe Mediterranean dishes are becoming my second fav! Cravings attack and in the area, so I ordered the spicy chicken bowl online, which came with a side and a salad. I also added spicy chickpeas. The restaurant is located in a plaza near Wal Mart. Parking wasn't the best. I had to drive around twice in order to find a closer parking space to the restaurant. The restaurant was very clean and I was greeted by the cashier who was very warm and welcoming! I ordered a can of zero sugar Dr. Pepper while I was there. I wasn't too fond that the can cost $2.19, but it was crisp! The cashier gave me a cup to fill with ice for the drink. The food was delicious and not over priced! We were in town for a concert and wanted a casual place somewhat near our hotel -- even though it was a few minutes' drive away. Stopped in mid-afternoon on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. I think there was only one employee there as well. My wife and I ordered two bowls (spicy chicken and lamb kofta) and both were filling. The chicken had a good heat to it, which I appreciated. Another customer came in and got takeout. Our one sour note was there were a bunch of fruit flies around the drink machine for some reason -- that was odd. Placed an online order. I check the link after 20mins and it shows my order was "closed", apparently the driver didn't show up. I only found this out when I checked the tracking link. No text msg or call from the restaurant to inform the customer. The ordering system noted to call the restaurant, also says there's a 24/7 customer resolution, however provides no add'l information. Firstly, the advertised number does not work. And secondly, the owner knows this. After searching for other numbers I found his and called him. He said he'd call me back after 5 mins after he wanted to check with the store manager. He didn't call back. So I reached back out asking for a refund. He said he would Zelle the refund same day but he never did. Customer complaints are piling up. Do better. Probably won't order there again after being a loyal customer for months. read more

Always wanted to try Mediterranean food and was pleased with my selections. The owner was gracious as I snapped pics while waiting for my order.I had the Turkish Mix Bowl with Spicy Chicken and Lamb. Very interesting take on the make to order restaurants like Chipotle and Subway. This is a small Mediterranean style restaurant where you basically go down the line to create your own bowl. I went with lamb koftka with lentils and yellow rice. The food is delicious and if you dine in you will get a free cup of tea. read more

I am not the type of person to write a review like this but please do not visit this PINEVILLE location. I should have left after seeing the 92 sanitation score. The place was completely empty and it was not clean inside. (Streaky windows, tables sticky, etc) The worker was just sitting in the back on his phone when he could've been taking care of things. They were missing at least 5 things from the menu, sauce, and their drink machine was not working. When we asked to get a drink from the fridge that also was not working so the drink was not going to be cold. I'm sorry but that is a sorry excuse for a restaurant at that point take the day off until you can get your ducks in a row. Will be requesting a refund through my bank. To make matters worse their lamb was rotten per a previous google review that stated the worker also noticed. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! read more

I spotted this place while driving through the parking lot. As I was getting out of my vehicle, a young gentleman who worked there approached his vehicle next to mine. I asked him if the food there was good. He told me the food was good and that I should stop in and that he'd give me a sample. I went in and noticed it wasn't a large place, but it was clean. He gave me a sample of the lamb, chicken, chickpeas, humus, rice, sauce, etc. I must admit, I've never had lamb so tender in my life. I cannot speak more highly of the staff or the food. If you love cava, you will LOVE Nazo's. The lamb was phenomenal. My boyfriend and I both "built our own bowls". You have to try the lemon tahini, garlic sauce, and lentils (we preferred them to the chickpeas but both were wonderful). Pretty darn good and great value. Listen this places isn't exactly quite as good as Yafo. But Nazo is 10 bucks vs 16 at other places (for a giant bowl). The chicken in my bowl was excellent. The pickled cabbage was great. The rest of the topping were solid and generous. There aren't a ton of different options for bolw topping (vs a Yafo for instance) but what they had was good. The service was good and courteous. The inside was very nice. Nicer than it needed to be honestly. Overall this is a place I would recommend for a quick tasty value packed bowl. read more

We had not eaten here before, but the reviews looked good so off we went. Worth the drive from Fort Mill to Pineville. The lamb is melt in your mouth with a tiny kick to it, but with the rice and all the fresh veggies it's a perfect combination. We took our dinners as a carry out and they "traveled well/stayed warm).
