You are paying for QUALITY meat and ingredients unlike other places. You can taste how good quality the meat is and cooked to perfection with such a nice flavor. I always have to stop in when I'm passing through Charlotte!

The food was pretty good. Service was very prompt and they even waited until we had finished eating to bring out our dessert. A nice mediterranean spot tucked away

Good for takeout Mediterranean dishes -- I had the kafta kabab plate, with rice and tabbouleh (normally it would come with salad). The kafta was delicious, the tabbouleh was fragrant and tasty - sadly, the rice wasn't warm. This is a tiny restaurant in a mini-mall on a busy street -- While you could go there, in general I suspect that most of their business is takeout - there is little appealing about the interior of the restaurant. The only person working appeared to be the owner, and he covered both the register and the kitchen. I'd love to support this restaurant by giving them business - I fear they aren't getting enough traffic to stay in business for long (perhaps I visited at a particularly quiet time?)

It was good but not the best I've ever had. Pretty pricey also. The labneh and the spiced potatoes were my favorite thing. The shrimp was a little salty and the rice was just ok. Other than that the owner/ workers are very nice people so that made it better. I like the place and i like the Arabic channel they put on tv but the food is just ok , not very traditional though .

Was craving some Mediterranean for lunch today and found this place online. I went during lunch, and it was not as busy as I thought it would be. I placed my order and was told there was a 25-minute wait, which no biggie. I ordered the Lamb Gyro with fries and an order of Falafel. The Falafel was amazing!!!!!!! Had just enough crisp to it and was very, very tasteful. The lamb gyro was not bad. The lamb was very flavorful. Now the gyro was more of like a wrap, and the wrap, unfortunately, was a bit too hard for me. It was hard for me to bite down and chew. I'm not sure what happened there, but I just wish it was a bit warmer and softer for me to chew. Either way, it was delicious, and I will be coming back to try other things on their menu. They are in a shopping center so there are plenty of parking spots to choose from.

The food was good got the lamb kabobs wanted a combination lamb & chicken but they don't offer that and they are more expensive than Jasmin Grill just down the road and better quality food . Also not happy having to prepay and forced to leave a tip or not before you even get your food or services .

This is among the top new food destinations recently for best flavor, satisfaction, excellent service and value for dollars spent. Everything was excellent- Lamb kabab, chicken shwarama, Kafka kabab, hummus, tabouleh, fattoush and Baklava (extraordinary). I cannot wait to return and explore the menu more.

They have a huge menu with plenty of options, and everything we tried tasted great. It's primarily a restaurant, but you can also buy packed food items which is a nice bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here. They served generous portions of babaganoush and hummus -- both were delicious. They also gave us complimentary lentil soup, and it was surprisingly good. For entrees, we ordered the lamb shank, which was juicy, tender, and absolutely amazing. The adana kabab was top notch with incredible flavor. The chicken shawarma and chicken kabab could have been a bit more tender, but still enjoyable overall. They also have a large selection of desserts on the menu, so definitely save some room if you can. Overall, we had a great experience at La Shish Kabob -- warm hospitality, big portions, and flavorful food. Would definitely go back!

I elected the fresh veggies(squash, carrots and broccoli) and fries. It was a little weird that my fries were served to me within minutes of placing my order. They were hot and seasoned well. By the time my chicken meal came the fries were gone. I was not sad as I was hungry but it was a little strange to me. The chicken was a good portion and great flavor. It was also served with a dipping sauce that resembled taziki sauce but not sure it was. Regardless it was tasty. This is a place I would go to again. They were busy with both dine-in and takeout orders. The salad was a great portion and for a little extra they added feta cheese to it for me. There is a 10% service charge for dining in (don't worry I added an additional 10%!)

But the mutton dum biryani from this restaurant happens to be hands down, the best one I have tasted outside of Hyderabad, India. Coupled with mirchi ka salan that gives you the authentic notes of what only few handpicked chefs in hyderabad could achieve. The taste of the biryani is consistent (I ordered same dish over 10 times now). It is not too spicy, which is good because it does not dominate the inherent flavor of the biryani.
