Nice food. Chicken Mandi very yummy. Good amount of rice which fills me up well. Had the Lamb Mandi once, it was MUCH more expensive and much LESS meat, will not order that again. Had a Chicken Shish Kebab, flavour is good however for the price it demands, it is not. I will stick with my Chicken Mandi. Sauce is so phenomenal I had to make it myself at home. It is a thin and spicy, red sauce, with a thick white yogurt sauce. Nice. Nice money wall from all over the world, I love. Service is normal, nothing special. Very cute chicken arm

Nice ambiance. We ordered the chicken shawarma plate, which comes with rice, but they brought just the chicken shawarma. When we told them, they gave us the rice for free. The food was good for the price and worth a visit.

Food was awesome period, taste so much better than other similar restaurants. Everything was hot and fresh. Seasoned to the gods. My new favorite spot. Unfortunately my seating area was getting direct sunlight beaming down, unbearable heat from awkward angle, sunlight shining through small gape from awning. It was around 5.30pm back of restaurant seating area table #10-12. If it wasn't for that 5 stars. Next time i will get different table , didn't have choice due to large party we had. Will be returning soon.

Yesterday was my first time visiting this place and it will be my last. The food was decent (not great), but I was appalled by the way management treats the staff. I definitely will not be going back. It was kind of weird going into a kebab spot that felt as sterile as a hospital, but I guess I should never complain about a food establishment being clean. I walked up to place my to go order and saw that there was a blaring huge sign that said 10% service fee for dining in, good thing I was getting mine to go. I then looked at the menu and saw at the bottom of every page the phrase "Kindly, we add 10% to 15% service charge". Doesn't say to whom or why or what. No clue if I caught that charge for using my credit card as I didn't get a receipt. That wasn't the deal breaker though. An employee admitted to the lady manager that she had given someone the wrong sandwich in their order, she gave them chicken when they wanted lamb, or something like that. The boss then tirelessly berated this poor girl over and over again. And then had the nerve to say that if anything like this happened again on a to go order it would be taken out of the employee's paychecks. Another guy asked, "even me" and she said yeah you too. I don't think this is legal, I wanted to say something to the employees about their legal rights, but I was also the only white guy in there at the time, I was still waiting on the food I paid for and was in a hurry. I hope they read this, contact the DOL and find a job where they are respected and treated like humans. Cava has similar food right across the street. There are a couple of halal carts near by that are cheaper and better. And of course, the old staple of Le Shish Kabab is still there, just not in the University area.

Food was amazing I could not stop. All I have to say is Service was grate and all the staff and admins were kind. The ambience was great like I was in a five star hotel and the they took me the to a special dining room but in a restaurant.

Loved this place I can't believe I have never been before! Service was great. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with fries and yellow rice as my two sides. It came with so much chicken! I loved the seasoning on the fries and the rice. The chicken was super flavorful and tender. I also loved the garlic sauce that it came with. I even ordered a 16oz container of it to take home. My sister had the chicken kebabs and they were also very tender. They had a nice chargrilled flavor as well. Overall, everything was so fresh and flavorful and I will definitely come back to try other menu items!

I came to Le Kebab for the first time with family and friends, and we had such a positive and delicious experience. The food tasted delicious and was truly traditional, the ambience was good and clean, and the service was great. There were 5 of us in our party, so we ordered quite a few dishes, such as the chicken shawarma, the beef and chicken skewers, the lentil soup, the falafel, hummus and baba ganoush, the fried cauliflower, and the veal chops. We were not disappointed. Everything was tasty, and I personally noticed it was not that salty, which I appreciated. For drinks we tried the home made lemonade, and we loved it! The location was easy to get to with the GPS as it is located in a popular shopping plaza with other restaurants and stores with its own free parking lot. Overall, 100% recommended.

The lamb was delicious but could only eat half of it.

Quality of the food has changed. Prices went up. Staff not friendly. I didn't enjoy dining here for lunch. I probably won't be back. Other places to choose from in the area.

Delicious delicious food, ESPECIALLY for the price! I didn't know that restaurants still existed out there that were ACTUALLY affordable! We are Turkish, so we were naturally craving some cheap middle eastern cuisine, and we got more than we expected when we ate here! Everything, I mean EVERYTHING was incredible. The hummus was my absolute favorite. We also loved the baba ghanoush. We were too full after the main dishes, because they give you generous servings! Weirdly, their French fries are another thing I want to brag about too, because they are golden, crispy and fried to perfection- way better than any fast food restaurant could do! Our server was a doll, and got our food to us so quickly. He checked on us periodically as well, ensuring our waters stayed full! I highly recommend this business, and we will be eating here again the next time we head to Charlotte!

I recently stopped into le kebab Grill for a Sunday lunch. It's a sit down restaurant or you can order to go at the counter. The food was all really yummy and good portions, but the plates were way too small. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken kebab and it was hard to keep it all on the plate. It kept spilling over which was annoying. We started out with some hummus which was yummy, but the pita was really chewy and thin. We also ordered a chicken shawarma plate with spicy rice and veggies. The spicy rice was great along with the chicken, but I wasn't a big fan of their tzatziki sauce. Also, the sauce didn't really have much of a flavor too it. Overall food was pretty good and fresh, just a few things that take away from the experience.

For entrees, we ordered the lamb shank, which was juicy, tender, and absolutely amazing. The adana kabab was top notch with incredible flavor. The chicken shawarma and chicken kabab could have been a bit more tender, but still enjoyable overall. Monday night, half price wine by the glass or bottle, all of them on the list! Love when they do that without limitations. So we went with a glass of champagne! Because why not when it's half price! Service was excellent , and the food just awesome . So fresh and delicious. The menu here is so nice and varied with so many options. We started with the prosciutto carpaccio, paper thin prosciutto with olive oil, and fresh Parmesan and fresh greens, white balsamic and hazelnut. This was amazing, just yummy. The roasted mushrooms, come on a sliced yogurt, with verde hummus, and sumac onions. Again so flavorful and so many different things going on in this dish. Highly recommend this. The short rib bolognese. A fabulous small plate, but plenty for two . This sauce was so good with the fresh grilled bread they serve. The pasta was perfectly cooked, spinach flavored. We started with the Prosciutto carpaccio and the Whipped Ricotta appetizers to share. Both of those were pretty good and the bread that came along with it was good too. It was grilled and nice and crispy. For drinks, one of my friends ordered the rosé wine flight, I ordered their house red wine, and my other friend ordered wine as well. The wine selection was good so we are pleased with that. It was our main entrées that we ordered that we were not pleased with. For example, I ordered the steak skewer, which I understood would be a small plate, but when it came out to find that it was just one skewer was a little bit misleading, and I wish that I had ordered something else because that was not enough for my dinner. Our server didn't come back to check on us after our food arrived so I wasn't even able to add any more small plates. In addition, my friend did not enjoy her pasta at all, and I tried to bite, and it was not good. Only my friend who ordered the Bolognese pasta was pleased with her dinner choice. Due to our server not coming back to our table to check on us and also didn't really give us suggestions of what to order or how to order I wasn't very pleased with our experience. I don't know if I would come back because honestly, the meal was pretty mid for how expensive it was priced. The inside of the restaurant is cute and the patio as well but the food is mid and expensive for the service to be so poor.

One of my favorite spots back then was Nick the Greek--the bowls were simple, flavorful, and consistently satisfying. So naturally, I went on a little search mission here to find something that could scratch that same itch. That's how I landed at Yaffo Kitchen. Close, but no cigar--but still very good. I visit both the Dilworth location off East Boulevard and the Plaza Midwood spot fairly often, and they've become dependable places when I'm craving Mediterranean flavors. The atmosphere is casual, bright, and welcoming. I especially appreciate the option to sit inside when it's blazing hot outside, and when the weather is nice, their covered patio with umbrellas is a great place to linger over a meal. Now let's talk about the schnitzel--because that's the star for me. I know schnitzel isn't the first thing people expect at a Mediterranean-style restaurant, but they do it right. It's made to order, thin, crispy, and coated in panko, served with a fresh slice of lemon that brings everything together. I usually pair it with a side salad, but if the mac and cheese is piping hot that day, that's my backup plan. Another thing I really enjoy is their drink selection. They carry Tractor beverages--non-carbonated organic teas made with cane sugar and no high-fructose corn syrup or preservatives. There are several flavors to choose from, and they're refreshing without being overly sweet. It's a small detail, but one I genuinely appreciate. I've also had the roasted chicken, which was surprisingly excellent--juicy, well-seasoned, and satisfying without being heavy. And the pita? Warm, soft, and dangerously easy to keep eating. One lesson I've learned the hard way: edit yourself when building a bowl. The first few times I went, I got excited and piled on too many toppings, and everything blended into one big, goopy situation where you couldn't really taste anything distinctly. It's like wearing all your favorite accessories at once--individually they're beautiful, but together they compete with each other. Less really is more here, and once you find the right balance, the flavors shine. Prices are reasonable for the quality, service is quick, and the restaurants are consistently clean and well-run. I believe they offer beer and wine as well, though I usually stick to the teas. While I'm still on the hunt for that exact bowl I used to love back in California--simple, balanced, and unforgettable--Yaffo Kitchen has definitely earned a regular spot in my rotation.
