Stopped in for dinner as I was in town on business and it was super close to my hotel. I had the grilled chicken plate and it came with two sides. I elected the fresh veggies(squash, carrots and broccoli) and fries. It was a little weird that my fries were served to me within minutes of placing my order. They were hot and seasoned well. By the time my chicken meal came the fries were gone. I was not sad as I was hungry but it was a little strange to me. The chicken was a good portion and great flavor. It was also served with a dipping sauce that resembled taziki sauce but not sure it was. Regardless it was tasty. This is a place I would go to again. They had a decent crowd as there was a buffet available if one chose. I stuck to the menu and stayed clear of the buffet. First time in NC but I was introduced to a "dine in" fee. It is not a tip but for the privilege of eating at the restaurant. It was 10%. I have never heard of this in Texas. read more

Best falafel I've had in a long time! I ordered the falafel salad for dine-in. Large space than I expected, there are plenty of indoor and outdoor seats, and the staff are very nice but the it's not somewhere you would go if you're in a rush. The staff did take time to attend to me to take my order, bring my check, etc. I probably could have gone to the front counter to request someone quicker. They were busy with both dine-in and takeout orders. The salad was a great portion and for a little extra they added feta cheese to it for me. I have dined here a few times. The service and food are consistently 5 out of 5. Our server patiently answered our questions and was attentive throughout our time there. She also made sure to verify that all items for my son were gluten-free. The kitchen even went above and beyond by preparing the falafel to make it gluten-free. I should add that it was some of the best falafel I have ever had. It was very flavorful with just the right amount of spice. And it was not dry! All of the food was delicious. Our server made sure to let us know that the special Chicken dish would take 30 minutes to prepare. It was well worth the wait! I have never gone and it be crowded. Nice food. Chicken Mandi very yummy. Good amount of rice which fills me up well. Had the Lamb Mandi once, it was MUCH more expensive and much LESS meat, will not order that again. Had a Chicken Shish Kebab, flavour is good however for the price it demands, it is not. I will stick with my Chicken Mandi. Sauce is so phenomenal I had to make it myself at home. Yesterday was my first time visiting this place and it will be my last. The food was decent (not great), but I was appalled by the way management treats the staff. I definitely will not be going back. It was kind of weird going into a kebab spot that felt as sterile as a hospital, but I guess I should never complain about a food establishment being clean. I walked up to place my to go order and saw that there was a blaring huge sign that said 10% service fee for dining in, good thing I was getting mine to go. I then looked at the menu and saw at the bottom of every page the phrase "Kindly, we add 10% to 15% service charge". Doesn't say to whom or why or what. No clue if I caught that charge for using my credit card as I didn't get a receipt. That wasn't the deal breaker though. An employee admitted to the lady manager that she had given someone the wrong sandwich in their order, she gave them chicken when they wanted lamb, or something like that. The boss then tirelessly berated this poor girl over and over again. And then had the nerve to say that if anything like this happened again on a to go order it would be taken out of the employee's paychecks. Another guy asked, "even me" and she said yeah you too. I don't think this is legal, I wanted to say something to the employees about their legal rights, but I was also the only white guy in there at the time, I was still waiting on the food I paid for and was in a hurry. I hope they read this, contact the DOL and find a job where they are respected and treated like humans. Cava has similar food right across the street. There are a couple of halal carts near by that are cheaper and better. And of course, the old staple of Le Shish Kabab is still there, just not in the University area. read more

I came to Le Kebab for the first time with family and friends, and we had such a positive and delicious experience. The food tasted delicious and was truly traditional, the ambience was good and clean, and the service was great. There were 5 of us in our party, so we ordered quite a few dishes, such as the chicken shawarma, the beef and chicken skewers, the lentil soup, the falafel, hummus and baba ganoush, the fried cauliflower, and the veal chops. We were not disappointed. Everything was tasty, and I personally noticed it was not that salty, which I appreciated. For drinks we tried the home made lemonade, and we loved it! The location was easy to get to with the GPS as it is located in a popular shopping plaza with other restaurants and stores with its own free parking lot. Overall, 100% recommended. read more

Delicious delicious food, ESPECIALLY for the price! I didn't know that restaurants still existed out there that were ACTUALLY affordable! We are Turkish, so we were naturally craving some cheap middle eastern cuisine, and we got more than we expected when we ate here! Everything, I mean EVERYTHING was incredible. The hummus was my absolute favorite. We also loved the baba ghanoush. We were too full after the main dishes, because they give you generous servings! Weirdly, their French fries are another thing I want to brag about too, because they are golden, crispy and fried to perfection- way better than any fast food restaurant could do! Our server was a doll, and got our food to us so quickly. He checked on us periodically as well, ensuring our waters stayed full! I recently stopped into le kebab Grill for a Sunday lunch. It's a sit down restaurant or you can order to go at the counter. The food was all really yummy and good portions, but the plates were way too small. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken kebab and it was hard to keep it all on the plate. It kept spilling over which was annoying. We started out with some hummus which was yummy, but the pita was really chewy and thin. We also ordered a chicken shawarma plate with spicy rice and veggies. The spicy rice was great along with the chicken, but I wasn't a big fan of their tzatziki sauce. Also, the sauce didn't really have much of a flavor too it. Overall food was pretty good and fresh, just a few things that take away from the experience. read more

Came in town for a conference and decided to try this place. The waitress was nice and answered a lot of questions from us. For appetizers, we got the hummus to share. It was pretty big... very delicious! Actually everything here is in very big size. For 3 people, probably 2 entrees are enough. I had the Shawarma with both chicken and lamb. They didn't have it on the menu as mixed but I asked for it. It came with a wrap under the meat if you don't select any rice as a side. The two sides I got were the chicken vegetable soup and sauteed vegetables. The soup turned out so good!!! I really love it. The meat was dry for both the chicken and lamb... they taste good. The sauteed veggies were a bit undercooked but okay. My friend got the plate with 3 kabobs over yellow rice. Also turned out very good but too much food. We love Le Kabob's fantastic food. Their food is consistently delicious. We love their regular staff too. They're very friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. Like they truly care! Unfortunately, we had a new waitress.. She screwed up multiple times, plus ignored us when we needed help. She was needlessly cruel to another server in front of us, like a bully. We first visited the spot a couple years ago and have loved it ever since we frequently ordered their shrimp kebabs as well as their special chicken. We were very impressed with the flavor and we have come back frequently since. The service members are great and have no problem explaining any item on the menu. We placed our order and it took like 8 mins for the food to come out. Such yummy comfort foods with amazing flavors. Awesome staff our waiter was so kind and helpful! There was so much food at such a good price. Really great portions and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. So glad we stopped by. We got the combo appetizer: falafel was not dry and tasty, salad was fresh, hummus was delicious, and we ordered 3 plates. Mozat was superb. Meat was very tender and flavorful I almost didn't need the yogurt sauce. Paired it with yellow rice. I could eat just the rice by itself. Lamb mandi was equally good.. only difference with the mozat is that it uses didferent cut of meat. Gyro plate was excellent. Overall would definitely come back when we're in the area. My fiancé and I are regulars here, we love this place! We dine in, as well as take-out. Their stuffed grape leaves/dolmas are the BEST I've had in my entire life. They come out warm and whatever sauce they're in... I lick the plate clean and eat all the lettuce that's doused in it... SO good. Their garlic sauce is also amazing! And I usually don't get the fries, but the couple times I did, they were delicious! Golden, crispy, and deliciously seasoned. You might feel like you're paying more than you should for dinner, but the portion sizes are HUGE, so I pretty much always eat my leftovers the next day for lunch now, otherwise I get uncomfortably full! And the leftovers are still so yummy since the seasonings/sauces have even more time to soak into the food. We've always experienced friendly service while eating here, and they usually get the food out pretty quickly (10-20 minutes... Same for takeout). They do charge a service fee for eating in, which some people seem to get butthurt about, but with the way some people tip, I don't blame them! FYI, my fiancé and I usually get the mixed chicken/lamb shawarma plate over yellow rice, and we pay a few extra dollars to swap the typical side for their greek salad!! And of course the dolmas... Very unassuming location, but perfectly flavored lentil soup, kibbeh, dolmas, and kebabs!

I have been coming to Le Kebab for over 10 years, and have never had a bad meal or service. Dine in or take out, it's some of the best middle eastern food I've had, outside of the actual Middle East. The lamb shawarma is my usual go-to from the menu, but I've also tried several of the daily specials. Some of these may include cuts of meat that are a bit different to the western world, but if you go in with an open mind, you may find some new foods that you really enjoy. Le Kebab has never disappointed, and I would encourage patrons to expand their palette by trying some of the daily specials. read more

This little corner place is unassuming, genuinely great food. Yalanji is the best I have tasted outside of our own family kitchen. Hummus is the creamiest and smoothest! Baba Ghannouj is smoky .. the mixed grill with spicy rice was perfectly seasoned and perfectly grilled. The lentil soup seemed popular, but was the one thing I would pass on. We came back a second time to buy a 32 oz container of Hummus to take home. We shared the mixed appetizer and mixed grill platter. It was plenty for two. read more
