I needed to grab a quick bite before going to the airport and decided to stop here. The chicken and rice blew me away! The flavors were so good! The green sauce had a nice kick to it as well. The fries were also delicious! I couldn't complain about the $18-20 price tag! What an amazing combo! Don't sleep on this place!

Have been coming to Jasmine for years and introduced my buddy to them the other day. Looks like they changed ownership and updated the decor but still have the same flavors and tasty dishes. We got the grilled chicken kabobs, hummus, rice and salad. The garlic sauce is the best!! Great for take out or dine in. Check them out if you want a filling and balanced meal with lean protein. Perfect for post workout fuel.

Definitely worth trying service was great food was fresh. Ambience was fabulous. Smoothie was refreshing.

    Menu

2026 Mar 31: 1) lamb kebab ( they are out of lamb chops! ) comes with yellow rice, one side - choose lentil soup 2) chicken kebab with yellow rice and house salad, 3) hummus plate 4) lentil soup. Hummus is pretty good but the best are the kebabs - both lamb and chicken are excellent! Yellow rice is tasty too. Lentil soup was not as good as what we had in Türkiye.

I love this place I would love to try the lamb chops next. I have a three meat(shrimp, beef, chicken) kabob plate with yellow rice and bell peppers red onions. There was a salad with a very strong lemon flavor that I didn't really care for but it taste very healthy. All the meat had so much flavor packed in cooked to perfection cost about $25-$30 a plate

Here we were eating at this delicious restaurant again! Let me tell you this - the food is delicious. The customer service is great! The price is a bit high for what we got but I don't blame this restaurant- that my friends is the economy we have in Washington DC right now driving our prices out of control. (End of politics rant ) The price for both of us was about 22 bucks each and considering we ate delicious lamb, two huge bowls lentil soup , two different kinds of hummus and drinks - I have no complaints. It is delicious food ! If you don't try it - you've missed out.

On our way back from the airport my mom and I stopped for lunch at Jasmine Grill. It had terrific reviews on yelp and was only about 3 miles from our location at the time so off we went. My mom loves Mediterranean food, especially lamb. I will never turn down a chicken Shawarma plate and this one boasted being carved off the traditional vertical rotisserie which is not as common in the US. We both had a choice of two side items with our main entrée. We both chose the yellow rice and a side salad. Our side salad isn't pictured, but it was full of vegetables, particularly tomatoes and cucumbers. A delicious vinaigrette on it and had the addition of mint, which was a very pleasant flavor. When our main entrée came out, we were both surprised how generous the portion was. Prices for entrées ranged between $14-$18 but we both felt it was a great value. Neither of us finished our rice, which was delicious, but we just didn't have room after eating, our generous portion of meat. One thing I do want to point out is that we fell in love with the little cup of garlic paste they served alongside our dish. we both could not get enough of that! We asked our server what was in it and he said it was just garlic and salt and a little oil. I promptly went to my car after we had finished and looked up recipes how to make it. Jasmine Grill is not a fancy place in anyway. In fact, I feel like they could improve the interior a little bit but really the food is the star of the show here and the decor in the restaurant and the ambience are of minor importance. Our server was kind and we received our food very quickly. The service was not over the top friendly or anything like that, but we were not ignored by any means and very much enjoyed our meal. I wish I lived closer to Jasmine Grill because I know this would be a regular stop. If you have a smaller appetite, you could easily share one of the plates between two people.

Lunch while waiting for my car to get serviced, Jasmine Grill was busy with families and smelling delicious. I chose the Chicken Shawarma platter and mostly sorta a little tried to be keto. The labneh was excellent and firm and tasty. Chicken was a little spicy and very flavorful and moist. Hummus was absolutely excellent - the right consistency and thickness that I really enjoy. With a big basket of fresh pita bread quarters and I ate one or two. $20 for lunch (with tip, no drink). Not bad for a big meal.

Meat and cheese pies... so soft ! Grape leaves.

The food here is excellent ! I got the beef and lamb Shawarma ($16) with yellow rice. It was fantastic with whatever the spicy green sauce and yogurt-like sauce is that came with it. Their baba ganoush was also excellent. It had several very thin pita breads with it. For appetizers, we ordered the meat pies (one of each - 3 for $11). The bread is incredibly soft. One had cheese in the middle, one had a meat mixture in the middle, and I haven't tried the 3rd one yet. However, the 2 that I tried were very good ! The only slight disappointment was the grape leaves. They were very thin with not much filling for $9. My friend got the chicken shawarma and she said her food was really good. Our service was pleasant and our food was served very quickly. They do not charge a card fee. The atmosphere is just so-so for a strip mall setting. However, the food is so good that I'll be coming back with my husband so that he can try it. I know he will love it.

Delicious food; good service and nice atmosphere. I was surprised by how delicious the food was.

Ive been here many times and they never missed. The Lamb and Beef plate was excellent. The Lamb and beef was cooked with loads of flavor with tenderness in the center. The plate came with two sauces. The yellow rice was seasoned well. The plate came with a garlic and spicy sauce. The garlic sauce was very good! and went well with the dish. The service was great with the waitress explaining the things on the menu. She was nice and prompt. The atmosphere is relaxed.

This is just an update of what we have a few days ago at this Jasmine Grill after I met two new friends. We all were volunteers at Trump's rally in Charlotte. The two new friends have heritage from Middle East. And I have a new visitor from HongKong, he loves new food. I then suggested this place to see how they would grade the food. We ordered kabobs, Shawarma. They all enjoyed the food and gave good comments. We ordered coffee, just they didn't have cinnamon. Other than that, everything was very good.

Chicken Kabab, yellow rice and Hummus.

I have been eating at this place for many years. Their food is delicious and very flavorful so I don't know if people have been complaining about their food recently but my chicken Kabob was severely over cooked to the point I thought I was eating beef jerky. It was very hard and dry. The restaurant should really invest in meat thermometers if they can't cook the chicken breast properly. Everyone knows that chicken breast can be very dry if you over cook it. I would like to continue to patronize the restaurant but I just can't if they are going to severely over cook the chicken. Please please please invest in a meat thermometer to ensure that the meat is not over or under cooked. Thank you.

Get Schnitz-faced!!…read more In Yafo Kitchen has become my go-to spot in Charlotte, largely because of one dish: the schnitzel. If you're a schnitzel fan, stop reading and order it. Two generous pieces arrive shatteringly crisp with a beautifully seasoned panko crust that's never greasy. The chicken stays tender and juicy, and the fresh lemon wedges bring everything to life. It's one of those dishes that keeps pulling me back. My favorite side is the shell macaroni and cheese. Rich, creamy, and unapologetically indulgent. Together, the schnitzel and mac and cheese are comfort food perfection. I also love the self-serve organic Tractor beverages, the open kitchen concept, and how consistently clean the restaurant feels. The team is friendly, the food comes out quickly, and you can watch everything being prepared right in front of you. Parking is easy thanks to the shared shopping center lot, the outdoor patio along East Boulevard is pleasant, and the portions are generous for the price. Clean restaurant. Friendly people. The chicken skewers were especially great during earlier visits -- very moist, flavorful, and something we specifically came back to order again. Unfortunately, our last visit was really disappointing. The chicken was extremely overcooked and very dry compared to prior visits. The brussel sprouts were also undercooked and mostly raw. It's also worth noting they do not take reservations for parties under six, which can make planning ahead difficult during busy times. It was frustrating because we know the food can be much better based on our previous experiences. If the kitchen were more consistent, the rating would be very different.

The service was attentive throughout our visit, and I appreciated that our server offered recommendations. They were also kind enough to refry our fries when they came out a bit mushy, which was a thoughtful touch. We started with the fried calamari, which was crispy and served with a delicious dipping sauce that really elevated the dish. I'd give it an 8/10. The Greek salad was fresh and loaded with peppers, tomatoes, and feta cheese. It was a solid, classic Greek salad, though nothing particularly stood out about it so I'd give it a 6/10. For our entrée, we ordered the Meat Trio, which came with chicken, pork, and lamb shavings, along with vegetables, pita bread, and rice, as well as the Mad Greek Salad with chicken. The presentation was great, and the portion size was generous. The lamb wasn't my favorite, but the pork was well-seasoned and full of flavor. The chicken was juicy, tender, and had a nice color. The rice was a bit bland on its own, but it paired much better with the tzatziki and the rest of the meal. The Meat Trio - 8/10 ; Mad Greek Salad with Chicken - 10/10. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience, and I'd come back to try some of their other entrées!

I assumed it had just been mixed and that the usual layers of matcha, strawberry, and whipped cloud had blended together, so I didn't think much of it. However, after taking my first sip in the car, it immediately tasted like strawberry milk. Since I was on my way to work, I kept drinking it, expecting the matcha flavor to come through, but it never did.
