Kefta Kabab Plate

Very friendly and customer focused staff. I came in shortly before closing, but they still gave me great service! Will definitely go back again!

Excellent food. Owner hospitality is amazing. Great service. Chicken and lamb shawerma was perfect. Falafel was hot and crunchy. Hummus was good but could be thicker with more Tahini. We order mix to go. Owner gave us extra stuff . Very generous

We thad food to go, and it was very authentic. Everything from the tabouli to the Kibie, humus, grape leaves was excellent. Our group knows great Mediterranean (Syrian) food, and this is one of the best we've had except home cooking. The woman who helped us was freindly and happy to give us extra plates and forks. Next time I'm in townb, this where I'll be oreding my Syrian style food.

The only picture I have (so far).

This place is somewhat hidden off the highway in a small strip mall behind a McDonald's and next to a hotel. It's definitely not a highly visible location, which is a shame because it's really good. The vibe with the staff is right on point for a kabob place. Definitely authentic. And the food is excellent--just messy as hell! Fortunately, that's the only negative. If you like messy but tastes good, it's for you. If you like clean and bland, keep searching.

Shawarma "Beef and Lamb" Plate
Cecillia A.

So first time here, I went Wednesday night and it was not busy at all. Only me and two other people there. Location is a good location because they share parking with other shops in the area so parking is not limited. I ordered first and paid after I finished dinner. There was one cook and I think someone else in the building but was in a different room so didn't see them. The cook didn't greet us when we first walked in, but greeted us later when we were ready to order. My friend and I ordered the shawarma beef and lamb plate but I think we only got beef because there was no indication on which meat was which. It all looked the same. The portion is quick generous considering it was a 20$ plate. I've been to other mediterranean places and they normally give you a salad and chips with it but I only got pita bread with this dish. It wasn't the best but I was hungry so didn't mind. Just wished it came with more things for the price. It seems like a family owned place which is nice. That's always the best to support small businesses. But will definitely ordered something different next time

Shawarma Chicken on Hummus

I can't believe I waited so long to eat here as it's been on my bookmark list for quite some time, isn't that far from home and I love Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food. Plus, you know who loves it even more than me? My wife who is known to regularly mention, out of the blue, how much she loved picking up the Hummus and Tabbouleh from a favorite spot back in FL. Well, mission finally accomplished as we went for lunch, just loved everything we ate and had plenty left to take home for later. She got the Shawarma on top of some oh so smooth and tasty Hummus. Look, I don't really even like hummus (or thought I didn't anyway and I kept going after it off her plate to add to my order which was the Shawarma Chicken and Meat plate. We also got the Tabbouleh (very fresh and flavorful) along with some Baba Ghannouge. Check, check, check, etc. We both were full and kept eating cause it was so tasty. Will definitely be going back.

Not the same as the other owners. The hummus and chicken were bland. The sauces are not as flavorful. Probably won't return.

My go-to order is the Halal chicken over rice and a side of falafel. The chicken over rice comes with perfectly seasoned chicken, bell peppers, and onions, served on a bed of basmati rice with a salad mix, two pieces of pita bread, and both red and white sauce. The portions are generous, and the price is very reasonable. As for the falafel, it's some of the best I've had in Winston-Salem. It's light, flavorful, and not greasy just the perfect balance. You can order from the truck directly, call ahead, or even use Uber Eats. Personally, I like calling ahead, and the owner is always super friendly! I'll definitely be returning again and again.

There is a quick turnaround on the order and you can call ahead as well, which is very convenient. There are a variety of authentic dishes ranging from chapli kebab to chicken or lamb over rice. In terms of ambiance there isn't any seating because this is a takeout truck. Not to mention the family is very sweet and accommodating! Just look out for the orange truck!

I used to recommend this place, but after my recent experience, I can't anymore…read more First, they barely have any sides or appetizers. The only side they consistently seem to have is fries. I wanted cheese fries, but they told me they didn't have any cheese. That made no sense because they were still selling hamburgers and chopped cheese sandwiches, so clearly they had cheese. On top of that, I was told my food would be ready in 20-25 minutes, but I ended up waiting an entire hour. When I finally got my order, it wasn't even made correctly. I asked for both white sauce and red sauce, and neither was included. The long wait, lack of menu items, and incorrect order were very disappointing. I had been seeing them promoting this place on TikTok and I wanted to support a local business, but after this experience, I hope they improve their customer service, food preparation, and inventory management. The only reason for two stars is they sauce but they stay forgetting it!!

I knew what to expect walking in a gas station but didn't know it was going to be cooked fresh and DELICIOUS! The service was super friendly and pointed me the right direction. I wanted a rice dish and got the lamb to try out. Wow! It was full of flavor and not greasy like some places. Ultra flavorful rice, with meat and a nice salad to go with it covered in a nice white dressing. You can also get a hot or a garlic sauce on the side. This will be the first of many times we will go. 1. Take out only 2. Grab a drink there at gas station or at QT and enjoy a nice halal meal.

I keep wondering what they have to offer at this Halal meats grocery store. Sometimes small markets…read moreare sparsely stocked... but not this place. The shelves are jam-packed with Middle Eastern foods including dates, Turkish apricots, baklava, halva, and other dried fruits, nuts and pastries. The canned goods are plentiful from tuna, sardines, pickled fruits and vegetables, hot sauces, spices and so much more. There's a good selection of cold drinks, yogurts, mango lassi, juices and cheeses. There are coffees and teas, and even a frozen food area with meat dishes, flatbreads, pitas and more. The highlight of this market were the two men working there. When we first walked in we stopped at the meat deli case which features chicken, beef, lamb and goat. The prices are very reasonable compared to the grocery stores. T-bone steaks for 7.99 per pound, Ribeyes 9.99 and filet mignon for 12.99. We weren't there for more than 10 seconds when the man says, "we've got the freshest meat in Winston-Salem. Come, follow me!" He took me through their kitchen/meat butchering area to the walk in cooler where they have sides of beef and lamb hanging in the cooler. It was nice to get a behind the scenes tour and the place was very clean as well. The other man at the register seemed less confident in his English, but when checking out, I picked up what looked like a stick in a clear package. Not knowing what it was, I put it down. He picked it up, cut it open, began shaving the bark off the outside and handed it to me. He said "My God says, use to clean teeth. Toothbrush." And he gave it to me. Obviously I had to hop on Google to find out it's name: The miswak (miswaak, siwak, sewak, Arabic: سواك or مسواك) is a teeth-cleaning twig made from the Salvadora persica tree (known as arāk, أراك, in Arabic). It is reputed to have been used over 7,000 years ago. Yeah, they have those there too. If you find joy in wandering through Super G Mart, Super Compare Foods or any international foods market, you'll like this place like I did. I just wish they had fresh made foods for a quick lunch.
