Definitely recommend going here and I was shocked that it was completely empty because the food was pretty good! The Gyro I had was a bit dry, but the flavor was 10/10! Our waitress was super awesome and sweet! Also, they do serve alcohol too, which I would've never guessed! Souvlaki was pretty good and the meat was moist pretty moist and flavorful as well! Sorry to say this, but the food was mediocre. I had higher expectations based on a friend's recommendation. Perhaps it was what we ordered (Greek salad with salmon and eggplant parm) but you would think those would have been among of their best offerings. The salad was nothing special, although the dressing was good, but the salmon was disappointing. My DIL's eggplant parmigiana was just okay. We were the only ones there during the dinner hour. At first, our waiter seemed annoyed, but warmed up with a little prodding. I wouldn't go back unless it was to try their b'fast menu, which they offer all day. read more

We just had dinner for the 2nd time here. We've been in Charlotte for 9 years and Mooresville for almost a year. Finding a true Greek diner has been HARD. The chicken parm is excellent! Tha fish and chips-delicious. My wife likes the French toast so much she has had it both times. The service is quick and friendly, even with only one server on a Saturday night. We are regulars but due to this experience will no longer continue to eat here. I'm sorry for doing this because it was always great, but last couple times there hasnt been the same waitresses or waiters. I ordered coffee but it was old & when I asked for a fresh cup the waitress brought me a new cup and had poured the same coffee in the new cup. the coffee was by then cold! the gyro was literally burnt! literally the meat burnt, & not hot at all! the breading was also burnt and un-edible! There were only 2 tables in the restaurant seated. The waitress was too busy talking in the corner table she wasnt even realizing the horrible service she was providing. First of all, I give this restaurant 5 stars for the food as everything I have received has been freshly made, great tasting and the portions are huge especially in a time whereas everyone is cutting back. Second, this restaurant, owner and staff went above and beyond today (01/04/24) with exceptional customer service on a door dash order gone wrong. I placed an order and the staff called me to let me know the pasta was still cooking and it would be awhile and asked to sub another dish. I really wanted the dish I ordered so I tried to cancel the door dash order but couldn't and in the interim of waiting on my food, a dasher inadvertently canceled out food on my order. To my surprise the owner allowed me to pay him directly and he had one of his staff personally deliver the food. If that wasn't enough, he threw in extra food at his cost. This restaurant has all day breakfast and a huge variety of food on their menu, including vegetarian options. Go check them out! read more

race city finally has a little greek joint in town! yea for us! the offerings are a bit restrained by midwestern-greek-joint standards but still cover a lot of ground in a few pages: standard breakfast fare plus salads, sandwiches, and pasta. add some seafood and some diner dinners and it starts to get busy like all good greek joint menus... stopped in for a morsel a while ago and did alright... coffee, icy water, hot tea and a table outside please? way too peopley inside and September was being kind to us so yeah, lunching al fresco. MLB got cakes and eggs and bacon which were about what you'd expect: eggs over easy with soft yolks, bacon still a little bendy, cakes light and fluffy but yellower on the inside than we are accustomed. CFS for me: breaded chop steak under sausage gravy plus two eggs up, taters and toast. all of it done well and served hot with refills on the beverages in a timely manner. no complaints this time around, time will tell if it's a fluke or normal operations. hoping for the latter as a good non-doughnut breakfast is getting hard to find. read more

Visited on Saturday for breakfast with my family. This place was busy! Every girl working the floor was moving at the speed of light. They were hustling!! So impressed by our service especially with how busy they were. The prices are reasonable and the food was delicious and served quickly. Can't want to come back again and try something different. We had pancakes that were cooked to perfection and my husband had an omelet with fresh veggies. For less than $7, I was highly impressed. It was $24 for all three of us to eat and we drank coffee. Finally, Mooresville on Lake Norman and north of Charlotte has a Greek restaurant! It is really good, and everyone in our surrounding neighborhoods are visiting it. Everyone raves about it including my spouse who goes there practically every day. Hours: M - Thur 7 am - 9 pm; F-S 7 am - 10 pm; Sun 7 am - 3 pm. We have not tried their breakfast...yet. They just opened, and their staff is stoked and full of energy. The fried calamari is probably the biggest I've ever seen, and the saganaki is terrific (although they don't fire it up and yell "OPA," yet.) They have Avgolemono soup, great gyros, great fried okra, and terrific sweet potato fries. And, my spouse loves their spanikopita. Charlotte and its surrounding areas have numerous Greek-owned restaurants, but those restaurants don't serve Greek food (except for gyros). This is currently the only place north of Charlotte where you can get Greek dishes. They don't have Pasticcio and Moussaka, yet. But, if our surrounding neighborhoods continue to pack this place, who knows what the future holds. They don't have their beer/wine license, yet, but they are working on it. And, their Coke is the best I've ever consumed. It's possible that if people wanted to bring in their own beer/wine, the restaurant wouldn't care. That's just an assumption. Now, it's time to eat some left-over calamari for breakfast. OPA! read more

Met a friend here for lunch. We ordered the Vegetable Pita for each of us. It had large, raw brocolli and squash on it, no seasonings. Our sides were good though; onion rings and the Greek potatoes. We sent them back and ordered the Veggie Sub instead. It was supposed to come with "Mixed greens, tomatoes, onions, banana peppers, olive oil, oregano and green peppers. Items cooked to order." We were not asked how they should be cooked or given any option. When our very nice waitress served them, it was terrible. Think of a 'hoagie roll taken directly from a plastic bag, opened, and chopped dry salad placed on it"....that was exactly what we were served. There were 2 long banana pepper stems in mine. Was so excited for a Greek restaurant but was very disappointed. The service was fine but the restaurant was dirty. They had plenty of staff and weren't very busy but had to wipe our table before we could sit. All the empty tables had the dishes removed but none of them were wiped. Strange. I walked by the kitchen to use the restroom and the kitchen was a mess! Food on the floor, dishes everywhere, just a mess. Now the food...it was edible but not really Greek. The meat in the gyro looked like it came out of a can and not sliced off a rotisserie but the fries were delicious. The large Greek salad with chicken was fine but sad to say we probably won't be going back. So sad and so disappointing. read more
