The food was fresh, very clean dining room, the staff friendly/helpful, and it the food arrived quickly and hot! Stopped in with my wife for a quick supper- we split the Greek salad and it was good, I thought the dressing was a little tart but my wife liked it. It needed a little more cheese. We both had Gyro's and they were tasty, but it was a little lite on the filling. There is a place in Charlotte called The Mad Greek and it is fantastic! But this spot was good for a quick Greek fix! I had the spicy fries which grew on me the more I ate them, my wife had the lemon/feta fries and they were good, but needed more lemon. Overall this was a good spot considering it is a chain and much better than fast food! To those about to dine, I salute you! read more

We are big fans of Greco Fresh Grille, we frequent locations throughout Charlotte. One of our favorites is the lemon oregano fries! They're so delicious! UNTIL we came to this Cornelius location. WTF! The fries came out cold and soggy! I tried giving them another chance as we were waiting for another order and those fries came out COLD AND SOGGY too! This lack of attention to detail made me regret coming to this location. I definitely won't come back to the Cornelius location. These fries should ALWAYS be fresh, crispy and HOT!! read more

I love Greek Cuisine and I've been waiting for this place to open since late last Summer. They are finally open, and it was worth the wait. My wife and I had to drop off some papers at our accountant to prepare out tax returns. They are close by, and I had suggested several places for lunch but in the end, my wife suggested this place since she knows how much I like Greek Food. It's a small shop and I may be wrong, but I think this was the old Little Big Burger location. In any case, totally remodeled and a nice clean presentation. Lunch time and they were crowded with a good lunch time clientele. My wife told me what she wanted and went to grab a table. You order at the counter, and they give you a tent for the table and later they bring your order to you. Normally I'm used to a number but in this case, it's a picture. My wife wanted the Spinach Pie Triangles with Tzatziki Dressing, and I had the Lamb Gyro. Portions are big and delicious, and my wife took some home and had it for lunch today. The Lamb Gyro was also big, and they did not skimp on the Lamb. This is a close to real Greek as you are going to get without going to the Greek Festival in Charlotte later this year. Most Greek Restaurants serve Americanized version of traditional Cuisine, and it loses something in the translation. Enjoyed the lunch and we will definitely be back. I have several friends of Greek decent and I will definitely recommend it to them. read more

An easy 5 stars for Greco Fresh Grille after the first visit. We both got the lamb gyros while she tried the hummus and I tried a small Greek salad as our sides. The lamb was tender, flavorful and served on a fresh, warmed pita with some tomato, thinly sliced red onion and tzatziki. My wife enjoyed the hummus and the salad had fresh produce, good amount of feta and a zippy oil and vinegar dressing. Oh yeah, I also tried the chicken soup and it was tasty as well with rice, good amount of chicken and a light, lemony broth. Ordering was easy, food came out quickly and the staff was friendly. It's a small thing but every once in awhile at a fast casual restaurant, it's nice to not have to bus your own table so, an added plus. We ate around noon on a Sunday and the place was busy when we arrived and stayed busy while we ate. Looking forward to another visit to try more of the menu. read more

Amazing new Greek restaurant in Cornelius. The place is really nice and the staff was super friendly. I loved that they were playing traditional Greek music and had beautiful views of Greece on the screens inside. I did a to-go order and it was ready pretty quickly. I ordered the chicken pita with opa fries. The pita was huge! I was only able to eat half of it for lunch. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy. The pita was nice and fluffy. The opa fries were amazing! They were super lemony and had lots of feta on top! I also had the Galaktompoureko. It was AMAZING! It had a nice citrus flavor, and the custard had the perfect amount of sweetness. I will definitely come back here soon! read more

My family 6 of us went there last night for dinner and there was a few couple ahead of us but it didn't seem too busy... placed our orders (not sure why I tipped them 15% on a $90 bill they just bring to the table. Oh well. The food took around 40 minutes to get to the table. It was good but I guess we got behind a couple of major take out catering type orders. This review is way overdue. I have been here multiple times since it has opened and so glad that they finally came up to the lake area. I have eaten at their other locations around the city and the food is consistently amazing. I have never had a bad experience here as the service and food is always top notch. I typically get the dolmades and Gyro Platter. The flavors are really good and you get plenty of food. Just a pro tip, you can get additional protein for a few extra dollars. DO IT, you won't regret it. I could go on and on about how great it is, but 5 stars and the other paragraphs tell the story. Solid 5-star joint! The food was amazing! We all had Gyros with side of hummus. The pita was perfectly soft and warm and the vegetables were fresh. Our food was prepared quickly and packed well (it was to go). My wife picked it up so I can't really address the restaurant itself but she had no complaints. Overall this is a welcomed addition to the Lake Norman area. The food is fresh and the service is fast. As a bigger guy, I'm not a fan of the tiny chairs that have been showing up in trendy decor restaurants lately. oh well, I'll get over that. As for the food, it was tasty and fresh. I recently discovered this place and decided to give it a try. A nice well designed clean space with friendly service. We tried lamb gyro which is a wrap with tzatziki and lamb. It was delicious, the wrap was very soft while holding the filling well. I also had spinach triangles and they were filling and delicious. Greek salad was fresh (we ordered half and it was a generous size portion) was good and so was tzatziki appetiser to share. I recommend taking home their fresh baklava or a traditional Greek custard dessert. I definitely will be coming here again. read more

It comes with a Greek salad, fries, pita, and a ton of protein. I had wished the tzatziki sauce and salad dressing were a bit stronger; it was quite bland. The salad had a lot of lettuce and onions but was lacking cucumber, tomatoes, and olives. For me, the pita was the star of the meal. My dad got the chicken gyro and said it was just okay. We don't eat a lot of Greek food...but I recently went to Greece and things are just not the same in the US.
