We have had lunch on multiple occasions. We usually have the gyros or Pitas and always the food is consistent, fresh and falvorfull. On top of that everyone at the place is very attentive and delivers top service. And we really like the fact that you can order at the front and then be served on the table, without having to pick up after yourself. Keep it up. read more

Delicious, although the prior copious amounts of feta and potatoes in the peasant salad are no more, sadly. Having spent time in Chania, Greece (Crete) this used to be our fav by far. The pits still delicious! read more

The food was fresh, very clean dining room, the staff friendly/helpful, and it the food arrived quickly and hot! Stopped in with my wife for a quick supper- we split the Greek salad and it was good, I thought the dressing was a little tart but my wife liked it. It needed a little more cheese. We both had Gyro's and they were tasty, but it was a little lite on the filling. There is a place in Charlotte called The Mad Greek and it is fantastic! But this spot was good for a quick Greek fix! I had the spicy fries which grew on me the more I ate them, my wife had the lemon/feta fries and they were good, but needed more lemon. Overall this was a good spot considering it is a chain and much better than fast food! To those about to dine, I salute you! read more

I love Greek Cuisine and I've been waiting for this place to open since late last Summer. They are finally open, and it was worth the wait. My wife and I had to drop off some papers at our accountant to prepare out tax returns. They are close by, and I had suggested several places for lunch but in the end, my wife suggested this place since she knows how much I like Greek Food. It's a small shop and I may be wrong, but I think this was the old Little Big Burger location. In any case, totally remodeled and a nice clean presentation. Lunch time and they were crowded with a good lunch time clientele. My wife told me what she wanted and went to grab a table. You order at the counter, and they give you a tent for the table and later they bring your order to you. Normally I'm used to a number but in this case, it's a picture. My wife wanted the Spinach Pie Triangles with Tzatziki Dressing, and I had the Lamb Gyro. Portions are big and delicious, and my wife took some home and had it for lunch today. The Lamb Gyro was also big, and they did not skimp on the Lamb. This is a close to real Greek as you are going to get without going to the Greek Festival in Charlotte later this year. Most Greek Restaurants serve Americanized version of traditional Cuisine, and it loses something in the translation. Enjoyed the lunch and we will definitely be back. I have several friends of Greek decent and I will definitely recommend it to them. read more

We are big fans of Greco Fresh Grille, we frequent locations throughout Charlotte. One of our favorites is the lemon oregano fries! They're so delicious! UNTIL we came to this Cornelius location. WTF! The fries came out cold and soggy! I tried giving them another chance as we were waiting for another order and those fries came out COLD AND SOGGY too! This lack of attention to detail made me regret coming to this location. I definitely won't come back to the Cornelius location. These fries should ALWAYS be fresh, crispy and HOT!! read more

An easy 5 stars for Greco Fresh Grille after the first visit. We both got the lamb gyros while she tried the hummus and I tried a small Greek salad as our sides. The lamb was tender, flavorful and served on a fresh, warmed pita with some tomato, thinly sliced red onion and tzatziki. My wife enjoyed the hummus and the salad had fresh produce, good amount of feta and a zippy oil and vinegar dressing. Oh yeah, I also tried the chicken soup and it was tasty as well with rice, good amount of chicken and a light, lemony broth. Ordering was easy, food came out quickly and the staff was friendly. It's a small thing but every once in awhile at a fast casual restaurant, it's nice to not have to bus your own table so, an added plus. We ate around noon on a Sunday and the place was busy when we arrived and stayed busy while we ate. Looking forward to another visit to try more of the menu. read more

We found out @grecofreshgrille was opening in Cornelius... and when the doors finally opened... well, we ate dinner and then lunch there the following day, too . The food is so fresh and delicious. The lamb gyro was . We love their tzatziki (always order extra, you won't regret it). The Greek salad was huge, perfectly dressed, and very filling! Amazing new Greek restaurant in Cornelius. The place is really nice and the staff was super friendly. I loved that they were playing traditional Greek music and had beautiful views of Greece on the screens inside. I did a to-go order and it was ready pretty quickly. I ordered the chicken pita with opa fries. The pita was huge! I was only able to eat half of it for lunch. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy. The pita was nice and fluffy. The opa fries were amazing! They were super lemony and had lots of feta on top! I also had the Galaktompoureko. It was AMAZING! It had a nice citrus flavor, and the custard had the perfect amount of sweetness. I will definitely come back here soon! read more

Food is outstanding. I love their tzatziki with the falafel Always a great experience.

Always good! Grilled chicken on the salata is perfect; get the tzatxiki too!! The pita is good too!

The previous owner and operator from New Jersey prided themselves on the best product and service they could offer. The gyros were authentic and delicious, a real gem out here. We had the misfortune today of wasting an 1 hr. roundtrip drive to experience the worst gyros possibly ever made. New management, NO manager on the floor, young people working their first job here. I don't know what side of the planet one would have to travel to suffer more offensive gyros like these. Unlike the original lamb gyros, these were some hybrid, air-injected, whipped-up meat molded back together to give the appearance of meat. One did not need teeth to bite through this mush-meat substitute with zero flavor. I tried three small bites and threw out the meal, as did my wife. The sandwich came out lukewarm and the fries barely warm. We spent $26.00, took a few bites, and walked the food back to the counter to throw it out. We asked to speak to a manager; nope, none here. We politely informed them how poor the food tasted, and that is when we found out about the new owners. We told them we were offended by the product, and they just walked away, not their problem. There was not one table with customers; how could they serve non-hot food? We informed them that we would never be back; embarrassing product. We were wiping our lips an hour later after the few bites, attempting to get the taste off our lips. It tasted like some type of grease fat - disgusting. As I write this, I see my previous review of 3-16-2024. This is HOW far this new restaurant has slid down the hill. They are currently doing a carryout business; this will NOT last long. The ONLY thing that gives this a 1-star rating is the fact that it looks like a restaurant and the walls are still standing. Could you make any less effort to run a business???? read more

Amazing food, service, and clean! Best Gyro Ive ever had and some of the friendliest service at any place around.

This review is way overdue. I have been here multiple times since it has opened and so glad that they finally came up to the lake area. I have eaten at their other locations around the city and the food is consistently amazing. I have never had a bad experience here as the service and food is always top notch. I typically get the dolmades and Gyro Platter. The flavors are really good and you get plenty of food. Just a pro tip, you can get additional protein for a few extra dollars. DO IT, you won't regret it. I could go on and on about how great it is, but 5 stars and the other paragraphs tell the story. I have been here a number of times, told my friends and they have told their friends. SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! Probably one of the best restaurants at the Lake. read more

Solid 5-star joint! The food was amazing! We all had Gyros with side of hummus. The pita was perfectly soft and warm and the vegetables were fresh. Our food was prepared quickly and packed well (it was to go). My wife picked it up so I can't really address the restaurant itself but she had no complaints. Bottom line is that this is going heavy into our takeout rotation! So glad we found it! read more

I really enjoyed Greco. The service was quick and friendly. It's an easy system - walk up and pay and go sit at a table. They brought us our meals on a very timely manner! The food was great - I got the regular gyro with fries. I'd totally go back! read more

We LOVE this place. The food is super fresh, authentic, and amazing. The staff are always so kind, the restaurant is clean and not pretentious and they are so much better than Cava and costs way less. I will always try to support a local business before a chain any-day, but definitely when the food/staff are as great as Greco Fresh! read more

Overall this is a welcomed addition to the Lake Norman area. The food is fresh and the service is fast. As a bigger guy, I'm not a fan of the tiny chairs that have been showing up in trendy decor restaurants lately. oh well, I'll get over that. As for the food, it was tasty and fresh. There were some opportunities though as a few of my fries were a bit soggy and the lamb in the pita tasted like a fried lamb patty. I'll just be ordering chicken next time. Good restaurant overall. read more

My family 6 of us went there last night for dinner and there was a few couple ahead of us but it didn't seem too busy... placed our orders (not sure why I tipped them 15% on a $90 bill they just bring to the table. Oh well. The food took around 40 minutes to get to the table. It was good but I guess we got behind a couple of major take out catering type orders. For the money I think we will go to Shomar's next time. read more

Amazing food and I never leave with a heavy feeling. Plus fast service. It is bright inside.

Food was good, similar to showmars but more expensive , chicken pita and fries, they have unique flavorings for their fries which is nice

Small but powerful. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. As small as it is, there always seems to be a place to sit. The outside seating is great for the warmer times. I should say that the food is all delicious. read more

I recently discovered this place and decided to give it a try. A nice well designed clean space with friendly service. We tried lamb gyro which is a wrap with tzatziki and lamb. It was delicious, the wrap was very soft while holding the filling well. I also had spinach triangles and they were filling and delicious. Greek salad was fresh (we ordered half and it was a generous size portion) was good and so was tzatziki appetiser to share. I recommend taking home their fresh baklava or a traditional Greek custard dessert. I definitely will be coming here again. read more

The food was freshly prepared and quite favorable. Portions were adequate. Prices typical Will go back.

Tasty!! Good outdoor seating area. Food was fresh and prices were right. The falafel was perfectly crispy.

The food is excellent. Excellent customer service. Felt like I was in Greece. Greek Salad is very fresh ingredients. Healthy low carb place to eat . read more

There isn't many Greek places around here, so this is definitely the place to go. The meat is cooked well where it's tender and not dry. I got the lamb plate which came with a ton of food. It comes with a Greek salad, fries, pita, and a ton of protein. I had wished the tzatziki sauce and salad dressing were a bit stronger; it was quite bland. The salad had a lot of lettuce and onions but was lacking cucumber, tomatoes, and olives. For me, the pita was the star of the meal. My dad got the chicken gyro and said it was just okay. We don't eat a lot of Greek food...but I recently went to Greece and things are just not the same in the US. Overall, food was fresh, servers were very friendly, and the place was packed on a Friday night. read more

Fantastic ! Went there tonight. I am gluten free with celiacs and they have plenty of options! - the man begin the counter was kind And made sure the chef changes gloves for my allergy. Yummy! Will be back! read more

For a fast casual restaurant, this one really is at the top of the list. It's high quality, fresh, authentic Greek flavors and there are lots of ways to customize to get exactly what you want. We absolutely love this place. Every thing we've tried has been delicious. It's fast casual, order at the counter and they bring it to you. However, don't let that make you think it's not high quality, it definitely is. My wife likes the protein bowls, I loved the lamb burger, it was epic. read more

Food was good. Falafel a little dry. Soup had good flavor. Nothing to write home about. Tatziki was on point. Hercules wrap a little dry.

Excited to try this place after reading good things from my neighbors. Service was super friendly and food was very good. Too many delicious-sounding options for one visit! Loved the hummus choices and while the original recipe was acceptable, the lemon rosemary was the star of our choices. Hubby loved the gyro meat on the loaded fries, but we did take- out so they were just OK fries (soggy) by the time we got home. Can't wait to go back to try more dishes. read more

I have been here a couple of times and have had a very good experience. I wish the staff would walk around to see if people need anything like refills of drinks. Showman's does that.
