Food is usually good but be prepared to get something in your order incorrectly. Happens often. We have been to this restaurant over probably 30+ times since we've lived in the area. They never seem to get the order correct even after double checking the order via phone. Every time they blame it on the girls in the front, which I do not blame. I blame it on the people in the back who are preparing these orders and the manager who should be holding these people accountable not the girls who are in high school and not working full-time. After tonight, I don't think we'll use this restaurant any longer as it has become such an inconvenience and we are not ever getting consistency. I think they can improve but their process needs to change. It sucks when your order is not right and it's dinner time :(

99 cent mimosas on Saturday morning

The reviews were good, so we came for breakfast after a 5K. It wasn't crowded. The servers were so friendly and attentive. Good music. 99 cent mimosas on Saturday mornings. Food was yummy. Would definitely come back & highly recommend!

Salmon Wrap with Fries

First time at this establishment and it was a really good experience. The inside was warm and inviting. We stopped in for lunch while shopping near by. The servers were quite pleasant and very attentive. The food was fresh, abundant and the quality was very good. The inside seems more like an upscale restaurant, which I was worried about for lunch but the prices seemed very reasonable. I had the salmon wrap with fries ($15) and the presentation was great and I only ate half given its size. Great value in my mind. The fries were thin and crispy (Yum!) and quite tasty, haven't had that in a long time, brought back fond memories. The manager stopped by and greeted us(nice touch) and offered us a free dessert option! My only criticism would be I also tried the clam chowder soup and it was not very good. It was thin (not a lot of flavor) and had too many large potatoes and lacked clams(I maybe saw a couple?). I was expecting a tasty rich soup with flavor, unfortunately It was lacking a lot. We will be back to try other things however. Give this place a try.

Their New York strip steak is packed with flavor and has the perfect balance of tenderness and chew. The char on the outside gives it a nice crisp bite. The peppercorn sauce adds a bold kick that pairs well with the steak. I would definitely order it again.

Blackened salmon kale salad

Fresh Chef is awesome, the food is fantastic, the service is fast and friendly. If you are in the area you owe it to yourself to stop by and get something to eat, or even if you have to go out of your way it's well worth the trip. I've yet to have anything form here that hasn't been amazing! The cajun pasta with blackened chicken has been my favorite so far, but I'm looking forward to trying other dishes.

Here's your updated review with those details added:…read more Extremely disappointing experience. We came in on a Saturday night for my friend's son's birthday with a 6:30 reservation for six people and didn't receive our food until nearly 8:30--almost a full three hours later. It was very clear the restaurant was severely understaffed, with only two servers handling the entire dining room and no bartender. Our server, Linda, truly did everything she could and remained kind and attentive despite the situation, but it was simply too much for one person to manage. Unfortunately, when the food finally arrived, it only added to the frustration. None of the steaks were cooked correctly, and the food was not served at an appropriate temperature. The only items anyone in our group really enjoyed were the shrimp appetizer and the French onion soup. At that point, after such a long wait, we didn't even feel it was worth sending anything back. This situation felt completely avoidable with proper staffing and management. While we appreciate Linda's effort, the overall experience was unacceptable, especially for what was meant to be a special birthday celebration, and prices of food! The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because Linda tried her hardest!

Overall we had a nice time but the food was just not that great. We were seated right away but our…read moreservice was startlingly slow. Our waitress was sweet and I felt bad for her as she had to apologize multiple times for the wait. Assuming the issue was in the kitchen? Starters were pretty basic and followed the same theme as the rest of our meal; not put together well but nice concept. Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly but the cheese (which was awesome) was more of a garnish than a part of the dish. There just wasn't enough for each bite. Lobster bisque was nice but the lobster was scarce and the pieces were unevenly cooked. The Steakhouse Salad was just a mess. Once again, bacon bits were not enough and the dressing was a quick blast across one half. Once the first half was eaten you were just chewing down dry lettuce. My steak was weirdly unseasoned. I mean some bites had some salt taste but for the most part it was just beef. And overcooked. Normally you can say "well, your ideas of med rare is different than..." Not this time. Very little pink and only in the middle. Demi-glaze was really good. Wife's catfish was just a mess. Batter was not bonded to the fish at all. The sauce was nice but...guess what? Only a small smear on one of the two pieces. Fish itself was super mushy. Scalloped potatoes were just mush as well and had no flavor at all. I asked for S&P and both the steak and potatoes became marginally better. Bananas Foster...not it at all. I'm not in the kitchen so I can't say for sure but I don't believe a flame or drop of rum touched this little fella. It was a plate of bananas with ice cream. Everything without exception felt unbalanced and rushed.

This was our first time here, and it's a very nice venue. To start, their coffee is delicious and strong. I had the Double Up, with scrambled eggs (with added cheddar), bacon, sausage links, sourdough toast, and fruit. My husband had the Short Rib Hash with a side of potatoes. He forgot the hash also had potatoes, and should have gotten something else, because he had far too many potatoes! My scrambled eggs were a little over cooked and the cheese was only melted on top (rather than being mixed in), but they were still decent. The bacon was perfectly crispy--as requested, and the sausage links were fine. The sourdough toast was buttered and delicious. And the fruit had watermelon--a nice addition to the usual fruit cup. My husband's short rib hash was good. The eggs were perfectly medium, but the potatoes were a bit salty. Easy Like Sunday still makes our favorite version of this dish. Our server was very pleasant, and the wait wasn't too long for our food. I loved that we could pay with ApplePay via the Toast handheld. While everything wasn't perfect, we'll definitely return and try some different items. I want to try them for dinner, too!

The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a great atmosphere and a welcoming vibe that makes it an enjoyable place to spend an evening. Our server was friendly, attentive, and helped make the meal enjoyable from start to finish. The restaurant is known for its casual yet upscale ambiance, which definitely came through during our visit.  Where the experience fell a bit short for me was the food. Everything was prepared well and perfectly edible, but nothing really stood out or felt especially memorable. It wasn't bad by any means--just not quite at the same level as the atmosphere and service. I went for the lobster tail ravioli, and it was just a bit too chewy for my taste. I was hoping for a dish that would make me eager to come back, but that didn't happen on this visit. I could, however, come back. I would give it a second chance and would like to try drinks from the bar.  Overall, Torrence and Knox is a great spot for the ambiance, service, and overall dining experience. If you're looking for a comfortable place to meet friends, enjoy drinks, or have a relaxed night out, it's definitely worth a visit. I'd return for the atmosphere alone and would be interested to try more of the menu in the future.

We were seated pretty quickly, which is always a great start. Our server, Ashlene, was an absolute gem Her sweet personality and warm smile made the whole experience even better. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave some really great recommendations (we love a server who knows their stuff ). We kicked things off with drinks I had the spiced cherry mule, and my husband ordered a margarita--both were genuinely delicious and well-made. For starters, we shared the artisan bread (perfectly done, soft with just the right texture ) and a shrimp cocktail. The only tiny note: the cocktail sauce was a little on the bitter/strong side, so just go easy with it When it came time for the main course, my husband kept it light, but I went with Ashlene's recommendation--the Cajun chicken pasta--and WOW They make their pasta fresh (HELLO YES ), and it was flavorful, creamy, and not dry at all.
