First time visiting. Small indoor area with additional outside seating. Reuben was the best I've had outside of NY tri state area. (Langers in LA excluded). Shrimp and corn chowder was very tasty. Can't wait to try others. Food took maybe 15 minutes to come out after ordering at counter. I will call ahead next time. Order was well-packaged to go. No spillage and every thing hot when I got home. I will try breakfast next time.

no lunch service Saturday through Tuesday also can't get breakfast here on Monday

not really what I'd call "hidden" (flags and signage give away the location) but whatever. fun little snack shack south of down town opened a while back with patio seating available in season. off work today for because and wound up here about 10:30 which is a little late for normal breakfast but a little ahead of regular lunch so just a little awkward... anyway, baked goods on display and bags o' chips on a tree and coffee-n-stuff on the far wall. tables and booths inside but it's a nice day for mid-winter so maybe get a spot out of doors in the sunshine and relax some..? perfect..! took a look at the menus and settled on a sunrise something or other (menu picture didn't picture very well but it's the spendy sammich) plus a hashed brown and topped off my coffee before heading outside to the patio to catch up on my reading... after a bit a young lady comes out with my lunch all wrapped up tight plus a packet of syrups for dripping :-) got everything squared away and secure against the breeze and yep, it's quite the breakfast sandwich: american cheese, runny egg, and sausage on frenched toasts... eats something like a monte cristo except more breakfasty and it mostly fits in your hand so no cutlery needed. it's gonna be a little drippy when you drizzle the syrup on it - even more so with a soft yolk - so forget about taking a snap between bites... and try to not ruin your shirt (or phone/camera) which is hard enough at a proper table and nearly impossible in a moving vehicle, doubly so if driving. am I disappointed about missing actual lunch here? just a tiny bit, but whatcha gonna do? maybe come in during advertised lunch hours? that would probably work...

We stopped here this morning to grab a bagel sandwich. Perfect amount of bagel to fillings and bagels were nice and crispy on outside and chewy on inside. Will definitely come again and again

The inside was decorated in a fun lake theme! Red flag alert: the menu is massive. I'm a firm believer that no kitchen can master everything from A to Z, and Toucan's kind of proves the point. It was "just okay," maybe as much as good but not quite GREAT but the Shrimp Platter actually held its own! The shrimp were huge, well-seasoned, and the rice and beans were a surprising highlight. The real MVP of the night, though, was our waitress. Managing a party of 15 is usually a recipe for disaster, but she was a total pro. Every order was correct, the food arrived hot, and our drinks never hit empty. Go for the lake vibes and the stellar service, stay for the shrimp, but maybe keep your expectations for the rest of that giant menu in check. A solid choice for a big group outing! We would return for sure next time we'll try a !

My husband got the chai cider, the spiced flavor was so amazing it warranted a second pint. We had the Spinach Crab Fondu and the Yuzu Ravioli as appetizers - the cranberry glaze on the ravioli was a delicious touch. I ordered the grilled Chicken Marsala for dinner and really enjoyed the mushroom sauce & potatoes. My husband liked his burger as well. We ended the night with the crème brûlée, which came with fresh strawberries. We were also offered free cookies when we closed out. The manager came by twice to chat, offer recommendations, and ask how everything was - he was very sweet!

We ended up ordering 2 fountain drinks, the spinach crab fondue, the seared scallop appetizer, farmers cobb salad, a caprese avocado panini with onion straws and a side of fries, french onion soup, and the espresso creme brulee. First and foremost, the food came out insanely fast. The seared scallops with creamed corn and pesto was fresh and delightful with a great sear. I do wish they were a bit bigger for the price, but it was a nice starter. The spinach crab fondue was so nice and hot when it came out that it was still bubbling. Strong crab flavor, a good portion size and plenty of fresh chips. The farmers Cobb salad had lots of seasoned fried chicken in it, the greens were fresh and the blue cheese dressing was nice and creamy. It even came with a fresh dinner roll. We advised the server we were going to split the panini and she was nice enough to plate them separately putting the onion straws on one and fries on the other. It wasn't so much a panini as it was just a ciabatta sandwich. The bottom bun was soggy as was the bacon but it was still very cheesy and tasty. The fries were hot and fresh and the onion straws weren't greasy and had a nice crunch. The French onion soup was hot and cheesy and was a nice portion. Could have had a bit more onion, but it hit the spot for the price. The espresso creme brulee was very very delicious. Not too sweet, had a great texture and came with a fresh strawberry, however the top could've been a bit hotter. A great way to end the meal. Overall, the meal was $99, which I think is very reasonable. Food came out quickly, tasted hot and fresh and thats exactly what you'd want on a cold day. Will definitely be back to try other menu options.

The hostess greeted us immediately upon walking in and showed us to our table. Their kids menu is nice and simple (burger, tenders, grilled cheese and even salmon). My kiddos chose the classic chicken tenders and fries. Their meals came out pretty quickly. Each plate came with three large tenders and a very generous amount of fries (which were well seasoned and tasted great). My husband and I started with the Spinach & Artichoke Dip. It was nice and warm and was also a great portion size. It would probably be sufficient for four people to share. The entrees took a while to come out, but in their defense, they got really busy. For my entree, I tried the Shrimp New Orleans. The presentation was great and again, it was a nice side. Although the meal tasted fine, I'm not sure about "the best on the menu". The service was great. All staff members were professional and attentive. The dining room and restrooms were clean. I love the patio and breezeway seating for nice days. Overall, I enjoyed our visit.

My server was amazing as we (Im)patiently waited for him. I ordered the roasted beet tower to start. Finely diced marinated beets with a thin slice of goat cheese topped with mixed greens and a vinaigrette. This dish tasted so fresh! My husband's only complaint was chasing the tiny beets around the plate (first world problems) I chose to have a cup of their creamy chicken soup. No rice, no potato filler - cream based, fresh chicken mushrooms and carrots danced around my mouth. Topped with Gruyère (I think) each bite was like a rich warm hug from grandma Our entrees arrived in a timely manner - him having the ahi tuna poke bowl. He chose to substitute the rice for mixed greens. He devoured the entree and noted the tuna being sweet for the longer sear - his fault, he forgot to ask for it to be cooked extremely rare or done raw, poke style as it was to be a poke bowl which is typically served raw. I chose the harvest bowl. A base of rice and quinoa topped with Brussel sprouts, beets, greens, goat cheese, and butternut squash. I chose to add grilled shrimp. Holy cow. I felt like all of the vegetables were home grown from the chef's garden. Perfectly roasted and seasoned. An impressive rice/quinoa topped vegetable ratio exceeded all expectations!!!
