This is a great place for dinner. The place was packed. The biscuits and raspberry butter was to die for. They only gave us one each but I could eat 3 myself. I had the special that was chicken cordon blue. It was very deconstructed. It was tasty but I wish it was the normal one. The steak tips and mashed potatoes for an appetizer were absolutely delicious! The drink I had was the golden hour. It was soooo good but very strong. Do not get more than one if you don't drink much. I felt that one drink. Husband had the shrimp and grits. They were great and flavorful. Totally recommend this place. It's a hidden gem in town.

Came here for granddaughter's birthday celebration. We made reservations for the 6 of us so we were seated quickly. Service was outstanding from beginning to end, not just from our server but from the hostesses and other wait staff we encountered. The menu was diverse but due to my dairy allergy, I only felt comfortable ordering the Beet Salad with shrimp ( but without feta). It was a large portion and delicious with a vinaigrette on the side. Other family members ordered meatloaf, Bistro Burgers, Ribeye Steaks, and Scallops. We all enjoyed our different meals. Noise level for a bustling Thurs nt was low enough that we didn't have to raise our voices to be heard. The restaurant filled up quickly after 6 pm but our service remained consistently prompt throughout our stay. This was my first time at On the Nines. It was a great choice for a special occasion such as a birthday dinner. I'd love to try their brunch sometime soon.

Came here for my cousin's birthday. My other cousin stumbled up on it on open table. My only complaint is they didnt have any mock-tail options. I am currently not drinking and I asked for a mock-tail menu and the server suggested Orange juice, pineapple, juice and grenadine, essentially a sugar shock punch. Thankfully I used to work in Non-alc so I was able to tell her to make a a mock mule for me. Aside from that, our experience was great. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the shrimp and grits and they were so delicious. My cousins both ordered the ribeye and from the bite I had it was seasoned cooked perfectly. Will call out that this place is in Mooresville on a golf course (that that how you will), with that we still had an amazing night an experience, the staff was really pleasant and helpful.

This is a great brunch spot! The beet and fried goat cheese salad is so good and the portions are huge. One downer- we thought that the salad with salmon was a $6 up charge, taking it from $12 to $18 but it's actually an $18 upgrade. Taking the meal from $12 to $30. I think that could be cleaner on the menu. Otherwise great!

The. Restaurant is one of the best around. They have the best Sunday brunch and the staff is so nice. You totally feel like you are part of the family.

I noticed they also have a stage for live performances, which is a nice touch--I'd love to come back when there's a show. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise, Long Island Iced Tea, and my usual go-to, Liquid Marijuana--all were really good. Each of those drinks was around $14, although I'm not sure if the price ever changes depending on the night or bartender. My partner had what I believe was called Smoke on the Water #3, which tasted great and was somewhere between $8-$11. However, his drink didn't come with the smoky presentation (he had ordered it twice) we later saw a couple get closer to closing time--maybe it was just too busy earlier for them to do that little extra. One thing I really appreciated: no strict dress code. I was wearing a tank top t-shirt and still felt welcome, unlike the bar next door (possibly a dive bar) that turned me away. It's refreshing to find a place with great vibes, strong drinks, and an inclusive atmosphere. They also serve food, though I didn't get to try any this time. I forgot to snap a picture of the menu--sorry! But I'll definitely be back again. This place has good energy, solid drinks, and a chill environment worth returning to.

From load-in onward, management seemed far more concerned with monitoring and restricting the performance than supporting live entertainment. Before the show even began, there were already complaints about potential volume levels simply from seeing the sound equipment and production setup. The band and crew made extensive efforts to accommodate every concern throughout the night. The drummer used hot rods instead of regular sticks, the FOH engineer kept the band under very controlled volume levels, and even the lighting setup was intentionally kept minimal and non-intrusive out of respect for the venue. Despite all of those accommodations, management continued hovering throughout the evening and interrupting over very minor issues. It created an unnecessarily tense atmosphere for both the performers and production crew. Live music requires a certain level of comfort and trust between the venue and the people running the show, and unfortunately that never existed here. In addition, one of the bartenders consistently came across as dismissive and talked down to members of the band and crew during the night. At one point, they stated that this was "a bar that happens to have music," and proceeded to lecture me on how sound works and how customers would not be able to hear each other if the band was too loud. This was particularly frustrating considering the extensive efforts already being made by both the band and audio crew to keep levels controlled and respectful for the room. Everyone involved on the production side remained professional and cooperative throughout the evening, but the overall attitude toward live music and production made the experience unnecessarily stressful. As someone who works behind the scenes to help create a professional live experience, it was disappointing to feel like every aspect of the production was treated as a problem rather than part of the entertainment guests came to see. If a venue only wants extremely quiet background music with little to no production presence, they would likely be better suited booking solo acoustic performers instead of full live bands with sound and lighting support.
