Such a cool addition to Mooresville! I really appreciate the elevated vibe this place brings to the area -- especially the live music! I found the menu to be super unique and definitely appreciated the spin they put on some of the dishes (for example, I've never see roasted tomatoes on a burger nor purple eggs lol). I found the food to taste just decent honestly. I didn't love the cauliflower appetizer; I found it to be pretty bland and the cauliflower seemed undercooked. However, this place is still a great place to grab a drinks and/or food with a very cute vibe!

This place was very well decorated, low lighting (if you like to see your food, I would go a little earlier) the service was superb. We felt very well attended. There were a lot of food options, we couldn't decide. But the best dish was definitely the salmon. Rich in flavor and very well plated. Would definitely come back and try again. It was on the pricey end, but good quality and taste for the price. We came right before the dinner rush and it gets pretty packed for dinner, glad we were able to snag a table.

I'm a sucker for deviled eggs...make them pink, top them with smoked salmon and herbed cream cheese...I'll take two plates, thanks. The crab fritters were a standout, especially dipped in that roasted pecan-honey mustard remoulade. The Paloma fries? A must-order, if only to taste all three of their house-made dipping sauces. The Bocadillo Serranito sandwich is loaded with Serrano ham, Spanish chorizo, and creamy burrata on a crusty baguette...so good, I'd 100% order again. Oh, and the cocktail list? Spot on. They even whipped up an off-menu drink based on my preferences - now that's what I call amazing service!

Love love love this place.... I can't say enough good things. Food is outstanding, along with service. I've been twice now once for brunch on a Sunday, I got the steak and eggs and a a few Paloma drink since they ate half price Sunday. Then went for apps and drinks.., all outstanding.

New restaurant let's start with the decor it's nice and clean. The food is very good we had the bao buns and calamari both very good. Everyone's meal was great. Service was good and timely. Now let's talk the issues they advertise there a cocktails bar the dirty gin martini tasted like olive juice I asked for an extra shot of gin and it made it better. I then ordered a gin and tonic and same thing tasted only tonic I ordered another shot and the drink was fine....ordering the shots helped me understand the issue in NC most bars use 1.5 ounces of liquor be lucky that in both shots that it was even close to an ounce. The prices are competitive so use the right amount of alcohol to make it right.

We enjoyed a delicious Mother's Day brunch at Paloma last month. The service was fast and our food was great! Recently, the Mr and I made a dinner resy and had another yummy meal. The shishitos and Brussels sprouts app is excellent. I opted for the firecracker shrimp wrap, while my husband got the shrimp and grits. Both meals were perfect. Really, the shrimp and grits were 10/10! The grilled baby carrots would have been better with a little more salt.

it's floral she said... not sweet, but floral after the dude took a blowtorch to my pretty purple cocktail and after the smokey bubble burst the lady nextdoor asked me if my fizz was 'sweet'? as if I knew... clueless, I slid it over for her assessment and after a sip she pronounced it "floral" I'd started with a house gimlet and moved into a pile of paloma fries and the lavender fizz because, well, you know... gin :-\ the barkeep has an honest hand and the pours are favorable so it's just a question of taste at this point and it tastes pretty okay. mostly no one here when I walked in but the day was barely over - high ceilings, a long J-bar with plenty of windows and warmth and light. the place slowly filled and stayed busy through two cocktails and a precautionary glass of icy waters getting a little noisy as the post-soccer moms met for wine and rosés and shareables. the acoustic stylings of chris m. filled in the quiet parts nicely with renditions of early stones, harry nilsson, and samplings of softer rock staples from my misspent youth. I'm short a slab of apricot glazed pork loin on a fresh biscuit plus frittata but with a nod to the man in black on a sodden thursday night: it feels like sunday morning coming down.

The outdoor patio was inviting and comfortable with fresh flowers adorning the center of the table. The service and food were very good.

Stopped by for brunch with my daughter. Had mimosas, salmon deviled eggs to start, very good. Then came burrata, brisket burger, and shrimp and grits, all well-seasoned and tasty. Highly recommend!

We tried Paloma tonight for the first time and it was excellent! Beautiful interior with plants and well executed lighting. Gorgeous bar, curved to match the exterior windows. Open kitchen concept with cute furniture. Cocktails were wonderful, we tried the coconut guava Paloma and the Boat driver. For food we had the saffron meatballs with potatoes and beans, pork belly bao buns, and calamari. They were all excellent. Live the spicy honey on the calamari and the execution of the bao bun was great. Saffron meatball sauce was so good. Can't wait to try more things!

I noticed they also have a stage for live performances, which is a nice touch--I'd love to come back when there's a show. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise, Long Island Iced Tea, and my usual go-to, Liquid Marijuana--all were really good. Each of those drinks was around $14, although I'm not sure if the price ever changes depending on the night or bartender. My partner had what I believe was called Smoke on the Water #3, which tasted great and was somewhere between $8-$11. However, his drink didn't come with the smoky presentation (he had ordered it twice) we later saw a couple get closer to closing time--maybe it was just too busy earlier for them to do that little extra. One thing I really appreciated: no strict dress code. I was wearing a tank top t-shirt and still felt welcome, unlike the bar next door (possibly a dive bar) that turned me away. It's refreshing to find a place with great vibes, strong drinks, and an inclusive atmosphere. They also serve food, though I didn't get to try any this time. I forgot to snap a picture of the menu--sorry! But I'll definitely be back again. This place has good energy, solid drinks, and a chill environment worth returning to.

From load-in onward, management seemed far more concerned with monitoring and restricting the performance than supporting live entertainment. Before the show even began, there were already complaints about potential volume levels simply from seeing the sound equipment and production setup. The band and crew made extensive efforts to accommodate every concern throughout the night. The drummer used hot rods instead of regular sticks, the FOH engineer kept the band under very controlled volume levels, and even the lighting setup was intentionally kept minimal and non-intrusive out of respect for the venue. Despite all of those accommodations, management continued hovering throughout the evening and interrupting over very minor issues. It created an unnecessarily tense atmosphere for both the performers and production crew. Live music requires a certain level of comfort and trust between the venue and the people running the show, and unfortunately that never existed here. In addition, one of the bartenders consistently came across as dismissive and talked down to members of the band and crew during the night. At one point, they stated that this was "a bar that happens to have music," and proceeded to lecture me on how sound works and how customers would not be able to hear each other if the band was too loud. This was particularly frustrating considering the extensive efforts already being made by both the band and audio crew to keep levels controlled and respectful for the room. Everyone involved on the production side remained professional and cooperative throughout the evening, but the overall attitude toward live music and production made the experience unnecessarily stressful. As someone who works behind the scenes to help create a professional live experience, it was disappointing to feel like every aspect of the production was treated as a problem rather than part of the entertainment guests came to see. If a venue only wants extremely quiet background music with little to no production presence, they would likely be better suited booking solo acoustic performers instead of full live bands with sound and lighting support.

Started out at Total Wine and More in Birkdale and scored 4 bottles. Next tried Wine Maestro and despite the fact that it was 11:30am, there were no cars in the parking lot, lights were off and doors locked. Went to Olive Garden for lunch and while I was there, I called the store. Someone answered and I asked if they were open, and they said yes and they had been there from the time the store opened. Explained I what I was looking for as well. I explained that I had been there 30 to 45 minutes earlier and the lights were off, doors locked and no cars in the lot. The gentleman on the other end of the line said I was wrong and besides, they don't carry the Biltmore Wine. I don't like dealing with this type of untruthfulness.
