What a wonderful place to grab a glass of wine and a charcuterie board!! It was busy for a Saturday night but we were still able to grab a table for our party of 5. This place is so cute with a lot of seating! I would highly recommend coming here to grab a drink before going to dinner!

This is now our "go to" place after boating for a nice glass of wine and snacks! Cozy, comfortable, and warm, it just feels so nice sitting inside the cottage sipping a glass of wine with family and friends! We are already looking forward to our visit next summer! And a shout out to Theresa, she was just great, helping us with seating, wine, and just general hospitality!

Just arrived and ready to partake!!!!!!!

What a FABULOUS day!!! Started the day in an empty place and when we left the place was PACKED! This place is a wonderful way to start, spend, or end a day lakeside. The wine selection is good, as is the selection of various meats, cheeses, and snacks. I love the concept of indoor or outdoor seating and letting people just meet and sip. They have bottles of wines from around the world, very limited single glass selections, but you can take the remaining bottle with you, so no worries!!! Amy was AMAZING! Extremely knowledgeable and attentive. TRY THIS PLACE if you are on the south side of the lake.

What a gem! Met a couple of girlfriends for wine after work. She comes here often and it's not often I get an opportunity to venture outside Charlotte so this wine cottage was a very welcome change of scenery. The cottage is located next door to the North Harbor Club. Every room is decorated entirely different and 3 areas have a table which can also be reserved for your group. We sat at the large square room at the back door entrance. I didn't snap a picture because as soon as we got up, 4 more people quickly sat down. It seems to be the cottage favorite. There is a lazy susan in the middle where the hostess places the snacks. This room and the one next to it display the wine for purchase to drink on site or take home. Beer is also available. Every room is surrounded with displays of gifts available for purchase. They do not have a full kitchen but provide things like charcuterie, gourmet cheeses and other light bites. I can't wait to come back, especially when it's warmer to sit outside and look at the lake.

We stopped in while we were waiting for our table to next door. The service was quick and plenty of options for wines to drink. It's a very dog friendly place and you can sit outside with your fur family member out front.

Tired with traffic on 77, took a detour and found this corner housed a nice restaurant and wine bar. This wine bar has decent selections and fair price. Great happy hour gathering place

I visited LNC for a wine tasting sponsored by Jazz Diva Events. What a pleasant surprise! The place has a whimsical feel with a wide assortment of wine accessories for sale that provide decoration until sold. The evening was lovely, as was the view of the lake. LNC was reserved for our event which made it more intimate as people were not coming and going. There are five rooms available for seating with tables/chairs, sofas, and comfortable sitting chairs. The tasting included five wines (two white, three red) with a 2.5 oz pour (about 2 glasses total) with a tapas and small plates (appetizer, entree, and dessert). If you really didn't like white or red, you could stay with the color of your preference. The music system was set to an appropriate level so that conversations could be held at a normal tone. Although there was a musician present to play for the event, I was not able to hear him as he was set up in the front room. I am giving the Cottage five stars because the ambience, service, wine, and food was delightful and price was affordable, even on the lake! The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable about the wines being served. In addition, their merchandise prices are comparable. LNC is a great place to host a girls get together or a small gathering for friends. I am already looking forward to my next visit to LNC.

Stopped by for my first time the other night and I know I'll be back. My husband and I had some free time and thought a glass of wine by the lake would be nice. Time to check out the Cottage...! If you like wine, you'll be like a kid in a candy shop when you walk in. Wine, wine everywhere! There were some people there, already enjoying their wine and the employee stepped up and asked us what we were looking for. It was a hot night so we opted for a white. She knew her wines and eventually recommended an awesome Pinot Grigio (I usually avoid them - turns out I was drinking the wrong ones!). She poured our wine and we went outside to enjoy the evening. She quickly brought out some pretzels to munch on and checked on us a couple times. Great service! After we finished the glass, she bagged the remainder of our bottle and home we went. Great place and we'll be back!! Next time, with friends!

Seaboy absolutely delivered. From the outside, the building is understated and looks more like it belongs near the beach at Oak Island. Once you step inside, however, it is clean, classy, well-appointed, and charmingly coastal without being overly themed or tacky. It feels like the premium restaurant it is. We didn't make reservations because we arrived at 4:30 on a Friday and never expected the place to be completely slammed that early. Jackie, the hostess, took our name and phone number and promised to call as soon as something opened at the bar. Since there wasn't much room to wait inside, she encouraged us to relax in our car. Sure enough, about 15 minutes later, she called and made sure we got the first two available seats. Samantha, the bartender, was both an excellent server and a talented mixologist. She was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, somehow keeping up with all the drinks for the dining room without allowing anyone at the bar to feel ignored. I told her I wasn't much of a drinker but gave her the name of a liquor I enjoy. She created her own cocktail for me, and it was a solid 10 out of 10. Could I walk in and order that exact drink again? Probably not. Would I trust her to surprise me again in a heartbeat? Absolutely. My wife started with a shrimp appetizer that she said may have been the best shrimp she has ever eaten. I had the Caesar salad, which was the only part of the meal that was merely okay. It was beautifully presented, generously portioned, properly dressed, and topped with excellent cheese. Unfortunately, the dressing lacked the bold, savory punch I expect from a great Caesar. Our entrées, however, were phenomenal. I ordered the swordfish, and it was so good that my wife essentially took it over because she liked it even more than the seafood pasta special she had ordered. Fortunately, her rich, cheesy seafood creation was outstanding, so I was perfectly happy with the trade. I polished off her meal, then finished whatever swordfish she left behind! We ended with the deconstructed Key lime pie. It was flavorful and enjoyable, although, like the Caesar, I felt it could have used just a little more refinement. At one point, the chef and owner came out to the bar, shook our hands, introduced himself, and thanked us for coming. He stayed for a little friendly conversation, which was a genuinely nice and personal touch. Those minor critiques aside, the service, food quality, atmosphere, and hospitality were all excellent. Seaboy has immediately become one of our favorite choices for a premium meal, and the overall experience was absolutely five out of five. We will definitely be back soon. To those about to nosh, we salute you!

I ordered the pork belly bao buns, but they missed the mark for me. Coming from NY, I'm used to bao buns being marshmallow-soft and pillowy, but these were a hard, and the pork belly itself was quite tough. Our wonderful waitress noticed I only took one bite and brought the manager over. He explained that the cut is naturally mostly fat, which I understand, but the texture just wasn't quite right because it should be tender not tough. I declined a replacement dish, and he kindly credited it on our bill, though the interaction felt a little awkward. My husband's salmon unfortunately had a very heavy mustard flavor. The spinach farrotto underneath was quite salty. Since there isn't a kids menu which is fine, my daughter ordered the burger plain, but it wasn't really a hit for her. My coconut guava Paloma was okay definitely the best part of my meal though it tasted a little artificial. The ambiance has a lot of potential, and they had live music playing. However, it was a bit too loud for the space, forcing guests to raise their voices just to speak to each other. We also noticed our table hadn't been wiped down thoroughly before we sat down. The absolute silver lining of our evening was our waitress. She was incredibly sweet, highly attentive, and took great care of us. She is truly the reason I am giving 3 stars. She mentioned that they offer a completely different menu for brunch. Because the setting is so pretty and the service was so good, we might give them another chance for brunch down the road, but we likely wouldn't return for dinner. The shrimp wrap, however, was disappointing. The menu offers unique flavors and creative combinations, but in this dish, there seemed to be more emphasis on presentation and concept than substance.

So we decided that we were going to give it a try. After looking at a menu and being approached by the host who gave us a brief introduction to the menu we were in for sure. We were informed later by our excellent server, Ashlee that there is also seating upstairs! We forgot to take a tour! The decor is very chic, but not overly done. We were seated at a table, but booths are available as well. Even the women's restroom with chic. It needed to be picked up a bit but was nice. Our server Ashlee was excellent! Her upbeat personality and friendliness was in the 10 rating! For only being at the restaurant a couple of weeks I think her vibes will keep bringing customers back. I had the Chicken Panini and the companion (side dish) I selected was the Pan Fried Corn. Both very good! We did order shareables too! The Southwest egg rolls and the Charcuterie Board. We were very happy with both! I would definitely order them again. I ordered two alcoholic drinks. My first drink was called the Bees Knees (ginger, honey, lemon bourbon) and an Espresso Martini. Both were good. The ginger was very mild in the Bees Knees. We were quite full so we were not able to enjoy our desserts at the restaurant but did order them to go. We ordered the Crème Brûlée and Key Lime Cheesecakes to go. I enjoyed the Key Lime, a good balance of sweet and tart. A little perfumme for me but still good. The feedback on the Crème Brûlée, was ok.
