Found a great spot tucked behind a neighborhood in Denver. From the outside it's a steel building that could be any industrial office but don't let looks fool you. There's a large patio, live music some nights, and a ton of beer, seltzers, and ciders. The environment is very relaxed and family friendly. Went with some local friends as this is near their house. Came on a Sunday during the day and place was not very busy. Staff was awesome, letting us sample some beers. Tried all three pumpkin offerings, all at 7.3% were very good. Purchased various items from the gift shop. Had a great time and will definitely go back. Love the no frills ambiance. Lake Norman Brewing is a quaint little brewery with ample seating both inside and out. The outdoor patio area is flush with a wooded backdrop, lots of picnic table seating, heating lamps, and a couple of fire pits; so if you are looking for an outdoorsy spot to sample your brews, while still able to keep warm, this is it! Friday Nights with NORM- man brewery - are awesome. Those from the 80's will get that joke. Always lots of neighbors, live music, and good beer. LKN Brewery has a constantly rotating list of brews, wines available as well as some sweet kombuchas. Check their Facebook page for updates on food trucks in the parking lot or bring your own food. They have a sign up list online if you're a local and want their weekly newsletter sent to your inbox. Not a long read but. Nice breakdown of what they have to offer (corn hole tourneys, line dancing, bands, run club, etc). Took my sister tonight, Tuesday. We were very disappointed dry . We arrived a little before 7pm. The food truck "Dusk to Dawn"was out of hamburgers (their speciality) and chicken! Hoped to do game night but they pulled a few people inside, we were outside, it was a beautiful night! And no attempt was made to have others join game night. This is a nice tucked away brewery! We came for a good atmosphere and great drinks and that's what we got! The employee working the bar was so kind. We asked a lot of questions and she had no problem answering all of them. She had great customer service! We decided to sit inside because the picnic tables outside were wet from the rain. They have a lot of outside seating and some of the tables have umbrellas. They also have fire pit areas! The inside consists of many tables and they have an upstairs as well. The bathrooms were clean. My mom and I got the guava cider and we enjoyed it! My father got the stout beer and he enjoyed it as well. We will definitely be coming back! read more

What a glorious day to be at this brewery! The weather was AMAZING, the beer was great, and the hot dog, food truck made the day! I really enjoyed spending a couple hours sitting on the picnic tables and wandering over to the huge fire pit... Service and atmosphere is great. Always some type of entertainment going on. Great food trucks, and good cold beer.

Good beer selection for every palette. Only complaint is it wasn't cold enough to my liking but maybe that was for a reason. Bub's Grub food truck and cornhole tournament was going and they had a large crowd. They had an amazing outdoor firepit and plenty of seating. Will visit again soon! read more

Traveled quite a ways for this beer but we had a great time! Lake Norman brewery hosted a car show over the weekend and my dad and I had a blast. We enjoyed a cold beer in the warm tap room. The bartenders were nice and made great selections. I have the lager and he had a brown ale. Both were delicious! Can't wait to come back for another car show. read more

My wife and I decided to go to the Lake Norman Brewery on Saturday night. We had our visit to this brewery, earlier in the week. This brewery is less than a year old but is brewing some exceptional beer. They have a good selection of wine and hard kombucha, along with their own beers on tap. Its hard not to find an enjoyable adult beverage at this establishment. But if you're really into craft beer, then this is a place to try. LNB is not serving hot food at this time but they have food trucks that are very enjoyable. There were two food trucks, Saturday night. One serving lobster rolls (soooo good) and a dumpling food truck. We tried dumplings made with sweet potato, covered in sesame seed, and deep fried. They disappeared in a hurry. In addition, the brewery has some very goos snacks for sale. I would recommend the jalapeno pop corn. There are tables inside plus seats at the bar and in front of the glass front to the brewing tanks. There are large tables outside and there were a few folks with their well-haved dogs, outside last night. We didn't know they would have a singer and guitar player for entertainment. That was a pleasant surprise. They were easy to listen to and kept the decibels down enough so people inside could talk. There were outdoor speakers so you could listen to the music while drinking outside or ordering from one of the food trucks. This establishment is off of Triangle Circular and Business 16, in the Denver, NC area. Very enjoyable experience. read more

The beer is great and the environment is even better but you won't get to experience that if you miss the tiny sign at the side of the road, like I did on my first visit. If you don't see this minuscule sign you will think your GPS has taken you to a vacant lot with a billboard. Parking needs to be expanded. I understand they are new but which how popular breweries are I would think ample parking to be a priority. They also need to keep their website up to date with events and food trucks. They may have food trucks every night but their online calendar shows nothing after the beginning of July. I'll give them another shot but I'll make sure to bring big spray with me. read more

My rating is reflected by my most recent visit. My wife and I were hoping to have a relaxing beer around 4:30 on a Friday before the crowd shows up. To our surprise there were a number of children outside. It started off as a few but after some time I counted at least 18 children running around screaming, jumping on everything, balls bouncing all over the place... it was ridiculous. I get it if a place wants to be family friendly but this was just too much for us. The last thing I want to hear on a Friday while drinking beer and after a week of working is a bunch commotion from children. I've been here dozens of times and never seen it like this. Maybe it was bring you toddler to the pub day? My wife and I had one beer and couldn't wait to leave. We aren't necessarily anti-kid people as we have a kid of our own and know what it's like to have a child and responsibility that comes with that. However, when we go to drink beer we sure don't bring him along because we consider it an adult only affair. One more thing is the dogs. Why everyone feels the need to bring dogs baffles me to no end. Especially ones that bark at each other. This happened as well while we were there. Everyone outside stopped talking and looked in the direction of the dog commotion. Probably with concern over a dangerous animal doing something that might harm someone. Whatever the case, it was disruptive. It's unfortunate to leave this review as we absolutely love this place and the excellent beer they provide. The beer is always good! Very consistent. The atmosphere outside is usually fantastic but this last time really rubbed us the wrong way. If it weren't for this last visit I would totally give this place 5 stars. Their beer is fantastic and the owner/operators are very nice and polite. Also the atmosphere, other than the kiddy day care, is really good. read more

We went to see one of our favorite bands, Southern Style, this past Saturday night. If I'm just rating the beer and the music, it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, there were almost as many kids there as adults. Which in itself isn't bad, but none of them were being supervised. They were running all around the tables, playing on the stage and even climbing trees on the property. It made the evening stressful rather than relaxing. I'm hoping the management can address this problem. read more

Lake Norman Brewery seems to be more of a day care than a bar. A couple of times tonight the band had to stop playing due to all the little kids doing cart wheels in front of the band. The ratio of children to adults in this place is 3 to 1. All of the kids ran around unsupervised, no one watch them tear havoc through the bar and court yard. This could be a really nice bar with its food truck selection and really good beer, however the amount of unsupervised children is a real turn off. read more

I loved this brewery! So many choices, I couldn't try them all! Came here on a Friday evening. It was lively but not too crowded - plenty of space to sit inside and out. My favorite was the Trident Pale Ale followed by the West Cove IPA. I'm not into sours and ciders, but they had that too, as well as wine for the non-beer drinkers. LNB has a great location tucked down off the road which gives you that "out in the country" feel yet very close to old 16 and new 16. They have a nice outdoor space which looks to be expanding. They had live music the night I visited and two food trucks. The beer selection was great. Partial to IPA's, there were several to pick from. The only negative I can say about the place is there was no social distancing enforced inside where you had to stand in line to buy your favorite beverage and no one was wearing a mask, not even the bar staff this particular night. I felt sorry for those sitting inside to eat as the line wrapped around those folks. read more
