I had a great time here with my friends and we participated in the CMLibrary 3rd annual spelling bee! I'm a word nerd and love pub trivia, spelling bees, and other similar events, so when I saw a post about a spelling bee here, I jumped on it! About 30 min north of downtown, this place is tucked away in a shopping center/complex but it's got a great vibe and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating available. There's a pickleball net and a couple other lawn games. Unfortunately, it was downpouring most of the evening we visited, but the bee continued inside. I ordered a couple glasses of bubbles (they have mimosa flights too, maybe I'll try that next time) and enjoyed my evening catching up with friends and, of course, spelling. There was a food truck available (chicken tenders, sandwiches etc) and I think you can also order stuff to be delivered too. Service was nice, prices reasonable. All in all, I had an awesome experience and would definitely come back, especially for next year's bee, but hopefully before then as well! @azfitfoodfun read more

Like Beer? Then this is your spot! They also gave wine mimosas and sangrias too! The place is huge and has what seems like reservable areas for large groups! The waitstaff was super friendly and you can tell it's a local fave for huntersville residents! Folks would come in and the staff knew their names asked about family etc! Gotta love that! read more

We booked a semi-private event here on a Friday night and it was perfect! We needed a chill place to host welcome drinks for my sister's wedding and Neoteric knocked it out of the park. The bartenders were so kind to us and the energy of the bar was excellent! There happened to be a guitarist performing that night too, which was an added bonus! read more

The Charlotte area has lots of breweries. Ok actually the entire state has lots of breweries. Well, actually the entire US does. Anyhow, I love a good brewery but when there are so many around it's easy to find low quality ones. Neoteric is a great find! They have lots of parking so even when it's busy you can park. They have lots of restaurants around that you can bring food in from or they have food trucks all the time right there at the brewery. The beer and service are good and they do a great trivia night each week. read more

Fantastic beers and a good variety. You'll fnd more than just a bunch of variations on hazy IPA here, including lagers, stouts, sours, fruited beers and, yes, a good hazy IPA or two, among others. The staff and the vibes are all good too! read more

A few of us stopped in to grab a beer after a soccer game and had a fun time. I ordered a flight (you get to choose 4 4oz beers for $11) then had a half pour. I chose the Glass Stratacaster, Emily's IPA, West on I-40 and Gourd Luck Charm. The beers were all good. Cheers! read more

I have been twice and have had a great experience both times. I enjoyed the beverages and live music. Furthermore, I hosted a special event in the small event space and it was a 10/10 experience. The communication with Alex was superb. Gabe, Sarah, and Andy were there the night of the event and were so great. We def will be back! read more

The service here was great. They were friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a flight so I could try a variety of their beers. Even as a dark beer drinker, Lavender Lane was my favorite. It was light, smooth, and refreshing. Mr. Finnegan, the stout, had a lot of coffee flavor. I enjoyed that live music was playing. There was a fun and casual atmosphere and a food truck outside. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside. Beer was available in cans so you can take your favorite beers home. There were also shirts for sale. I am glad I found this brewery. It was a great place to relax on a hot day. I will definitely return the next time we visit this area. read more

NEW BREWERY ALERT!! Neoteric just opened up over the last couple of weeks. Currently, only open on Fri-Sun until they get fully up and running with all of their brews. But their current beers are pretty good! They have a selection of lagers, ales and IPAs to choose from and offer single glasses to flights. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. They offer you samples if you're unsure of what you like. Inside is pretty nice as well. There is plenty of seating and a room that can be sectioned off for private use. There are some benches outside for seating as well. Additionally, you can see the fermentation tanks right from the tap room. It's pretty neat! Neoteric is located off Gilead Road in Huntersville, in the Rosedale area - right behind the Exxon gas station. Plenty of parking in a designated lot and tons amenities all around (gas, grocery, etc). L Definitely stop in and try the brews! read more

Gave a 2 for the beer itself. I want to go lower but I feel there is potential... I want to clarify that the staff is 5 stars! Super friendly, and knowledgeable. Please tip them well! The beer is very underwhelming for Charlotte. All are just not quite there yet in flavor and profile. I am hoping as time progresses they begin to develop an identity and find footing in the Charlotte craft beer community. I want to like the beer but it all is just not great. It is great as a home brew... but not as a brewery. Need more from this place and I hope they grow into what I think they could be. read more

My husband and I took our two small kids out for an early dinner and were excited to try a new local brewery. We were glad to see this space being used again because it had been empty for a while. The interior is fun with lots of seating, plenty of games and TVs, and nice bathrooms. Great variety of beer styles, and they offer 4 samples in a flight. I enjoyed trying some that I wouldn't have wanted a pint of myself. The smoky red was as described, we loved the IPA, and stout. We'll be back to double check ;-), and see what's new! Food comes from Killington's, which is next door. We ordered dinner through the QR code on the table tent, which took about an hour on a Friday night (not surprising). Killington's delivers the food (if you follow the instructions) to Neoteric on a table by the front door. Everything was hot and delicious! Our two year old even liked his meal, and quietly learned Connect Four. read more

Visited last night for a friend's bday party. It was my second visit and we had a great time. The staff was friendly and service was prompt. The bartender with the long hair dipped his hair in my beer twice, but I didn't mind. He was super chill. He even insisted on giving me a free round which was appreciated. When they stopped serving at 9:30 they were kind enough to sell us a 4 pack Togo. They also educated us on some ABC laws about taking beer home which was not only educational but enlightening. The owner came to personally thank us for our visit which was super rad. He was so grateful for our business I think he was moved to tears which was unexpected but felt very appropriate in the moment. read more

People who live in the city sometimes are quick to write off the suburbs as boring with little to do. If you're willing to make the trip down the high way there are gems to be found. An example is Neoteric Brewing located in a shopping center in Huntersville, NC. The first thing I noticed upon parking was the generous along of outdoor seating among a spacious greenway complete with outdoor games to enjoy on a nice day. There was also a food truck conveniently located on sight which I will be sure to review separately, but the burgers were fantastic. Inside is a bright and spacious taproom with plenty of large tables, high tops, and bar space to accommodate all different group sizes. They also have a more private room behind barn doors that can be closed or left open. We happened in on trivia night and the emcee did a great job. They added all kinds of props and bonuses to make it a unique trivia experience. I sampled a couple different beers until I found one that was more my taste, their Czech Pilsner. They also offered seltzers for the non beer lovers and non alcoholic options as well. Overall this was a nice place to spend the evening and I would certainly return for the trivia. read more
