Been coming here for about 6 months. It's a home away from home and honestly, everyone is welcome. It's like Cheers with beer and wine and awesome conversations. Everyone here is family and David runs a tight ship. You aren't going to find a lot of mainstream NC/CLT brews here but beer from all over the US. It's clean, there are games, family friendly, and I think there is a shower upstairs if you piss your pants. Highly Recommend. read more

It's smaller joint but has a great atmosphere and is in a cool,old restored brick building near/in old town Cornelius. Really cute spot just a little north of Charlotte. Away from the city chaos, but there are still a lot of little shops nearby and plenty of activity. This place is super folky and rustic--like somewhere The Avett Brothers should be eternally playing in the background. There's a wide selection of drafts (I think I counted 16) and tons of bottles to choose from (beer, wine, cider, etc). This place does not offer liquor yet, but I was told that the upstairs will soon be converted into a bourbon bar (with other liquors to choose from, as well). We came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was fairly busy, with a nice mix of people. The bartender, David (who is also a co-owner), is sweet and attentive. All around, a super friendly, quaint environment that's almost...coffee shop vibes but with alcohol! read more
