We had such a fun time at the Christmas pop up at Latitudes! Our bartender Kara was amazing and so sweet. The decorations are perfectly over the top for the holiday season. My friend and I ordered the Christmapolitan, a delicious spiced vodka-based drink that warranted a second order. My husband had the Snowball Old Fashioned, which had a great cinnamon sugar flavor. Our party also tried the Bourbon Cherry Sour from their regular menu and it was good as well. For food, we got a pimento cheeseburger and chicken, bacon, ranch flatbread with tater tots - everything was delivered in a timely manner and tasted great. read more

Great spot! I frequented this spot during COVID when restaurants were first allowed to reopen and really enjoyed it. Fast forward and they appeared on Bar Rescue and the place got a complete makeover! Great island vibe inside with great food and drinks to match. We went with their house cab which was half off. It was a Chilean cab which I'd never had before, but loved it. For food, we got the Mahi Mahi bites. These things were amazing, they routinely sell out of them daily, but they are so worth it. My mom and I split the Jerk Chicken wings which carried heat, but not too overbearing. Just the right amount, I prefer spicier, but I'm not too picky. My brother got a pizza flatbread and loved it as well. The service is always great too, the owners are there daily checking in on everyone. Great family owned place! read more

We had tried to dine here last Sunday but unfortunately the yelp listing had not been updated and it still showed them open on Sunday. Due to Covid, for the time being, they are closed on Sunday. I think they have subsequently updated their listing. Therefore, we went yesterday. A bit disappointed at first because I had talked myself into Sushi but they only have Sushi after 4pm on Friday and Saturday when they have a Sushi Chef come in for the Sushi. It's a little hard to find because it's in a small strip mall. Used to be a travel agency called Sweet Destinations that branched out and started selling sandwiches to their customers. You can still book a tour here but with Covid and travel restrictions, that is a very small part of their business and you have to ask. Walked in and were promptly seated and presented with menu's. Not an expansive menu but we found out that everything was well prepared. They had meatloaf on the menu both as a plate and as a sandwich. My wife is a Yankee and prefers her meatloaf with gravy as opposed to either ketchup or a tomato glaze more common here in the South. Still she loves her Philly Cheese Steak so she ordered that with side of Tater Tots. She proclaimed the Philly Cheese Steak as one of the best she had ever had. Tater Tots are always problematic because all to often, the come out soggy and oily due to improper cooking temperature. Not the case here. Came out perfectly crispy with no hint of oiliness. I ordered the Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with a side of Italian Pasta. Buffalo Chicken Sandwich can also be problematic. Suppose to have a bit of heat and too often, whoever prepares the sandwich, since heat is the criterion, it's way too hot and there is so much hot sauce, the chicken slides out of the sandwich and get's messy. Not the case here. Spicy yes with a good heat level but not sloppy. Chicken was nice and Crispy as ordered. The tomato on the sandwich was a surprise. This time of year (Feb) when you order something with a tomato on it, you normally end up with something with the taste and texture of cardboard. Not the case, here either. The tomato was very good and while not what I could pull from my garden in August, could only be considered excellent. They pay attention to the quality of their ingredient. The Italian Pasta Salad was excellent. Susan and I have already decided that next Saturday, we're going back after 4 pm so I can try the Sushi. Looking forward to it. It's worth the effort to find the place and explore the menu. Even talked to owner about booking an Alaskan Cruise sometime in the future. read more

It's been a while since we have been here. The food was great. My only issue was my drink. Since I can't have alcohol, I sometimes order a Mocktail with my meal. The drink was good, but not the price. Most restaurants I have been charge a Mocktail the same as tea, or a soft drink. Twelve dollar for 6 ounces of juice is ridiculous. Too bad, food was good but just can't get pasted the overpriced 6 ounces of juice. May be a long time before we try to go back. read more

Completely terrible experience both times we ordered Door Dash from them. The first time we order it was wrong. We ate it but it wasn't what we ordered. The second time, I was not given ann incorrect order. It was completely wrong and I could not eat it. I called them to ask for a refund and was met with subpar service from all three employees with whom I spoke. The woman who answered the phone told me, twice, that my concern was above her pay grade. The manager on duty was completely unable to help me and requested that I wait until his manager came in to have my concern addressed. His manager (possibly the owner but I am unsure of this) did not want to hear my concerns and dismissed my reports of terrible service I received from his staff. The manager didn't apologize for any of the errors. After an hour of communication with this establishment, the manager told me I had to contact Door Dash. The MOD should have been able to tell me this. Poor, poor management and training of staff. read more

My good luck - I wanted to try them today, wanted a burger. Turns out on Tuesdays they include a free milkshake with burgers - awesome!!! The ambiance is very relaxing and interesting; the restaurant is exquisitely clean and airy. They did a GREAT job with the remodeling. I had the cheeseburger which looked small when they served it but it was VERY (surprisingly) filling and quite delicious. Jayda, the server, was very friendly and thorough and quick to bring things on request. I'll be back. I have a women's lunch group and I'm going to bring the lot back here with me soon. Latitudes is in a strip mall in Denver that a lot of people seem to forget about. Big mistake! This is really a great place to eat. I met a friend for lunch Thursday because we'd heard the Philly cheese steaks were good. That's what my friend got, and she was not disappointed. The peppers were pretty big and still crunchy. It was a generous portion of meat and very cheesy. I had the Cuban sandwich, and it was delicious. Plenty of shredded smoked pork and ham on this sandwich. And HUGE. We both ordered half sandwiches, and couldn't finish them. I ordered fries with mine and they were crispy crinkle fries, my favorite! My friend ordered the Italian pasta salad as her side which was very flavorful and the noodles weren't over cooked. Our server was attentive and helpful, showing up at just the right time to get us more drinks, but allowing us time to talk. The restaurant was spacious, with plenty of seating and clean. If you are looking for a great place to grab lunch, even a working lunch this place fits the bill. Being so close to my office, I can see myself eating here often. read more

This used to be Sweet Destinations: A Travel Cafe and it is still owned by the same travel agent and still has the Sweet Destinations sign on the outside. I was a fan of the old incarnation snd was curious about what's changed. It now features a bar. It is now open for dinner and the evenings. It's now closed in the mornings. Table service now. Prices higher but just by a little. Same nice folks. Very similar menu but less cold cut sandwiches. The They need to change the outside sign and change and claim the new business and announce the old one is closed. I hit them started by finding and locating this new business! I came across these guys and their "Hometown Rochester NY Night on Facebook, and decided to check them out. To be honest, I wasn't overly impressed when walking up after an almost 1 hour drive to get there from Ft. Mill. It is in a retail space next to a Sheriff's office. High and low top tables inside but very little ambiance. The servers were quite prompt and very friendly, and an owner came by and introduced herself and chatted for a few minutes. She was very nice and hard working the whole time we were there. My disappointment is primarily due to the menu. Their Rochester Garbage plate special was nothing like those that I have actually eaten in Rochester, NY at places like Nick Tahoe's. No Sahlen's hot dogs, no Beef on Weck, no wings either. Zweigle's red and white hots were about it. Although they did have Labatt Blue beer, that was about it, and it wasn't even on the menu,- you had to ask for it. Had a reservation made days in advance for the Christmas pop-up, we were told the reservation didn't exist and we must have made a mistake when we tried to reserve a table. After showing proof of the reservation the hostess still refused to seat us and tried to insinuate that the screenshot of the reservation confirmation was faked. She told us we could go stand near the bar and people would eventually leave and they would try to get us a table but it would likely be several hours. Stopped in for a late lunch. The food and service were outstanding. I had their mushroom swiss burger. Hands down one of the best burgers I've had.
