Small, clean cafe with friendly staff, diverse and interesting breakfast menu with diner style food that is above average. I recommend this cafe in Denver, NC. Food is reasonable and the fruit was fresh!

A small diner that serves delicious foods. Not really suitable for larger groups but they accommodated us.

This was our first visit to Sunrise Cafe, and I truly believe that five stars it's not enough. Every bit of the food was excellent. The service was super friendly and on point with a total team effort in terms of checking in on us, warming up our coffee, etc. I had the corned beef hash with two perfect over easy eggs and a side of sausage links because... well just because. My wife had a traditional Eggs Benedict and we had to try a piece of French toast as a side. That last comment brings me to one more five star point. It seems like you can get almost everything on the menu as a side, which allows a lot of creativity to mix and match to get exactly what you want. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Local restaurant in Denver. Friendly server. I appreciated the sign on the door...."short staffed, please be kind to those who showed up". I ordered the 2 egg platter. Two eggs anyway you like, hash browns , choice of meat and toast or grits I am picky when it comes to hash browns and I like mine extra crispy, and they were . My husband ordered the build your omelette It was fluffy and great Our server Anna was upbeat and attentive to everyone in the cafe. Prices are a bit high for breakfast...$46.00 for two people.

Tried this restaurant for the first time today and for a first time, it was OK. Torn between 3 and 4 stars however. Arrived at about 11 am on a rainy Saturday Morning and were promptly seated and given menu's. No one came to even acknowledge us much less take our beverage order for 10 minutes. Our server finally came and took our beverage order. I ordered black coffee and my wife ordered Cappuccino. Came out in about 5 minutes but no one took our order and we even had one server come by and refill my coffee before anyone took out order. I ordered the Country Fried Steak with Hash Browns and Eggs over well. My wife orders a Farmers Pot Pie over Hash Browns as her Breakfast. Took awhile for breakfast to come out but not an unreasonable length of time. My wife loved her Farmer Pot Pie and declared it a keeper. Maybe I'm too picky but I found my Steak to a bit on the overdone side and while I like my Hash Browns some what on the crispy side, these were underdone in my opinion but again a matter of taste. They don't do the greatest job on Social Distancing but they do an outstanding job on sanitation between customers. Biggest reason for the 3 as opposed to a 4 rating was the service and granted it was at a busy time so will give it another shot later to see if it gets better. They are relatively new and hopefully they are learning as they go.

This tiny gem was packed during brunch time. It was worth the wait and the food was out quick. I had the Vegetable Burrito and ChocolateChip Pancakes (split them) and they were amazing, so fresh and flavorful. We were a party of 6 and everyone loves their meals. I will be going back next time I'm in town.

A little wait to get a table here normally but the restaurant is cute and the food is on a fancier level. Great presentation and so delicious! We love going there on Saturdays. One thing I don't like is the artificial creamers for the coffee is banned in other countries. I feel the greasiness in my cup. And the cappuccino comes in a tiny cup if I get that instead do it's a lose lose. Other than that we enjoy our time there and the staff is friendly.

Food and service are great. Ambiance could be a little better, but getting good classic eggs Benedict is not easy around here, so I'm happy.

A neat little cafe with friendly service. Hard to get a table due to popularity though and a little pricey.

We got…read moreour food to-go (so this review won't be on the restaurant itself and service), but can point out that this location feels more refreshed (clean) on the inside than the other location. Also, our food was ready for pick-up early! Many patrons come to Sports Page for their chicken tenders. They are good, but are getting smaller and smaller. I got the side salad and fries with my tenders. Their fries are pretty good (not too greasy) and give you a lot of them, while their salad is fresh but ranch is a bit runny. They are consistent with the quality of their food and service, which is a good thing. I can promise you that every time you go to Sports Page that you will always have good customer service with pretty swell food. If you prioritize a clean and maintained restaurant over proximity, you should come to this location instead of Coulwood. Great job Sports Page!

The third time I tried I think it was called the breakfast burger which was I would say 7/10. I was going to try again today until I looked at the specials and realized that these specials are not specials at all. These are extremely overpriced. This is before taxes tip or anything and you're telling me that the steak you're making for me is three times the value of what I can get in the store. That is absolutely insane. I'll never go back here.

Tried to go a couple of other times to other entities but they were always closed or in transition to new owners. We don't live very far away from there and in years past, our mailing address would have been in Stanley till the developer convinced the USPS that the Denver PO could server our needs better. That remains to be seen. Based on the reviews, I want to give them a try, particularly the hand-pattied Cheeseburger. This was Saturday and we left at 10:45 am and got there at 11:00 am My wife is not a Breakfast person, and we time our trips to catch the early part of the Lunch menu. We walked in and seated ourselves as is protocol. Our server showed up shortly with Breakfast menu's and to take our beverage orders. I ask for a Lunch Menu and she replied they do not offer the Lunch Menu over the week end. I've never seen a BLT offered as a breakfast item but there is was under the Biscuits. I also go a side of Hashbrowns. My wife ordered a more traditional breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns toast etc. Not what she would have normally ordered. The BLT is good although a little sparing on the Bacon. Hashbrowns were outstanding however and probably the best I have had in the area. My wife indicated that here meal was OK but not something that she would order again. Service was good but since we did not have an opportunity to leave a tip when the rang us up and since we don't normally carry cash on us, my wife had to go out the car and get a bunch of one's to leave as a tip.
