Food is great! Bacon was perfect. Coffee is awesome. Staff is friendly. The atmosphere is chill and the music is good and not to loud.

Place completely empty at noon on a Thursday. Lots of parking. 17 tables, a counter and a 8-top with barstools. Ordered black coffee and eggs Benedict. Server brewed a new pot so it took about 5 for the coffee. Featuring LaVazz coffee. It's pretty good. Christian music on the PA Eggs came out about 15 mins later. Numerous signs inside about how this is not fast food. Hash browns were super greasy, but tasty. One Egg was a little overcooked. I would call it well done. 2nd egg was perfect medium. Too much hollandaise and it was kinda cheesy? Knife had an old tomato seed stuck on it but I wiped it off and persevered. Server was super polite. Not sure if I will return. Well maybe I'll try lunch next time. read more

Ordered the steak and eggs. Husband had the Tennessee "bene". Both came out lukewarm - still tasted good. When our server Layla asked how everything was we shared w her and she showed concern and before we knew it we had a remake of the steak and eggs super hot and even more delicious thanks to Britt. I asked for gluten free bread and when I saw it, it looked too good to be true and I had to confirm it was really gluten free! It tasted delicious (Britt said it comes from Brooklyn!). We will definitely be back as they took the time to check in w us and make sure we were treated right. Also enjoyed the Lego creations all over the place. Loved the worship music playing, the prayer cards in the bathroom, the conversation cards at the table. We will bring the kids w us next time so they can enjoy it too! read more

This review is gonna be a two-for. And base my rating solely on the food and I'm going to start with the positive! The food we ordered was amazing. It came out hot and was truly delicious!! There's a wide variety of items on the menu to fit any pallet. There is plenty of seating for all size groups (we were a party of 8) Our server was very good. She checked back with us many times. Note the word "many". Reason being that it seemed very difficult for them to get food out of the kitchen. After quite a bit of waiting a manager said we were the next ticket out after one more order. They wanted all our food to come out together. No problem. We were not in a hurry. A little more time passed and indeed our food started to come out. Well, 6 meals started to come out. Only to find their cooktop broke down and the last two meals would be awhile. Sadly, we had already waited a very long period of time and the 6 meals that did come out were already eaten so two of our party guest cancelled their order altogether. And by reading other reviews the time factor does seem to be an issue. SO maybe try them out if you're not in a hurry just to give the food a fair try. read more

Pretty disappointing breakfast spot. My husband and I ate breakfast here for the first time, immediately noticed how religious this cafe was and the environment proved even more uncomfortable. We could hear the manager consistently directing staff about a LOT, and that should have been our first red flag. Our waiter couldn't seem to understand my husbands coffee order, cold brew coffee, when we showed him the cold brew on the menu he triple checked with us seemingly more confused we said iced black coffee was fine, but got served extremely creamy iced coffee. To sum up the rest, salsa was just blended tomatoes, food was so greasy (at the very least) we both got diarrhea, and spent over $50 for this quality of an experience. read more

The food was goodish... the wait was not worth it for the food or drinks. They have 3 people standing up front just sitting people when they could have them be running food or drinks for these busy waitresses. Also our food came out one at a time and we waited for syrup and by the time we got it the food was cold because again food came out one by one instead of using the trays they have... if you have nothing but time on your hand come here if not don't come here for the food it's nit worth it at all! read more

This is one of the worst out to eat breakfast experience I've ever had. The service was tremendously slow - my wife and I waited 20 minutes after being seated for someone to take our order. When the food finally came out, both our orders were wrong. The quality of the food was mediocre at best. My wife's waffle was slightly better than a hotel waffle and my breakfast hash was fine. Certainly not worth the wait. When we finally went up to pay, we had to wait another 7 minutes as the staff scrambled to find our order. There are so many great breakfast restaurants in Mooresville. First Watch, Famous Toastery, Athena's Cafe, to name a few. Take your business there, not here. read more

First, let me say the service was very good. However, the food was just meh and overpriced for what you get. The coffee was not great either. I ordered an omelet that was supposed to have sausage in it but there was so little you could barely taste it. The hash browns were a bit oily and so smashed down, you really aren't getting very much at all. For the omelet and coffee, it was about $20 before tip. read more

One star for opening the door and attempting to run a business. Went in at 11:30 (Sunday) and ordeal ended at 1:30. Eventually found out they were 4 servers down. Our first waitress messed up simple beverage and food orders for party of 3. I chose eggs Benedict and she delivered scrambled eggs on Texas toast over an hour later. Second waitress tried to step in and make things right and was sweet but said she had to run coffee machine for refills? You're a breakfast place and you don't have a pot ready for refills? 30 minutes later they report having run out of hollandaise sauce "30 minutes ago', but I had placed my order 1+ hour before. Just a total disaster. Horrible and will never return. They did not charge me for the naked Benedict but by that time I had lost my appetite and just wanted to get out of this place ASAP. My wife and I stopped here when traveling through NC. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and friendly service. Kennedy was great as a server. The gluten free pancakes were very good, as well as the steak and eggs. We'll make a point of coming back next time we're in the area! read more

We have visited Rise on 3 occasions, our experience was similar each time. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, but then things went downhill. Today, it was more than 30 minutes from when we ordered and food delivery. My pancakes were delivered without butter or syrup , and were tepid so the butter didn't melt. My wife said here scrambled eggs were oily, like the were cooked in the oil remains where burgers were just cooked. The Manager told us 4 people called off sick, and gave us free bignets. I told her today was the same as my previous 2 visits. This place needs someone who knows how to manage a kitchen. The current staff has no idea. Jackson tried hard to provide good service, but, unfortunately, received no cooperation from the kitchen. This place needs a manager who knows how to operate a restaurant, and train kitchen staff. The food was very good. Hash browns were cooked well, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Biscuits and gravy were not bad, too much pepper and not enough sausage. Our bacon looked old and dry, and tasted three days old. I ordered a banana Nutella waffle and instead they gave me a waffle completely soaked in chocolate syrup. My husband's waffle had way too much powdered sugar on it. The Service was good though, our waitress was polite and quick. This one was a miss for us. Love this restaurant. We have been twice. Once for breakfast, then for lunch. Very friendly and welcoming. Our favorite is their home fries. Small cubes of toasted crunchy potatoes. I don't normally review places, but I had to tell the world about this gem! First thing I noticed was the cleanliness. Our server, G, truly made our meal fantastic. My meal was delicious. My husband's biscuits and gravy was flavorful. Both came to the table hot. My husband and I went for breakfast. We both ordered very different meals and we both enjoyed them thoroughly. Even more than the food was our waitress, "G" or Georganna, who is super sweet, and not overbearing, but very attentive. The restaurant is a little dark, but I think it's the window tint to keep the heat out in the summer. It didn't bother us at all. The teatime talking points on the tables were super fun. I asked about accommodating food, allergies, specifically dairy, so we can bring our children , and they said they most definitely can. Can't wait to go back here and give it a second try. read more

As much as I loved and would recommend the breakfast, I found the lunch wanting. The kids ham and cheese was just a small half sandwich (takeout menu gives no indication) and simply a cold slice of ham and cheese on bread. We are staying next door and walked over for breakfast. It was excellent. The eggs were fresh eggs, the Corned Beef Hash is made in house and was delicious. Georgiana, our waitress, was the best. Not good food at all in our opinion-and unpleasant atmosphere- Was hopeful for a new breakfast place in town but was so disappointed-dark with blaring tv and music-and not very clean inside-we left half our breakfast uneaten, breakfast potatoes were not good at all and tasted like they were frozen not made fresh-no real flavor-the eggs Benedict which is our go to did not taste like a true Hollandaise sauce to us-it tasted like salad dressing... and did not taste good to us-not even the coffee was decent. We actually ended up going to a coffee shop right after to get a good cup of coffee! The prices are similar to another popular breakfast place in town-unfortunately the food is not nearly as good and it feels like a dirty spoon diner which is overpriced. After owner response Edited to add: I am actually religious and the Christian aspect in NO WAY made us "uncomfortable"and was not something even mentioned-disappointing that the owner is trying to make it about that-it was that in our opinion it was dark, not nice decor overall and the food did not taste good to us. Recently I had the pleasure treating my best friend with lunch from Rise Cafe. I had the Mushroom burger , and she got the chicken on croissant. Both were amazing. I Ordered in store, the staff were amazing. The cashier Kennedy was so kind and knowledgable. I would definatley recommend this Cafe. For a pleasant meal and a change from the "fast food".
