CornedBeef Hash & Eggs with fruit and English muffin

This review is gonna be a two-for. And base my rating solely on the food and I'm going to start with the positive! The food we ordered was amazing. It came out hot and was truly delicious!! There's a wide variety of items on the menu to fit any pallet. There is plenty of seating for all size groups (we were a party of 8) Our server was very good. She checked back with us many times. Note the word "many". Reason being that it seemed very difficult for them to get food out of the kitchen. After quite a bit of waiting a manager said we were the next ticket out after one more order. They wanted all our food to come out together. No problem. We were not in a hurry. A little more time passed and indeed our food started to come out. Well, 6 meals started to come out. Only to find their cooktop broke down and the last two meals would be awhile. Sadly, we had already waited a very long period of time and the 6 meals that did come out were already eaten so two of our party guest cancelled their order altogether. And by reading other reviews the time factor does seem to be an issue. SO maybe try them out if you're not in a hurry just to give the food a fair try.

It was amazing service and food. The restaurant was clean and a peaceful environment. Coffee was good and hot. The food came to the table in a timely manner.

    Heart shaped pancakes and bacon

The food was very good. Hash browns were cooked well, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Biscuits and gravy were not bad, too much pepper and not enough sausage. The Biscuits were very buttery and very delicious. "Heart" shaped pancakes need a little work. Maybe should stick to round.

My omelet and biscuit were good enough (but not hot enough...did they sit around waiting to be expedited...short servers?). As for the grits. They ran out. How does a breakfast place in NC run out? They finally came after I had finished the omelet. Sigh. THEN the single slice of lukewarm French toast came. After the grits. After she was long finished with her eggs. It WAS delicious though. Let's talk FOOD. That omelet? Fluffy like it trained at egg boot camp. Stuffed with sausage, ham, bacon, cheese basically the Avengers of breakfast. The home fries were crispy golden cubes of perfection. Not soggy. Not greasy. Just straight-up breakfast excellence. The ham slices were thick and flavorful like they meant business. That biscuit sandwich? Soft, buttery, and holding everything together like a breakfast superhero. And those cheesy grits? Creamy enough to make you emotional. Add melted cheddar and it's basically Southern comfort in a bowl. Portions? Generous. Flavor? Elite. Coffee? Flowing like we were at a caffeine convention. Now let's talk about Jonathan Jonathan delivered AMAZING service. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced, and on top of everything like a breakfast conductor running a delicious orchestra. Drinks stayed filled, food came out hot, and he made sure our whole crew felt taken care of. That kind of service turns a good meal into a great experience. The vibe inside? Busy, lively, happy breakfast energy everywhere. You can tell this is a spot people return to again and again. Final verdict: We came hungry. We left full. We left smiling. And yes... we'll be back. Fresh Egg you cracked the code.

We came upon this place knowing it was in the area, and decided to try it. They allow you to seat yourself which is fine. They did not seem to be very busy at noon on a Saturday, but people were coming and going. All good. Our server came by quickly to ask about drinks and if we wanted any appetizers. We gave drink orders and said no to apps. It was the first time here, so I tend to look over the menu a little longer than usual, but, it was not that busy. The server came by to take our entree orders and we said we just need a few minutes to look over the menu. Within 1 minute, another server came by to take orders order. We said that we just told the server we need a couple minutes to look at the menu. I'm not sure what the rush was, but it made me feel like they must take orders immediately. For a casual place, with a great playlist by the way, they sure made me feel hurried. The first server came by in a good amount of time, so we finally placed our order. Our food came out pretty quickly. Everything looked really good. Nice portion sizes and the food was tasty. We got a summer lovin flatbread and the California panini chicken sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. I wasn't too fond of the aoli. I thought it was a little thick. I think I would have preferred a honey mustard sauce for the fries. Also, the chicken was so thin on the sandwich you could hardly taste it. Sandwich was good but I expected more of a chicken cutlet as opposed to a flattened piece of chicken as you might get at the deli counter. My guy finished first, but I was still eating. The server comes by and asks what we're thinking for dessert. Again, rushed? I was still eating my lunch. We weren't ready to make that decision but now I wanted to finish and go, because, clearly it's the servers favorite table, and must have some attachment to it to be rushing the meal so much. I think the server needs to work on timing. If one in the party is still eating their food, would they really be discussing dessert yet? And to remind all who are reading: it wasn't a busy day yet. Only a few tables were occupied, so I will be docking a star for the service. Overall if not such a rushed experience, I would say: menu good, portions good, comfortable atmosphere. Nice place. Servers need extra training in timing and approach.
