Great coffee spot and place to work remotely from. Plenty of seating with large tables and an outdoor patio. Vibes are always good and chill. Prices are decent and I love the table delivery.
This café brings such a refreshing Turkish-inspired twist to your usual coffee spot. Their drink menu has a wide variety of options, and I love that they offer seasonal flavors such as pumpkin which is my fav fall flavor --I went with the pumpkin latte. Highly recommend! They also have a solid selection of pastries and desserts if you're in the mood for something sweet, but I decided to try the turkey avocado melt. It was honestly so good--the pesto really made the sandwich stand out. The vibe here is another highlight. It's a great mix of people working, studying, or just hanging out, which makes it a perfect spot if you're looking to get some work done outside of home.
All I can say is come here for the dessert!! I came here with two of my friends and we had brunch. My panini and hot chocolate were average. The atmosphere is very communal-like and not really my vibe. It's quite loud and we had a hard time finding a place to sit. When we finally did my chair was heavy, clunky and uncomfortable. However, I got a slice of sweet potato pie and tiramisu to go and it was outstanding!! Delicious in every way. I shared it with my husband and we both loved it. I'd personally return on a low volume day, but would probably just get dessert to go. A heads up...this place is expensive!! So keep that in mind if you choose to visit.
We visited Vavela on a Friday night after dinner for a quick dessert. I loved the setup in here, their seating and decor was just beautiful. I think there's something to be said about having a late night hangout spot which isn't alcohol focused. I really loved this place, their vibes were awesome. We ordered some baklava and a strawberry and cream croissant. The croissant was really nice, and the pastry cream was super good, but the strawberries were underripe and super sour and tasteless. The baklava was awesome though. The service at this place was great, I love that they have someone seating people. I would absolutely go here as a late night spot, especially since it's open until 2am and it's a great place for conversations!
Fourth time here and it keeps delivering. Came on a Tuesday afternoon with a friend and it was the perfect low key visit -- not too busy, and we grabbed a 4-top table right when we walked in. The setup is worth mentioning for first timers -- it's seat yourself with a mix of social couches, working tables, and grouped seating. Very versatile depending on what you're coming in for. I've worked out of here a few times too and the free WiFi makes it easy. One heads up though -- outlets are pretty limited depending on where you sit, so if you're coming to work, get there early and choose your seat wisely. On to the good stuff. My friend ordered the Pistachio Matcha Latte and it was really tasty -- I took a sip and can confirm. We also tried the tiramisu Turkish delight, which had an interesting flavor but great texture. I'd try the pistachio or a fruit flavor next time. Seemed well made overall. I got my usual -- the strawberry banana Frappuccino with oat milk. Amazing, as always. My friend and I did go back and forth on whether it contained coffee since it's labeled as a Frappuccino, but we asked a worker and confirmed there's zero coffee or caffeine in it. A little misleading by name, but honestly I order it for the flavor anyway so no complaints. Side note -- this place gets busy on Eid, from personal experience. Great energy that day but worth knowing if you're planning around it. Consistent, spacious, and always a good vibe. Keep coming back for a reason.
Very cute and spacious coffee shop located in a shop center with plenty of parking. The vibes reminded you of an indoor beach club-- but make it a space to do work. There is a huge case filled with a large variety of pastries and cheesecakes at the front. So much to choose from. Service was efficient and they used the buzzer system with such a large customer base I didnt get much food, but I had a decaf coffee- which was fine. And a blueberry muffin.
Vavala is a total gem. I had an internal battle over getting dessert, so I went with the Chicken Avocado Panini instead it was absolutely outstanding! My husband, however, has no self-control, so he got the Chocolate Strawberry Croissant lol. Both were 10/10. Even the matcha was so aesthetic and delicious! I know some people mention the prices, but honestly, it's spot on. I'd much rather pay for high-quality food and a gorgeous atmosphere than spend the same amount on something mediocre elsewhere. Plus, the service was fast and everyone was so nice. My only regret is not taking a dessert to go! I'll definitely be back.
I love how they do birthdays for people! It's really nice! The manager is also very friendly and I have seen him at all hours of the day! The pistachio latte is delish!! That and the chicken pesto is my go to ! Also the zatar cheese plate is a close second! The restaurant is super nice and clean, it's a nice ambiance!
This is truly a beautiful chill vibe place to get a great coffee, frappe or dessert. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't know what to get so I got Dubai chocolate dream cake and a Dubai chocolate frappe. They were light, creamy, dreamy and refreshing. They have something for everyone. I love the ambience and I highly recommend. Note the AC ain't no joke so bring jacket or blanket if you cold natured.
Great Ambiance Great Service Good coffee and desserts as well . This place was beautiful inside and from the outside not what you would at all expect as it is in a building looking like any old strip mall. But inside it is just a fun transformation of the space. With lots of seating and wide open spaces. The touch of colors and design make it feel like somewhere you would want to hang out. The coffee was good not great but everything else helped elevate the experience. It can be quite busy so make sure to grab a table if you see one when you get in there quickly!
Stopped into Vavela Cafe and wow, what a gem! I grabbed a caramel latte and it was delicious smooth, not overly sweet, and exactly what I needed. The cafe itself is absolutely stunning.. bright, modern, and buzzing with energy. There's tons of seating, though I almost didn't snag a spot (a true sign of how loved this place is). Everyone we interacted with was so friendly, which made the experience even better. I didn't order food this time, but everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. I am definitely adding brunch here to my list. It's the perfect spot whether you're meeting a friend, settling in with your laptop, or just popping in for a coffee break. Bonus: parking was super easy, which is always a win. Already planning my next visit!
They have a vast menu with a multitudeof options. The weekend brunch can be crazy but people come in, eat, amd leave making room. The coffee is superb. I tried the Dubi coffee and fell in love. I also got the new chicken pesto and it was delicious and hearty. I had left overs. I can see why people want to vibe here during the day. Its chic and roomy. I want to come back for those beautiful waffles. They have Dubi chocolate cups too!
We found ourselves in a strange situation. We come to this coffee shop very often and genuinely love the desserts here, especially the caramel cheesecake and the potato pie. However, I had a very confusing experience today. I ordered a small drink for my girlfriend and a large one for myself. Here's a little quiz for you: which one would you guess is the small drink and which one is the large? You would probably assume the green matcha is the large one -- but no, that was the small drink, while the latte was supposed to be the large. When I received the drinks, I politely asked, "Excuse me, which size are these?" I was told they were both small. Then they brought out the "large" cup -- and it turned out to be exactly the same size. What I do not understand is why I was being treated as if I could not clearly see that the cups were literally identical. I understand if the amount of liquid differs slightly, but when the cups themselves are visibly the same size, what exactly was the point of paying extra for a "large" drink? It is not about the money. I simply do not like being made to feel foolish. We have probably visited this place around 30 times, and honestly, this experience may have been the last one for us. We also ordered the tuna panini, and unfortunately it was just okay. There was too much onion and very little tuna. Other paninis here have definitely been much better.

Was visiting family during Memorial Day weekend, and we met up with a friend in town at this lovely Turkish Cafe in the university area of Charlotte, NC. Loved the vibe and the decor. It's a very happening spot for young and old, families and friends, people looking to work, and others just there to chill and relax. The line was out the door for the duration of my time there, but do not let that deter you. They have ample space to handle the crowd and it's well staffed with people constantly walking around helping and answering questions. Service is fast and everyone is so nice. They have a variety of seating arrangements which makes it great for large or small groups. This may sound like a lot is going on, and it is...but at the same time it's very relaxing and chill. You place your order at the counter and I'm telling you, they have a great variety to choose from. My party shared some chicken flatbread, a Caprese style appetizer(not its name), and sweet potato cheesecake. Whe all enjoyed some coffee made to order for our liking. We even ordered some pistachio and dubai chocolate desserts to go. Everything was superb! We sat and talked for hours and just soaked in the environment. I had such a great experience and I'm really looking forward to dining here again. read more

This is my "GO-TO" spot whenever I'm entertaining out of town guests or just a meetup with local friends. I've been for morning coffee when it's not as busy and late at night weekends during it's busiest times. Finding a parking space is challenging, especially on weekends. But once you step inside Vavela's you forget all about that because the vibe catches you instantly. The music, upbeat yet relaxing, transports you to another place and time. As soon as the doors open it's impressive! Seating is welcoming and abundant, be it at a table, on sofas or a grouping of comfortable chairs. When you walk up to the counter to order they have all of their drinks and deserts chilling and on display. And there are a lot of them! I don't know if they are made from scratch or premade, but I've had about 6 different kinds and each one was better than the next. All delicious! On my last visit we got our coffees, shared chicken flatbread, a tomatoe/cheese appetizer and sweet potato cheesecake and EVERYTHING was delicious!!!! They always have a lot of servers and they bring your order to your table. Because it stays busy I notice they have to constantly be on top of cleaning the tables and floors and often people will grab a seat before the staff has a chance to clean the area. But they overall do a good job staying on top of it. I highly recommend Vavela for a group meeting, or if alone, bring your laptop, your studies and get some work done while grabbing a bite to eat...and a Latte. read more

Tried Vavela for the first time over the weekend and had a good experience! Inside was spacious, clean and decorated nicely. First time going here last night and wasn't disappointed. We were looking for a new place to try dessert and found this gem on a food bloggers IG. We tried the lemon raspberry cake, red velvet cake, and cheesecake. Everything was amazing and wasn't as sweet as most desserts. The lemon raspberry and cheesecake were our favorites. The service was quick, everything was fresh, and the decor was beautiful. Cannot wait to return for breakfast and lunch. read more
Are you kidding me? This is an incredible café. I've been there a couple times and although it is typically packed if you get a good seat, it's a lovely experience. Their croissants are life-changing and I love getting the berry cup- the fruit is so fresh. I haven't tried a lot of their other items , but I've only heard good things and I could genuinely stay in there for hours. read more

The atmosphere is very nice here. The presentation and selection of baked offerings is very nice too. My sister got the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake ($6.95) and said it was delicious! We also ordered the Strawberry Dubai Cup ($13.95), Dubai mini cake ($6.95), and the Pistachio Kataifi cake ($7.25). So, the strawberry cup was just okay, not worth the money! The pistachio cake was not good, it was dry and there was an odd flavor we couldn't place. The mini cake wasn't bad but not great like we were hoping. *The Dubai desserts we got tonight did not have real kataifi, they used shredded wheat. This does not give you the same crunch....Disappointing!!!! read more

The atmosphere and energy are amazing and the place is well located. My only complaint is that the pricing is a bit over the top for the food being of standard quality/ taste. My main reason for coming here and visiting would be the vibes. read more
This place was very aesthetically pleasing to say the least. The ambiance definitely sets the tone for all coffee shop activities. I was able to find a work space no problem. I did have to seek out a couch with an outlet though. The seating was very comfortable and I enjoyed the level and type of background music. The food is as good as it looks. Although a not on the pricey side, the coffee is pretty delicious. Overall, very impressed. I would love to come back at night and check it out as a lounge. read more

Such a charming café, and I loved that the menu includes food and not just sweets and coffee. I was a bit disappointed to find there were no vegan dessert options--hopefully that's something they consider adding in the future. The pistachio latte with oat milk was delicious, though, and worth coming back for. read more

Man, let me tell you--you will not be disappointed coming here. Whether it's a solo lunch, date day, catching up with friends, or even a quick networking meetup, this spot just works. There's plenty of parking, which is already a win. Heads up--you'll need to take the stairs to get up to the café, but once you're inside, it's totally worth it. The vibe is super chic and beautifully decorated. It's got that cool, cozy feel that makes you want to stay a while. We ordered paninis (so good), chips, coffee, fresh fruit, a refresher, and this chocolate-covered croissant that was unreal. Everything was tasty, and they bring the food out to your table after you order, which is a nice touch. I'm already planning my next visit. This spot is a gem. read more

I've been wanting to try this new Turkish coffee shop out as they have created quite the buzz in town. So I decided to stop by. This space doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you step in you're transported to a Turkish coffee shop. The decor is stunning! Beautiful earthy tones, cute sitting areas, I mean whoever designed this place did an amazing job! The staff were patient and polite. I ordered a egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a crossaint, creme brulé cheesecake, Nutella cheesecake, pistachio iced latte and a mango peach refresher. My total came up to about $36, so not cheap! Everything was roughly around $7 per item. The crossaint was served with pickles and chips, which was interesting. The crossaint sandwich was buttery warm and flaky, the cheese was delightful and added a richness to the breakfast sandwich. Really good! This chips were nice and crunchy. The refresher was just that, packed with fruity flavor a bit sweet but very refreshing! The pistachio iced latte was really good as well, it didn't taste artificial at all. It was not too sweet and packed a strong coffee flavor which I typically don't like, but I'm also not a coffee person so my judgment may not be fair. We saved our desserts for later and both cheesecakes were yummy. Again, not too sweet but very balanced in flavor. I'd be interested in coming back to try more items! read more
This place is super cute. The coffee is exceptional. The pastries and paninis OMG. They are delicious! We ordered pistachio latte and turkish coffee. perfect temperature, and not overly sweet. Lovely cafe! Very spacious, lots of seating, love the variety of food and drinks you can order here. Service is quick in ordering and in serving the food. We ordered at the counter and took a number to place on our table - pastries were brought to us first with a short wait for the sandwiches. The mango passion fruit macarons were excellent but I liked the pistachio (mini) macaron the best. The chicken pesto panini was just as delicious as it looked and my husband really enjoyed his turkey avocado melt. Such a cool new cafe in the university area. There aren't many large cafes like this in the area so it's nice to have something different. It was packed on a Sunday night, with so many group, people working in laptops, and people just grabbing to go order. I loved the atmosphere. It was very welcoming. The atmosphere is very inviting from the moment you walk inside. The natural light, cozy seating, and calming decor makes it a great place to meet friends or catch up on some work. The service was good. Once you get a number, they will bring it out to you. I had the chicken salad sub panini and a hot white mocha latte. I stumbled upon this place on my lunch break while visiting another establishment in the shopping center. I made a mental note to check it out next day and whew am I glad I did! Soon as you walk in the decor just greets you like a warm hug from a long lost auntie. It's absolutely beautiful and stunning! So cozy and comforting. I head to the cashier while having to pass by some yummy desserts and said to myself I'm definitely getting one of these! I order a chicken salad sandwich and a peach mango refresher and head to my table. Didn't take long for the food to arrive. The sandwich was served on a nice toasted bun and that peach refresher was singing in my mouth with its bubbly deliciousness. After I ate my lunch I went back to order the caramel butter cake and a latte and I asked them to warm the cake up. Let me tell you, that cake was everything! Delicious, soft and moist. A worker stopped by my table to ask how I was enjoying everything and I said everything was amazing. He let me know they had only been open a week. Clearly word has already gotten out because the place was packed mid day. Perfect spot to go for lunch, or just to sit and unwind with a nice cup of coffee and a book or your laptop. Highly recommend this place and I will be back over and over again. read more

Ana was the cashier that took my order. She was extremely sweet and exolained the menu to me as well as the dine in options and times. I ordered the TikTok craze- Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cup. The inside if the restaurant is very elegant. It's great for meet ups or a late night snack. The dessert was good nit great but a bit pricy. I think that I will try something else off of the menu next time. I think this place deserves your visit! read more
