Roasted Tinto is a Colombian bakery and coffee shop. It's kind of hard to see the restaurant from the road (I drove past it unknowingly) but if you see the laundromat you're in the right place. Roasted Tinto is attached to the North Tryon 2 Laundromat and I believe both businesses are owned and operated by the same family. The cafe isn't large but there's a good amount of seating inside and a few tables outside. I tried the chicken empanadas and they were delicious. Lots of filling and a perfectly fried crust on the outside. I think they are fairly priced at $2.30 per empanada. For drinks I tried their seasonal options, The White Chocolate Ube Latte and the Blueberry Refresher. I definitely enjoyed the latte over the refresher. The white chocolate and Ube flavors make a wonderful pairing. The blueberry refresher fell a little flat for me, club soda and blueberry syrup is simple enough but maybe some mint or other accompaniment could make it better. They also sell Colombian snacks, drinks and candy. There are small parking lots for patrons to use in front of the coffee shop and in front of the laundromat. I think some patrons were able to park on the side of the building also. The staff were very friendly and even walked orders out to patrons that decided to wait outside of the cafe. I would definitely visit again!

This is the cutest coffee shop! We were invited to a community meeting held here and we decided to indulge in the coffee and empanadas! The coffee of course is spectacular I had a latter flavored with lavender and my husband had his flavored with caramel. Great coffee and the best atmosphere. We were able to meet with David the owner, and we were so glad we did! Listen! The star of the show is the empanadas though! Colombian empanadas just hit different! Love the community mindset of this business and how they show up and out for community!

Blueberry refresher, chocolate banana latte, and white chocolate Ube latte...YUMMY

I was pleasantly surprised by the items we ordered! We grabbed our food and drinks from the pick-up window and enjoyed the outdoor seating. Also, the iced matcha latte was the perfect shade of green. We didn't take pictures of the burritos, but they were a little smaller than I expected for the price, which cost between $8.25-$8.45. I can't really speak to the service because we ordered through the tablet and had minimal interactions with the baristas. However, I'm looking forward to coming back here to check out the indoor area, which we didn't really explore this time around. Smelly Cat Coffee is also conveniently located near a light rail station, if you ever decide to check this place out!

I had recently tried this drink at another Haraz location and loved it so much that I officially considered myself a matcha drinker. When I received my drink, I noticed it looked much pinker than it had at the other locations I'd visited. I assumed it had just been mixed and that the usual layers of matcha, strawberry, and whipped cloud had blended together, so I didn't think much of it. However, after taking my first sip in the car, it immediately tasted like strawberry milk. Since I was on my way to work, I kept drinking it, expecting the matcha flavor to come through, but it never did. It was disappointing because the drink was nothing like the one I've had several times at other Haraz locations. I hope this location places an emphasis on training and consistency so the drinks meet the same standard as the rest of the Haraz locations. On a positive note, the staff members were kind, welcoming, and greeted me as soon as I walked in.

It has such a calm vibe with plenty of seating inside and some outdoors as well. I loved that they offer seasonal drinks alongside their classics and food options. We sat for around an hour working on our laptops and weren't interrupted. There were people chatting as well, so it's a great space to do both. A minute after I sat down, a lovely couple tried to squeeze the vintage wooden booth that looked like it was built before the civil war. Cute tho but tiny. I told them they were fine to join me so they could sit in the comfy chairs! And that I didn't mind. So they were grateful to join my spot back here in the last room. One that has stuck with me for years was a rosemary roasted potato pizza I discovered in a little hole-in-the-wall spot in Winnemucca, Nevada. When I saw a similar option on the menu here, I had to give it a try. I ordered the Liberation pizza and added Italian sausage, along with a side of wings and blue cheese. I was also curious about the Mexican street corn but requested it on the side so it wouldn't get soggy during the ride home. The timing was accurate--they quoted about 20 minutes--but parking in this area of North Davidson can be a bit challenging, especially during busy hours. It's a lively, high-traffic intersection, so plan accordingly if you're picking up. Here's where things got a little bumpy. When I got home, I realized the pizzas in the box were not mine. I called the restaurant, and to their credit, they immediately apologized and offered to remake the order right away. That kind of responsiveness goes a long way, and I appreciated their willingness to make it right without hesitation. I drove back to pick up the corrected order, and the staff again apologized and had everything ready. Unfortunately, when I got home the second time, the wings were there--but the blue cheese was missing. At that point, it was late, and I decided to just call it a night. Lesson learned on my end: always take a moment to check the order before leaving. Rookie mistake. Now for the food itself: * Pizza: Delicious overall, with great flavor and quality ingredients. I personally prefer a thinner crust, but the taste was solid. The truffle oil was a bit heavy for my palate and slightly overpowered the other flavors. I also would have preferred the sausage to be crumbled rather than in larger chunks for more even distribution. * Wings: Very good--crispy, well-seasoned, and satisfying. They just really needed that blue cheese to complete the experience. Despite the hiccups, the team handled the situation professionally, and the food quality is clearly there. This is a popular neighborhood spot with creative menu options, and I'd absolutely give them another try. Helpful tip for future customers: Parking can be tight, and takeout orders can get busy--so double-check your order before you leave. It'll save you a second trip. Overall, a lively local place with strong flavors, good recovery on service, and a menu that's worth exploring.

We each got a drink (strong--in a good way) and ordered pizzas to go: the elote chicken and the liberation potato. Both were super unique and honestly really good.
