Such a cute and fun little dessert shop. I really enjoyed the Biscoff cookie shake and the regular ice cream scoop with drizzle. Customer service was great even when it was super busy. Place was clean and provided an open restroom.

Cynthia R.

Great dessert options from ice cream, shakes and cookies. Not the cheapest however so be prepared to spend a lil bit. Nice to grab whatever and go find a nice spot along the lake to enjoy it.

I have been coming to 90s dessert bar for over 15 years! The ice cream never disappoints it was so busy on Juneteenth that the line was hanging out out of the building, but the employees were working hard to satisfy every order. I had a double scoop of banana pudding and butter, pecan ice cream and my best friend had a cookie dough waffle cone. I have never had an issue with my ice cream not being fresh or with customer service. I am very happy that this ice cream shop is still here.

Ore (Oh My Gosh) oreo milkshake w/o whipped cream
Kyshia M.

My review is only based off one item. The oreo milkshake. The shake is made with real ice cream. So thick you need a spoon and a straw. Comes with whipped cream and oreo crumble on top. I opted out of the whipped cream but def needed the oreo crumble. Did not disappoint! Comes in one size and I ended up devouring the whole thing. THIS PLACE IS CARD ONLY! Parking is an open lot with a lot of other establishments so be prepared to drive around for a min.

Mint oreo, 49er, Moosetrack
Christina T.

What Cyndi G. said 18 days ago. We only tried their shakes and they were fire! * mint oreo (me) * 49er (Son) * Moosetracks (Husband) Husband and Son are the definite sweeties of the family. They both said their shakes were delicious. I'm not normally a shake person, but mine was also delicious. Munro Oreo and 49er: just the right ratio of ice cream to cookie/candy. Thick enough to eat with a spoon but also thin enough to easily drink with a milkshake straw. Moosetrack: too chunky to drink through the straw due to the Reese's not being blended enough. But he used his spoon and was happy. However, I was disappointed with decor and music. As a kid growing up in the 90s, I definitely expected better decor (not just one logo-painted wall) and 90s music playing! Overall, if you're looking for good ice cream and your decor and personality expectations are low, go here. One start each for delicious shakes.

Grabbed a cookies and cream scoop in a waffle cone and it was very good. Quaint spot and I was able to get my ice cream quickly at 8pm. Server was nice and personable. Definitely a place to frequent.

This place is nice the ice cream is decent. I like the ninety's theme that is going on. I think it is the only ice cream shop in that area. The prices are good I have no complaints.

cookie sundae with vanilla ice cream and sprinkles

we went here on a saturday right when they opened at 12! i was hesitant bc i had read some things that mentioned they gave small portions and the staff was rude but i thought it was the complete opposite! the portions were large! and yes they averaged around $7-9 but you're at a specialty ice cream spot! so i thought it was reasonable. I got a chocolate chip cookie sundae, and we also got their magical unicorn sundae. they were both huge and delicious! the shop was cute and had 90s themed characters and music. the staff was super nice as well. my reason for 4 stars is the floors were sticky and the windows/doors were a bit dusty.

Strawberry Shortcake Forty Niners
Precious B.

Cute place! Lots of options! I really wish red velvet was a permanent flavor because that's what I was really craving. I order the strawberry shortcake and the forty niners shake. Both were great! Forty niners had a hint of something interesting that I can't put my finger on but still good! I l also oved that we were also able to substitute to dairy free milk options. Overall we really enjoyed and I look forward to returning.

Mint-Oreo milkshake

Went here on a Thursday afternoon; I was the only person there until a family followed me in. The workers were in the back for a bit (I believe chatting), and sort of just looked at me and continued their conversation. I stood there awkwardly for a minute or two until someone walked over to take my order. The appearance of the business was super unique. I loved the aesthetic and the mural. I ordered the Mint-oreo milkshake ($8.25) and waited about 6ish minutes for my order. It looked very appetizing, and tasted just as good. I ended up almost finishing it before I even got home. If I lived here, I could totally see myself being a regular in the summer. I also would have totally loved to try that Apple Pie milkshake. Side note: I saw in someone else's review that they thought the set-up of this business was weird, and I have to agree. The flow inside is a bit odd. I'm not sure why they don't just bring the items to the front, but it wasn't too much of a hassle just to walk to the back to grab my drink and leave. -------- Overall: *Mint-oreo milkshake: 9.8/10 *Service: 6/10 *Appearance: 9/10 Total rating: 8.3/10 (or a 4.1/5, rounded to 4/5 for Yelp) Total spent: $8.93

The line was outside the door but moved at a good pace. The menu was great. I like to see what I'm ordering before I place my order. I usually look for the sanitation rating it was no where to be found at the front. So I thought surely I'll see it when I pick up my order at the end of the counter. Nope! The inside is a MESS! You really don't see it until you receive your order and try to take a seat. Every table is dirty. There is a sign stating let us know if a table needs cleaning. You the staff should know when you see a customer leave. There are wipes at the counter for the customers to use for cleaning the tables. The wipes weren't strong enough to lift the grime off the countertops and grout. The dead roach by the garbage can did it for me! I did enjoy part of dessert.

Tasty treats with fun retro combinations. Kids would love it here! It's a little pricy but worth the price for good ice-cream and a fun vibe.

Christmas unicorn milkshake
Amanda K.

Oh boy did I enjoy this milkshake. It might be the middle of winter, but who cares? I love that there are seasonal flavors. I got the Christmas cookie, and it was spot on. My sister got the cookie butter, which was also a great flavor, but I'm not the biggest fan of cookie butter in the first place. The consistency is great too. Thick, but not so much that you can't drink it out of the straw. The atmosphere is great in there. If you couldn't tell by the name, it's 90s themed. They have menus on tvs that are easy to read and well organized. The staff is nice and overall, I really enjoyed my time here. They also have cookie sandwiches and brownies! Definitely a place to go if you love a good milkshake.

I ordered 2 milkshakes with about 4 people I front of me. 10/10 deserts, however they take forever to make them!

After the first bite, I was grinning so hard the entire time I was eating the sandwich bc I was so happy for the sandwich choose I made few minutes ago. It was perfection *chefs kiss* The Korean one was equally delicious. I enjoyed the kimchi topping, but it was not my favorite type of kimchi. Cilantro aioli added to the sandwich was nice touch! Overall, it's a quick, delicious joint that gave me such a beautiful experience! I would absolutely come back here next time I'm in the area. I wish I can magically transport this place to Triangle so I can come here all the time!

What I love about what they do is they do fusion bahn mi without it feeling like they're trying too hard to force it. The flavors go together with all the traditional bahn mi ingredients so well. They also have traditional bahn mi of course. The Vietnamese baguettes taste fresh with a little crunch on the outside soft on the inside. During this visit I went with the Korean bahn mi (Marinated beef, kimchi, jicama & cilantro aioli) and everything about the flavors popped. I was sad to finish it but I'll be back soon!

You walk up to the counter and place your order, we were the only ones there at the time so ordering was fairly quick. The young lady that took our order was polite and patient with us while we decided what we were going to order. I ordered the steak cheesesteak Dave's way with no onions, and added mayo, lettuce and tomatoe. They have a few items listed for dessert, but we were told that they were out of the banana pudding at the time. Our food was cooked to order and was piping hot when we received it. They placed my lettuce and tomatoes in a separate container which I'm grateful they did, because the lettuce was old and had a brownish tint to it. The cheesesteak was cheesy and really good. As I was eating I just noticed how dirty the place seemed. Although the staff were nice on their downtime every one was on their phone. I think they could have used that time to clean off the sticky tables, swept and mopped the floor etc. Everything just looked a bit dirty. Service was decent and fast, the food was freshly prepared and tasted great. Sanitation was a 96, not great but not bad either. If they could clean this place up and keep up with it, I could see myself coming back more often. Happy my bestie brought me by to give it a try!

The guy that took our order was super chill and even gave recs for the spice level my group and I should get. All the food took about 10 mins to be prepared. The restaurant was busy but not overly so. They were able to seat us right away. There were lots of delicious items on the menu. My friends all got the salmon (two grilled and one fried). I got the crabcake because I just have to be different, I guess. They brought out cornbread muffins with honey butter that were delicious. They were really soft and cake-like and the honey butter topping was awesome. Two of us got side salads for our side and they came out with the meal, which isn't my preference but the food came out quickly any way so it was fine. The side salads were MASSIVE. Lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and onions (removed from mine) in a huge bowl. Probably could have been a meal to itself. The food came out and there was some confusion on sides that were mismatched and all of the salmons were grilled (instead of the one fried). Everyone really enjoyed their meal. I kinda wish I had gotten the salmon because it looked amazing and really well seasoned. The crab cake I had was good too. I think it had their Garlic Parmesan Cream sauce on top. The crab cake was big and had plenty of crab. I think I would have preferred a traditional tartar sauce on the side. I got their mac and cheese for my other side. It was super creamy and cheesy. It was also topped with the garlic parmesan cream sauce. Very tasty. Service was good. Not ton of visits to the table but I don't think we ever wanted for anything. My total with tip was about $40 and I think it was worth it for all the food I got. Would be a fun place to return too! Good job, Sol'Delish!
