Just wrapped up a meeting and our boss mentioned a milkshake spot he tried before and couldn't stop talking about--so of course we had to check it out. We pulled up around 2:45 on a Thursday, right before opening, and the second those doors opened we rushed in lol. We ordered the Sweet Cheesus, You Gotta Be Pudding Me, and Build Me Up Butter Cake. All three were insanely good. The ice cream was rich, flavorful, and exactly what you need if you're craving a sugar rush. This place will absolutely satisfy your sweet tooth. The atmosphere is great too--large, clean, and spacious with a fun vibe. Definitely worth the stop. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Wow, it was so decadent. The portion size was massive. But fairly quick to come out. And the inside had corn hole and lots of seating.

I just wanted a milkshake and the employee gave great advice. He was extremely kind and helpful. I had the basic with mint chocolate chip and chocolate. Perhaps I'll come back when I'm hungrier to try the crazier milkshakes but this one was great!
Crazy Mason is adorable. If you love ice cream, you will be in heaven here. There are two full size menu's to look through. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. Games on the inside like bean bag toss and lots of photo opportunities!

They have a wide variety of shakes and even some interesting menu items like the cookie dough nachos that I highly recommend! They had kid friendly menu items which is always a plus. We got a Sweet but Salty jar milkshake, A You Gotta Be Pudding me Milkshake, & a Build me up Butter Cup jar milkshake which none of us could finish them, they're good but very sweet! I did like that they had a station to wash your jars off to take home. Overall it was a pricey but good visit.

I have been waiting for an opportunity to stop by this milkshake bar for a few weeks. Today was the day to visit this place. It mainly caters to kids in my opinion and the prices are a bit stiff for a fancy milkshake but I wanted to experience this first-hand. Service was at the counter, placing an order, then receiving a number. You are called when your dessert is ready for pickup. The cookie mash was more of an oreo milkshake with lots of frosting around the cup and a oatmeal cookie on top, along with an Oreo cookie implanted at an angle. More of an artistic impression of providing a milkshake to customers. The restrooms are very clean and the workers are probably in high school. There are 14 locations all on the east coast states that surprised me of the popularity of this concoction. I would probably return again in the far future.

You have to see the menu and photos to truly appreciate how different this business is compared to any other ice cream shops. Its uniqueness is creating a frenzy. Because of its popularity, the line is typically to the front door. You get to keep the mason jar when you are done. They have sinks so you can clean the jar before taking it home. This is a franchise business. Each store has its signature mason jar. For the Concord shop they have The Pit Stop. It looks amazing. We went at Easter so we selected different jars that we split. The Rabbit food was their featured mason jar made with cinnamon ice cream, carrot cake and many other ingredients was a good choice. The coffee flavored one was also amazing. Be sure to bring plenty of money. The prices are high...$16 for a mason jar. They are amazing, I promise. Enjoy!
Took a chance and came in 15 minutes before close. I say took a chance because I knew there would be a line! We waited 15 minutes because the two people working were trying to make orders and take new customers. To their credit, they acknowledged customers as they came in, kept a good attitude and tried to work quickly. This was my 6 year old friend's first time and she was amazed at the options. This time I tried the cobbler. Not sure if I'd go for that again. Not fresh, tasted unthawed from a box. But if that's what you're expecting, not bad. She got two scoops in a cone with cotton candy on top. We enjoyed playing the free corn hole game while waiting for our orders. The creations are pretty cool and are huge. We had to bring half of them home. They weren't terribly busy but the tables in the sitting area could have used a quick cleaning. I think these would have been better with a standard ice cream instead of soft serve. read more

Ice Cream. Candy. Whipped Cream. All served in a family friendly environment with cornhole boards. What's not to like? Crazy Mason takes ice cream treats to an over the top level as each mason treat is topped with cake or candy. Don't eat a big dinner before because you will not be able to finish your treat. Order at the counter and your treat will be ready for pickup in a few minutes. I had Cookie Butter Takeover. The ice cream mixed well with the waffle, Butterfinger, and other toppings. The ice cream itself is on the softer side so it did melt a little quicker than I would have preferred. The service was extremely slow. The confusing this was there was at least 6 people working. The ice cream was great but the cupcake and brownie inside the ice cream was stale. The slowly impacted the experience. Hope things improve before summer read more

My son and I have been anticipating the opening of the crazy Mason. We decided to stop by on a Sunday, and it was packed. We tried to give it a few days after their grand opening hoping it wouldn't be as bad. We were wrong! The decor, art, and selfie wall were super cute! It felt like forever before we got to order our deserts. The staff were super friendly, and it didn't take long for us to receive our deserts after ordering, which was nice. My son ordered the "you got to be fudging me" milkshake, which was a chocolate shake with chocolate syrup, brownie, chocolate chips, chocolate whipped cream and a Hershey bar! My son really enjoyed it and gave it a 10/10 I ordered a peach cobbler with ice cream. The ice cream was yummy, but the cobbler was watery and way too sweet.. I ended up just eating the ice cream. These deserts aren't cheap, so keep that in mind. My cobbler was 8, and my sons milkshake was 17. We'll be back for a special treat, and I'll get myself a milkshake next time! I'm happy to have them as a new addition to the neighborhood! read more

We originally tried the crazy Mason when it was in a bowling alley a few years ago now they have their own location on the corner of Main and Highway 17. Delicious every time go with an empty stomach because these things will fill you up. Also, you're able to wash out your mason jar on site and take it home with you as a souvenir. read more

Holy cow.... This place has some extravagant milkshakes and dessert options! You better come to this place with an appetite! There's no way I could have finished my crazy mason alone. We got the "sweet cheesus" and it was delicious. The milkshake just tasted like a strawberry milkshake, but had lots of strawberries and syrup in it. The rim was delicious with icing and graham cracker crumbles. It comes with a full cheesecake slice on it! All of the crazy masons have amazing presentation and you can wash and take your mason jar home (it's glass). Such a good concept, with fun vibes and decor. read more

This place is soooo cute! I went here for date night and had a good time. Service was great and surprisingly the line wasn't long this time!! They always have a long line which should tell you how good they are! I got the small cookies and cream and my boyfriend got the regular size. They also let you keep the mason jars which is pretty cool too! We will definitely be returning! read more
Super creative dessert shop that was needed in concord. Only issue is the location, it should have been in a place with a much larger parking lot due to the guaranteed traffic they are going to have due to being near concord mills. The service was good especially for a Sunday and consistent crowds. We were out in about 30 mins and again, it was busy. I have been wanting to try this place since they opened. Every time we drove by the line was out the door. We happened to be driving by on a Saturday around 6pm and there was no line. We park, go inside and the line was backed up to the door, but not out the door. I decided to wait it out. It took about 15 mins to get through the line. Ordering was efficient, and it took about 20 mins to get my milkshake. Th kitchen/prepping area is open and right behind the counter. You can watch the employees make each order. I ordered a small strawberry short milk shake. $17. It was really pretty. The cake on top was extremely dry, but the milkshake itself was good. They have a sink in the dining area where you can wash out the plastic jar and take it with you. read more

Brand new milkshake bar located in Concord, NC. They have very creative milkshakes, loads of options and have other desserts you can get as well. The service is good. It can take a while to get your desserts due to the crowd Crazy Mason draws and also these desserts do not look easy to make. You also get to keep your mason jar if you get a milkshake which is cool. These are on the pricier side in my opinion but overall still a nice treat every once in a while especially for children. There is also a green wall to take photos. read more

If you're looking for a sweet (but pricey) treat, then check out crazy mason. My husband and I stopped by a few weeks ago 20 minutes before closing and you'd never guess it was closing soon as the place was packed! There was a line but it moved pretty quickly. I ordered a red velvet simple milkshake, which was quite good. It had cake pieces mixed in. Texture was quite thick and decadent. My husband ordered the Salty But Sweet milkshake, which comes with a brownie on top and a bunch of sweetness on the side. While I think the milkshakes are good, the other parts are just okay. The brownie was nothing to write home about. You also pay more for fancy milkshakes as it comes with the mason jar, which you can take home. Hopefully there's an option to bring back the mason jar as I could see where that would generate a lot of unnecessary waste to the planet and at home. read more

Went to the one in Fort Mill last night for my mom's birthday. The milkshakes are so delicious. I definitely think it's a bit overpriced so it's not an everyday thing. The milkshakes we ordered came out fast and they looked so good I wanted to eat all of them. read more

I saw this new hot spot in town on Instagram. It looked cool and I'm a fan of desserts so I had to check it out. There's free parking on the premises. The interior is an open concept with tables and chairs. The line wasn't too long. There were two families ahead of me. There's a merch wall with shirts and hoodies. There's also a grass wall that would make a nice backdrop for pictures. There's a bathroom there. There is also a sink area so that you can clean your mason jars. The customer service was great. I ordered the sweet but salty. The Salty but Sweet consists of Salted caramel brownie ice cream, chocolate frosting, chocolate-covered pretzels, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, brownie, hot fudge, and whipped topping. I'm happy that I arrived when I did. The line was to the door. The wait wasn't long, no more than 10 minutes. The presentation was amazing! I'd revisit it, it was yummy! read more

It's a NO for me! The outside and inside of the shop looks festive. A great deal of effort was placed in the decor and painting of this ice cream shop. The customer service was completely lacking. The ice ceam was not overly expensive like most ice cream shops but the consistency and overall flavor was mediocre. I asked the cashier if they had Wi-Fi only because one of the Yelp questions asked if you could bring your laptop. She went and asked someone and said yes they have Wi-Fi but no one knows the passcode but she seemed to be annoyed with the question. After placing your order, you are given a number to put on your table, but no one brings the ice cream out to you. You have to go to the counter to retrieve it. Me and my friend ordered waffle cones I had double scoop with banana pudding flavored ice cream as well as butter pecan. The shop is stingy with the scoops. Nothing about today's visit would make me a repeat customer unless I was comiing in for a photo op! The inside is super cute and gives brunch vibes make that dull lunch vibes. read more
