First time trying out OMG Donuts. The young lady at the counter was nice and explained a few things for us regarding why the boxes on the menu were numbered. The shelves were well stocked for a Sunday afternoon so we were able to try out quite a few different flavors of donuts. We brought our box home and I tried part of the strawberry shortcake donut which was really good as well as a bite of the apple fritter, also yummy. I then went for a taste of the chocolate covered Bavarian cream filled, and well....she didn't fill it. It was just the donut NO FILLING. This should never happen at a donut shop. I mean, isn't that part of the process on a filled donut? While the donut itself was good I cannot comment on the filling. (And this kind is my favorite donut) We did get four of these in total so I hope the others are filled) The storefront is nice. It has a few tables inside to enjoy a donut and coffee if you'd like. It was clean and like I said we had plenty of donuts to choose from but I have heard they sell out from time to time. read more

Donuts were great! Light, airy and not overly sweet. Employees answered questions when asked and had an efficient method of keeping customer traffic flowing smoothly. I enjoyed all the donut flavors I tried but blueberry was a personal favorite. I also tried the apple fritter which was fried to perfection, however it was a little too sweet for me. Heading out of Charlotte and I was looking for a treat to take on the road. Super cute doughnut shop. I had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Strawberry Shortcake filled with Vanilla Cream. Both were amazing but the Strawberry Shortcake tasted just like the ice cream from the ice cream truck. And the chai latte with oak milk was great as well! For some reason it has become a family tradition to find a good donuts shop whenever we are traveling. So I scouted this place out. We arrived at about 6:30 AM and we're greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. Then there were the visual of these amazing donuts. We were a group of 5 so we decided on a dozen. Each person selected 2 of the ones that they wanted, then we selected as a group 2 more we could all taste. The donuts were fresh, flavorful and the combinations were great. They helped us start the hours long drive that we had ahead and it was great. I will say the prices were a bit astonishing. The menu has a breakdown that forces you to read. Because there are levels to an assortment based on the kinds of donuts you get. What makes it a bit unfair is once you select the combinations you are at the top tier price, so there is no adjustment made when you throw in plain or basic donuts with it. This dozen donuts was $30.00 which is a bit pricey. But single donuts were as high as $3.00. I will say the work they do to create such art is what you are paying for. So enjoy ! read more

After visiting my cousin and before heading to the beach, we made a visit to this unique donut shop called OMG. It was a clean, colorful, cozy place with friendly and helpful staff. There were so many variety of donuts such as pineapple fritter, apple fritter, maple bacon, red velvet and MTO stuffed filling donuts in which you have 5 flavors to choose from. They have delicious lattes, beverages and surprisingly offer Vietnamese iced coffee too. We will definitely make another visit in the near future. This place is a hidden gem. Ironically it is hidden in a location that is easy to miss near Concord Mills. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable when I had questions. They have donut selections that are different from the average. You have to try the maple bacon. I didnt think I would like it, but it's now one of my favorites. The apple fritters are huge and a favorite as well. They open early am and close early. They sell out fast. I was informed that they bake fresh daily and once they sell out they don't make more for the day. Great selections and a must try! read more

I have been to 6 places in Tennessee and nothing comes close to CA donuts. Came here for work for a week and this place happened to be down the street from my hotel and I wanted to take a box of donuts in to this location. BOMB. A tad pricy but soooo good. Loved my apple fritter! I didn't have anything else but the guys devoured them and one guy had up to three! lol Thinking about stopping in tomorrow on our way to the airport. I don't get to go to a lot of smaller bakeries with my fiancé because they're not usually very good with allergen cross contamination, and he is allergic to tree nuts. I called ahead to ask about their allergy policies, and the girl IMMEDIATELY rattled off all the things they do to keep nuts separate: spray and wipe down every surface that has touched nuts before preparing something without nuts, change out their gloves after touching nuts, and keep all the donuts with nuts on the bottom tray of the display so none of the toppings can fall onto other donuts. They clearly care a lot about keeping everyone safe! The donuts were probably the best donuts I've ever had - super soft, fluffy, and SO much flavor. They add filling on request, which was very fun to see, and the donuts are also pretty big. Came here for the first time today with my brother, niece & nephew and wow, the girl working the counter was not only unfriendly but very rude. There was a couple sitting behind us (as we were ordering) enjoying their donuts and the gentleman got up to exchange his unopened coke bottle for a Dr Pepper. When he did that the girl rudely states "ima have to charge you for that!" He tells her that he was simply exchanging because the expiration date on the coke was recent. She gives him a stern look and stares him down unbelievably. He restates what he was doing. She finally lets it go and comes back to help us. We ordered two glaze donuts, a twist and a salted caramel donut. We asked if it was possible to get one donut hole for my 3 year old nephew (this was his first time trying a donut) and she annoyingly says "i can only do 6". Ok fine. We checkout and my niece walks over to the fridge to grab a drink. My nephew follows behind her but stays standing in front of the fridge after my niece walked back to the register. The girl stares my 3 year old nephew down. We tell her that he isnt going to take anything. She doesnt respond, continues to stare him down and doesnt ring us up until i go over to grab him. Now what did the couple and my family all have in common...? We're all Black. This place was on my yelp list to check out and needless to say, because of the young girl with glasses and long black hair who works the counter, me and my family will not be returning. read more

Really enjoyed my experience at OMG Donuts & Bakery. Though it was a quick visit, this unassuming bakery off the "main drag" in Concord has certainly been added to my places to revisit. After being greeted by the smell of fresh donuts, the friendly staff pointed out some of their best selling items (maple bacon donut & apple fritters) and I was excited to try something new. My daughter ended up getting a chocolate frosted with sprinkles and I tried the maple bacon both donuts looked amazing and (didn't think it would be possible) tasted even better. The maple bacon was warm, soft, both sweet and savory and it even had a slight crunch to it. I will definitely be back to grab another (or a half dozen) one of the finest donuts in the area. Absolutely knocks it out of the park when it comes to donuts. I like the feature of allowing customers to choose their own fillings. One suggestion, because I didn't see it there, would be to offer angel filling as an option. I'm not personally a fan of angel filling, but some people prefer it to Bavarian cream.
