Staff greeted me with a smile, and passed the order over. Rolls looked great. Second order just yesterday was a much different experience. I had received text message that my order would be ready at 10:15. Arrive at 10:15, am told she just opened at 10, so it's not ready. She had not put them in to cook yet. Tables were not cleaned, chairs were still stacked up, trash bin was overflowing. 20 minutes later she hands me the box that is falling apart. At least the rolls were warm. The service was decent overall, but the experience felt pretty average and nothing really stood out. It would be nice if they offered a wider variety of drinks, like soft drinks or smoothies, to elevate the menu a bit. The space itself is a small, simple café with a few tables and chairs perfectly fine, but not somewhere I'd necessarily go out of my way to return to. Our family loves Cinnaholic. Anytime we come across one we have to stop in. Unfortunately this location is consistently out of ingredients. We've been to this location three times and every time we've been they have been out of the PB sauce. The last time they were out of strawberries. My sweet tooth and I absolutely loved this place. We tried a few things during our visit. We started with the Caramel Apple Pie Roll. It's was warm and amazing. When I got inside, there were 3 people waiting on their order, so I was standing there waiting for my order to be taken. When she finally took it, IT TOOK FOREVER for them to fulfill the orders. There seemed to be some confusion with the first 2 guys who were waiting when I first walked in. It took awhile for the staff to get their order corrected and fulfilled. I only got 1 bun with cake batter icing. Simple. It was delicious like the other Cinnaholics I go to, BUT this bun was much smaller. When I walked into this location, the employee was so nice and super helpful, as the menu can be a lot for a first time visitor. I ended up getting the caramel apple pie, but subbing the caramel icing for cream cheese icing. I wasn't expecting the apples on the roll to be cold, so that threw the experience off a bit for me. But the roll was soft, and the icing was tasty - not too sweet. After just one visit, this is my new favorite sweet treat spot! I was a little overwhelmed when I first walked in. There were so many good flavor combinations, as well the ability to build your own. Ultimately, I decided to go with the hot chocolate cinnamon bun since it was National Hot Chocolate Day. My coworker told me I have to come. So I grabbed the three guys in my house and we planned a date. (Planned date was better because I tried to go on a whim and couldn't find it. If you are directionally challenged, it's next to Supercuts). They are keeping things safe: staff wear masks, the person touching the food wears gloves, limited number of people inside, contactless payments including emailed or texted receipts, sanitizer available, table separates you and the cashier, very clean inside, one table outside if you care to eat there, the dining room is closed. Cinnaholic caught my eye as I was waiting in traffic and figured "why not" since traffic wasn't going anywhere. It's a nice little spot and the staff, entire staff, greets you when you walk in!
