After dinner while walking around Charlotte, we felt like having dessert. Our son found this great place. We walked in and there were no other customers. Then a gentleman walked out from the back and welcomed us in. I didn't get his name, but he was great. Very energetic and offered suggestions. If I hadn't already had dinner recently, I would have tried one of the suggestions. We went with traditional vanilla shake and a raspberry shake. Both shakes were delicious with the perfect consistency. There's also chocolate and fudge options as well. While we were there enjoying our magic shakes, more customers started flowing in. By the time we left, there was a fairly steady flow of customers. The restaurant itself has a great legacy dating back to 1914 in Pennsylvania. It does have the old cafe vibe that was appealing. There's plenty of seating. Note: As we were leaving I thanked him for everything and to have a great evening. He replied with the same and a happy new year. Then he thanked me for my service. (I was wearing a retired Marine hat) I never expect to hear that, but that made my night. We would definitely eat here again, you should as well.

While on a stroll through uptown Charlotte, my daughters and I stumbled upon Milkshake Factory. It's a cute shop that specializes in milkshakes and chocolate bark. It even has vegan shakes (a bonus for my in-laws). The staff were friendly and were kind enough to answer all of my questions (I ask a lot lol). My eldest got the Cookie Jar shake. She really enjoyed it (I thought it was tad too sweet for my liking). I got the Caramel Toffee Cappuccino shake. Now this hit the spot. I don't normally go for stuff that has coffee ice cream because it can be bitter, but everything was well balanced! It is a little pricey but IMO, worth it. Shakes range from about $9-$11. My youngest opted for chocolate bark vice shakes. She liked the cookie bark, the smores bark, and the cookies & cream bark. This will be on our list of go-tos when we come back to town and need a sweet treat!

We're visiting from out of state and we're looking for something sweet to top off the night. Milkshake Factory hit the spot just right! They've got a handful of tables inside and options for both milkshakes and chocolate bark squares. The establishment is clean and service was quick & friendly. We went with the s'mores milkshake and a piece of peanut butter chocolate bark. OMG! My husband usually isn't a big chocolate lover but it was his idea to get the chocolate bark so that's how I knew it was good. The milkshake was perfection in a cup.

Great addition to uptown when you're craving a treat....a splurge treat. In addition to milkshakes that can also be made non-dairy, they have many chocolate bark varieties. I had the bananas foster milkshake with almond milk and can't stress enough how amazing it is to have choices! I can't wait to return on my next splurge day.

We stumbled upon this place after eating lunch with family. This place is pretty neat. The kids (and adults) were able to try the different chocolate bars. I believe you can try whatever you like. I don't like chocolate...I know right. So yes, I was there to have a vanilla milkshake. The shake was good, sweet, but good. I had to give the final 1/3 to my daughter. Would I come back, of course. The staff was welcoming and nice. The place was really clean and well stocked.

I absolutely love this place and will continue to come here. Their milkshakes are phenomenal, but their chocolate bark is even better. It's like once you have one you'll keep coming back and I have to resist myself at times lol. I definitely recommend this place. The service is great and the place is clean inside with a nice set up.

Toffee something forgot the name sorry

Really good, a little pricy but it's perfect everytime. Cool little spot, everytime I've gone it's never been busy. There's a parking garage across the street. Or can always drop someone off and go around twice haha. Looking for some dessert, stop on by. My wife and I share one and it's enough.

On this particular visit, I sat on the patio, which I had never done before, but it was nice and quiet and very relaxing on a Sunday evening. I ordered the cheesecake and it was garnished with caramel popcorn, which added a nice touch to look at, but the popcorn was stale so I don't really think it was necessary, but it did make the plate look pretty. The cheesecake was delicious. Couldn't finish it all, but I took it home and finished it the next day. Our server was great. She was very attentive, friendly, and gave good suggestions. But a good friend of mine said that they go all the time and haven't had any issues and wanted to get me to try it again. So, we went on a Saturday evening around 6ish. We didn't necessarily have any issues getting in, but the hostess did say that her security might have an issue with the shirt my friend had on, even though he was very dressed up. It made me uncomfortable and seemed threatning almost. But she let us in and everything was fine. I don't understand why Crave always acts this way. But then when I walk in I see people of non-color dressed any kind of way, casual, etc. It just really rubs me the wrong way and for it to happen to me EVERY time I go, only leads me to one conclusion... So, anyway. We were there and we ordered hookah drinks and had a good time. Our server was super sweet and chill. She really saved the visit. I had a good time, but I most likely will not be back again.

The shop is very small, they have a good selection of flavors, and it is all dairy, egg, and gluten free. You honestly would never know! It tasted exactly how ice cream should. Great mouth feel, rich, but not sweet. We tried the chocolate with cookies and Oreo pieces and the mint chip. Very very tasty. Again, if they did not tell you this was dairy free, you could not tell at all. They offer tastes, you can get one or two scoops or waffle cones, or ice cream sandwiches, and I think you can ask for sprinkles. They have a friendly staff behind the counter. They are also cashless, so be sure to have a credit card here. I would definitely come back for another flavor, I was really wowed by this ice cream. If you are in Camp North End, stop in for a scoop.

They lost several customers yesterday, and we will not be returning after this experience. After talking to a lawyer, they believe this is predatory enforcement, and we will file a complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and with the Better Business Bureau. Two Scoops Creamery on Central Avenue went from being one of our favorite spots to somewhere we will never return in less than a minute. We met up with a group of friends there today. Before grabbing ice cream, we briefly stopped into Sin City next door. As one of our friends was walking in, he noticed cars in the shared parking lot were actively being booted. We had been there maybe 15 minutes. Apparently, if you step into the neighboring business at all -- even if you're planning to purchase from Two Scoops immediately after -- they will boot your car and demand $275 to remove it. We spoke directly with the staff at Two Scoops and explained that we were simply meeting up and didn't realize stepping next door wasn't allowed. The response was essentially, "Too bad." There was no grace, no warning, no attempt at understanding -- just an immediate $275 penalty. It feels like an incredibly predatory and unethical practice, especially for loyal customers who intended to support the business. We didn't even stay for ice cream, and we won't be back.
