These waffles were so good I forgot to take a picture! We got a chocolate chip waffle for 3 of us to share, but we all ended up going back for our own because they were so delicious. I think this was seriously the best waffle I've ever had. I can't wait to come back
A quick stop proved a delicious one as I enjoyed a bacon, bacon waffle. The creamy Brie, crunchy pearl sugar, and savory bacon were a combination I didn't know I needed. Thanks for a yummy snack!
First time having a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on waffles and it did not disappoint. I ended up ordering a second one! It's everything you love about a classic bacon, egg, and cheese, but sandwiched between two waffles with a crispy crust of syrup. Yum yum yum!

When I saw this place had Leige waffles I knew I needed to try it. But then you load it with berries, Nutella and whip cream and I was sold. Great sweet treat to end our tour of Charlotte and will be back again for sure.
If you are in Charlotte, this place is a mandatory stop. Period. My wife and I went to the 7th Street Market for Geno D's Pizza (also excellent, highly recommend) and after dinner we were craving something sweet and saw this place just down the aisle so we decided to give it a shot. Good Lord, we were not expecting to have perhaps the best dessert we've ever tasted... Unfortunately, I can't even remember what it was called, and I don't see it on the menu on Yelp, but it was a waffle with Oreo, ice cream, cookie butter + ??? Whatever it was, it was incredible, and we can't wait to get it again. I'm salivating just writing this review... Gotta go get some Sweet Crunch!
The waffles weren't too sweet which is good, but they definitely could have used more sauce.. syrup.. something! Definitely a nice little treat but not something that I'd crave just because they were a bit underwhelming. I do like that the waffles were fresh and made to order. The stand was cute as well.
Holy moly this is the easiest 5 star review of my life. Staff is super friendly, prices are decent and the waffles are incredible. The brioche style waffle with the sugar pearls that give the crunch is woowww. I got the cookies and cream waffle which had Oreo crumble, whip, and cookie butter drizzle. Perfect size for how rich it is. Really wish I lived closer to frequent this place but I'd gain too much weight lol. Run, don't walk to this spot!

The ladies behind the counter were very nice and helpful. I settled on the June Waffle Jam and my son chose the Cookie Butter Crunch. The waffles are made fresh to order so they come out piping hot. As I watched them prep the order, it looked like a good size for the price. I was a little disappointed when I saw the actual size. They're too pricey for the size they offer, but they were delicious. The waffles were perfectly cooked and had a decent amount of toppings.

It was scrumptious. The flavor profile was amazing. There's chunks of real crispy bacon in every single bite. It was loaded with the creamest bri, which brought out the sweetness of the waffle base. The syrup was just an added bonus. I couldn't have imagined that a waffle could be so darn good. Yep, go get a waffle with a soup of ice cream. Why be basic when you can be extraordinary. Convenience yourself the walk is worth the calories; I did! Nextime, I'm get everything doused in chocolate with cookies cause it's that freakn good!

I would've never thought to put waffles and ice cream together, but now it just makes sense! The way they make their batter is pretty cool too. I enjoyed the crystallized crunch inside of the waffle and there was just enough cinnamon sprinkled on top. Customer service is great. Super friendly staff members and they're very knowledgeable of their process. I'm certainly a fan and will be visiting again soon! I love that they're in the 7th street market because it's a place that we frequent.
Thanks to Yelp I found the hidden gem and got a taste of heaven!! Omg the hit waffle and ice cream was served!! I had the coffee flavor and it was perfect for a mid day snack! But what took me over the edge was the lady bringing the food to me. Talked about above and beyond service and food!! Highly recommend this treat! read more
I ordered the June Special- Strawberry Shortcake, which is an OG waffle, fresh strawberries, condensed milk, and graham cracker topped with whipped cream. There's a bit of a wait but only because they make each waffle fresh! It was soft but crispy and there was a perfect ratio of the toppings to waffle. YUM! One of my favorite finds on my recent vacation to Charlotte, located in The Market at 7th Street. They have a delicious selection of fresh-made waffles with yummy toppings. The primary focus is the waffles, but they also have a cooler with a small selection of canned and bottled drinks. The employees are friendly and efficient, and will bring your order out to you at a table in the food hall once it's ready. I ordered the Bacon, Bacon waffle, which had bacon, brie, and hot honey. It was delicious! The melty brie and the crunchy bacon had a great texture, and the hot honey gave it a slight kick. My friend had the Berry Loaded waffle, with strawberries, blueberries, Nutella, and whipped cream. The fruit and whipped cream were both very fresh. And they don't skimp on the toppings - you get all the flavors in every bite. Definitely a place with crave-worthy treats that I'll be sure to visit any time I'm in Charlotte. read more

Sweet Crunch Waffles quietly arrived from a very special city in my heart: Tallahassee, FL. And I am so excited they are now in the Queen City because WHEW, this is my kinda sweet spot!!! Last night I stopped by to check them out in 7th Street Market and I was not disappointed. Amazing customer service :) I ordered the "berry loaded" sweet waffle - it had berries, nutella and whipped cream. They make the waffle fresh to order so it comes out hot!!! It was delicious, the perfect portion of everything. The texture of the waffle was literally perfection lol. It wasn't too sweet, it really was just right. I highly recommend this spot any time! We went after taking a walk around Uptown and it really made for a great evening. Can't wait to go back!!! read more
I love a good liege waffle and was excited when this opened up at 7th Street Market. They have a variety of sweet waffle combinations or savory waffle combinations if you want to try their creations. Or you can opt to create your own combinations. During my first visit, I chose the savory bacon bacon waffle combination. It had melted brie cheese slices, chopped up bacon, and hot honey drizzle. It wasn't busy, since I came around 3PM on a Wednesday. I placed my order and once it was done, he brought it over to me at my table. Super nice service and friendly team member! The waffle itself was delicious. Had the pops of sweetness from the sugar pearls as expected from a liege waffle. I could probably eat 3-4. The brie cheese and bacon on top was good and I enjoyed the sweet and salty combination. However, I could personally have done without the hot honey. The honey made it's little too sweet for my liking. If the honey had more of a kick to it, then I might have enjoyed it more. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I will be back to try other combinations. read more

I love liege waffles, but they aren't easy to find in Charlotte. I know of two other places to find them, so I was excited when this spot opened. Obviously I had to get them while at the Market at 7th St. I decided to get a BYOWaffle with a Cinnamon-Sugar Base, Strawberries, Whipped Cream, Marshmallow, Icing, and Caramel Sauce. This was a fantastic combination and I loved it. They don't skimp on the toppings which I appreciate. I'll be back to try one of their savory waddles next time! read more

SOOOO GOOD!!! Got a chocolate covered waffle with peanut butter drizzle and whipped cream on top. To say this is my favorite food in Charlotte is an understatement. It was so delicious. Employees were so kind here and helped recommend me what to try for my first time stopping by. They also helped validate my parking which was such a nice treat! Food is ready fast, warm, and obviously with some care. Highly recommend stopping here! read more

My husband did the maple bacon. Both were a 5/5. Its in the middle of 7th street market. Plenty of seating. Directly off the light rail. Lots to do around the area. This place is a hidden gem. Although the chairs in the dinning area are very uncomfortable, the food makes up for this shortcoming. My husband and I like to have Sunday morning breakfast here as we take a small break from our twins. The owners of Sweet Crunch are very prompt with their high quality cooking and make sure we leave each time very satisfied. I would like for them to use compostable or biodegradable forks and spoons, but baby steps. I first started with the berries waffle and then switched to the s'mores waffle. Both are tastebud explosions worth repeating. The prices are very reasonable. It would be great if they expanded into the West Side (me being selfish here). Ha! Parking is validated by the Sweet Crunch team, so be sure to bring them your parking slip. If you haven't visited, you are missing out. Best waffles in all of the Queen City. read more
Oh dear...I have another vice in 7th St Market aka the place where diets go to die. After lunch from Geno D's and wine from the wine shop, we grabbed dessert from SCW. The Good: the waffles were BOMB. These are not your "Belgium waffles" you may have had from IHOP - these are the real deal. Small, doughy, and crunchy from the caramelization from the sugar pearls embedded in the dough. We share the Maple Bacon waffle and added Nutella because Nutella belongs on EVERYTHING. It was amazing. Not too sweet which was just right for me. I loved the caramelized sweetness added with the different types of sweetness from the maple drizzle and Nutella. My partner had never had Nutella but had waffles in Belgium and gave SCW a big thumbs up saying they were spot on to the waffles in Liege. I absolutely can't wait to come back and try the Bacon and Brie waffle. The guy and girl manning the operation (maybe the owners?) were extremely friendly as well. The Meh: I had to share this waffle with my partner because calories....bleh. I want my own haha. The Bad: nothing - try these nuggets of deliciousness like NOW! As with all vendors in 7th St Market, they're easily accessible on the train and parking validation is located in the market for the nearby garage. read more

Wow! This waffle was everything I needed and more. So delicious and the staff was equally amazing. If I lived a little closer I would be here way too often (hint hint: bring one to Steele creek). Anyways, the waffles are made to order, they're soft, hot and the strawberries were fresh. They have a few preset options or you can customize to your liking. If you need a drink to go along with your waffle they have a drink case with water, teas, soda etc. 5/5 can't wait to come back again. read more

This was my first time at Sweet Crunch Waffles and it did not disappoint. I got the cinnamon waffle with coffee ice cream and cookie butter drizzle. The waffle itself was this thick and tasty. It had the perfect out of crunch on the outside and was soft on the inside. I typically don't like coffee but the coffee ice cream had a very light taste and paired well with the waffle. Overall a fun experience and i look forward to trying more waffles. read more

Holy sweet and delicious! Liege waffles are my favorite to begin with - the little crunches of sugar crystals inside the waffle make my heart happy. Stopped in with my son on vacation - waffles are his favorite. This spot is inside the most delightful indoor food market with a great coffee spot next door! My kiddo picked the S'mores waffle which he declares to be "amazing!" And I agree! It has the perfect amount of sweetness on top without being too sugary sweet. The staff was very sweet. I will definitely come back ....maybe even on this trip! read more
As soon as my wife and I learned of this place it went right to the top of our list of places we have to visit! It's conveniently located in 7th street station, right off the light rail. They have a nice selection of amazing waffles with your choice of toppings, or choose from one their pre-made offerings like the maple bacon waffle that I had. The waffle itself is different from other waffles you may have had in the past since it uses more of a dough than a batter to make them. The result is something that will have you coming back over and over again. The girl working during my visit was super friendly and helpful in answering out questions. I'm definitely looking forward to going back and trying a different waffle. read more

First time coming to Sweet Crunch! I came with a friend for a Yelp Elite event and ordered the Maple Bacon waffle. Our cashier was very kind and quick with our order! Once I got my waffle I noticed how evenly spread the bacon was. The presentation was excellent, the flavor wasn't overpowering and the waffle wasn't too sweet. It was a perfect combination of sweet and savory and the syrup was warm and very tasty! I will definitely be making a trip back here to sample more of their menu. I did get a bite of the cinnamon and coffee ice cream waffle with cookie butter drizzle and it was absolutely mouth watering. I did not get a pic of it though! read more
