The donuts are awesome. The cinnamon rolls are some of the best. I would check if they are actually open before you go. Don't drive out of your way to find out they are randomly closed for "a break." read more

My wife and I stopped looking for a cream filled donut. Unfortunately we picked the wrong place. You do get 5 fillings to choose from but it did not include a cream filling. They had buttercream (think frosting) which is definitely not the same. We still got donuts, chocolate iced. They were good but when you have your heart set on a cream filled donut it's not quite fulfilling. The service was mediocre at best, neither person behind the counter was outgoing or very friendly, especially the cashier. We may return at some point but doubtful. read more

One word, amazing. It is ran by a family and you can tell they LOVE the customers! I'm a student at East Meck, so this is a perfect morning stop before the day starts, and they never miss with my Hot Chai Latte. Only downside is they close by 3pm, but besides this- I love everything about OMG Donuts. Inside has a beautiful cozy feel to it, they have a few things painted on the walls and a plant section in front of the window, and outside they have tables to sit at when the weather gets cooler. I love them! read more

These are some delicious donuts. They are relatively a new spot to the area establishing themselves with the last year. When I entered, I was greeted and was able to make a selection. The place was clean, and there were several people eating there. My cinnamon roll Donut was nice and fluffy. Their prices are comparable to many other dessert spots, such as cupcake shops, or cookie shops however, it is donuts so a little pricier for a donut compared to Dunkin' Donuts or Krispy Kreme. There are some shared parking spaces in front of the store that are shared with the other businesses. The staff were friendly and attentive. I'm not sure if they have awards program no program was mentioned during my purchase. Hope you enjoy. read more

I recently went to an Yelp Elite event and they had OMG Donut and when I bit into the donut it really made me say OMG. It was one of the best donuts I have ever tasted. I use to say Krispy cream but I think OMG got them. They were amazing. I can see myself ordering some for work and for special event. Just average. Coffee was local but not fresh, a little thick. Got a creme filled donut that they pumped with the filling of my choice....after the donut had been sitting there for who knows how long. I like the options here, but when you ask for a cream filled donut, I should not be getting a cold donut and watching a machine pump it up. read more

I love this fresh donut filling concept!! They have several types of fresh donut shells to choose from, then they fill the shells to order with a choice of jelly, custard, chocolate pudding, lemon, or vanilla cream ( they call it butter cream which makes you think of frosting, but it's not). They also have fresh glazed donuts (with a hole) with various toppings already made. The pricing is confusing, with different prices for different toppings, so be sure to ask. Brewed coffee is better than the specialty coffee shop down the street. I've been here twice, with the same nice lady working. She's not American, so you don't get that syrupy southern charm, but she is polite enough, just not too talkative. Give it a try and see what you think. read more

Some of the best donuts around! They were light and fluffy, not dry at all. Catch the cereal flavored donuts early, the cereal eventually loses its crunch. Customer service was A1, my server was patient, knowledgeable and helpful with flavor decisions. Also, pointed out it's cheaper to buy by the 1/2 or whole dozen. OK! OMG should stand for Outrageous Money for Goopy Donuts. I paid $24 for a dozen of mixed donuts. Now if they were fantastic or special in some way it wouldn't bother me but they were nothing special - a couple jelly filled, a couple glazed, a couple sprinkled with few other average type donuts mixed in. If you've had Krispie Kreme you know that it's the gold standard for glazed donuts. These were so, so sweet and dry. The worst were the filled - you know how sometimes you wish there was a little more jelly in your Duncan's? I had to squish our some of the jelly from these. Honestly, it was like eating jelly straight from the jar with a spoon. The other donuts weren't much better. It took me over 45 minutes to make the 8 mile round trip from my hotel (granted it was rush hour and the school zones were active). I would have been better off stopping at the grocery store for my donuts. At least I'd be $14 richer. read more

I couldn't be happier to have recently moved into the neighborhood and stopped by this place. The donuts are delicious - not super greasy, but perfectly light and just the right amount of sweet. The classic glazed donut is a classic, but my favorite is the strawberry glazed - it tastes like REAL strawberry, not some fake flavoring. The people working behind the counter were super sweet and helpful. I know there are other donut places in Charlotte, but I don't know if I care - OMG Donuts has my heart! read more

We are visiting from out of town. Not knowing much about our donut options, I searched and found OMG donuts. They are tucked away on a two-sided strip mall. Good thing we went beyond the pizza joint to find it! Full disclosure we got there relatively late for donuts, about 10:30 am or so. Our kind waiter shared that their donuts or made from scratch daily and that their best seller, the maple bacon donut had long since sold out. Our granddaughter had no problem picking her vanilla sprinkled donut. We were torn with our selections but ultimately picked buttermilk crumble, cinnamon sugar, cinnamon roll, two filled (they had a least 5 different fillings - strawberry jelly and lemon, our choices, raspberry jelly, vanilla, Bavarian crème and chocolate cream. We haven't eaten them all yet but so worth the trip and so glad that we stumbled across the shop! We'll definitely go back read more

Visited around 2 PM on a Sunday with a group of 4....Also purchased a dozen for a meeting the next day. The dozen was still fresh the next day! Everyone enjoyed! Can we also talk about how large these doughnuts are?! There was a large variety of creative flavors available, you won't be disappointed. P.S. You can pick the filling for doughnuts. This donut shop is tucked in a tight corner of a small shopping center. I went on a Sunday (light to zero traffic in the area) so parking wasn't an issue. The variety was limited but I did get the Oreo cookie donut - surprisingly great - and a few other standard selections that weren't too fresh. read more

The location was easy to find and parking available in the plaza. The store was clean and had seating available. The donut case was filled with delicious donuts, it was hard to decide on one...so I order an extra half dozen. There were some very happy bellies at home. However, while we were there, we had a vanilla dipped sprinkle donut and it was perfection. Soft, fluffy donut and the perfect amount of glaze and sprinkles. My little girl was a huge fan too. The apple fritter was to die for! Literally cannot say enough good things about it, I can't even put it into words how good it was. The perfect texture and sweetness. Mhmm! OMG Donuts has been on my list to try for some time. I visited the last time at the other location but they were sold out! So I am happy to learn there are two locations. The shop is cute with a few options to sit either inside and outside. As soon as you walk in, you can see the assortment of donuts on display. I tried the buttermilk donut (as you can see I bit the donut before getting a good photo lol). The buttermilk donut was so soft, moist, and fresh! I will definitely make sure to get this again. I also tried the Apple fritter which was ok. The ends were crispier than my liking but overall it was delicious. The original donut was from a friend so I cannot say from my experience how it tasted but was told it was great! Definitely a must try! read more

The best yeast donut I've found in CLT... but not the best ever , Long's Donuts in Indy holds that title From the moment you enter your welcomed with open arms. OMG - You aren't kidding! This little hidden gem across from East Meck High School makes the most amazing doughnuts. The lemon glaze doughnut has a tart and tangy flavor - delicious!! The staff was helpful and seemed to enjoy interacting with the customers. Everyone was smiling and happy. I was pleasantly surprised by the items we ordered! We grabbed our food and drinks from the pick-up window and enjoyed the outdoor seating. Also, the iced matcha latte was the perfect shade of green. We didn't take pictures of the burritos, but they were a little smaller than I expected for the price, which cost between $8.25-$8.45. I can't really speak to the service because we ordered through the tablet and had minimal interactions with the baristas. However, I'm looking forward to coming back here to check out the indoor area, which we didn't really explore this time around. The name immediately made me think of Friends, so I was expecting a bit more of that quirky, cozy vibe. Still really cute inside. The space itself is pretty small and felt a bit packed when I went in. I wasn't totally sure where to order at first and had to walk further in to find the register, which was slightly confusing. The staff interaction was fine, not bad, just neutral. I tried making a little conversation while deciding what to order, and while nothing stood out, the barista was helpful when I asked for recommendations. They do have some cool drink options, and when I asked what people usually order that isn't too sweet and similar to one I was thinking of, I was pointed toward the special espresso cortadito with almond milk. It came in a small cup, but was perfect for being on the go. The flavor was good, smooth, and gave me a nice little pick-me-up. Overall, it was a solid coffee stop but didn't quite blow me away. If you're nearby and need a quick caffeine fix, it does the job.
