I dunno...) came in for a little something between work and the coffee thing later in the day because nothing says relaxifying like bird chunks and fries. dining room looks clean so the pungency must be the guy ahead of me in line... order on the right, pickup on the left, wait outside sitting next to traffic because it's better that way. my #4 (slider plus fries) is ready pretty quick so I grab it and hasten back to the great outdoors to examine my bounty in the warm fresh air. longish slab o' crunchy chicken sticking out both sides of the bun and topped with slaw, pickle, and saucy sauce with more pickles and sauce on the side alongside a respectable pile of hot, crisp, and too salty crinkle cut fries that ate pretty well regardless ;-) slider is almost a chicken shooter; dip the ends in the sauce, bite of chicken, bite of pickle, repeat as necessary until you're holding a chicken sandwich... overall a fair meal at a reasonable cost. all freshly prepared and served piping hot and crunchy; dine in, dine out, carry out, however you wanna do this it'll get you fed and it might even set Peter's eat-o-meter to whirling. read more

Fast food fried chicken sliders with delicious spices! we had the number two, which comes with two sliders, which was enough for two people. When they say sliders, I was thinking they would be small, but no, sliders are full-size chicken sandwiches! The sliders come with coleslaw and pickles on them and a side of fries. Was staying at the Marriott nearly and none of the other restaurants in the area were open late. Walked in and ordered at the front. The customer service a was great! The guy that took our order was super chill and even gave recs for the spice level my group and I should get. All the food took about 10 mins to be prepared. We were able to grab a seat in the dining area while we waited. We got a variety of sliders, tenders, and fries. All the ingredients were fresh ingredients and the fries were crunchy and seasoned well. I appreciate that they don't skimp on the sauce if you need more. Glad Dave's are nationwide, bc this experience made me want to try them again. read more

We have one of these by my home but was picking up my son from college to go home for summer and needed a pre riadtrip,home meal. My standard order is two sliders hot with fries. I could probably go spicier but I want to enjoy the whole meal not just burn things. Chicken is crunchy and well seasoned, larger than the bun, fries are super crispy outside but soft on inside and spiced. The slaw on the slider is great. Not too wet, nice and crunchy and adds just a touch of complimentary flavor to the whole thing. Not, and fresh. Staff is solid and working their butts off. Be patient it's worth it. Dave's Hot Chicken brought the fire with their crunchy chicken sandwich and crispy cut fries. I enjoyed this sandwich (arguably just as much as popular chains like Chick Fil A) but what took the cake was their Dave's sauce for me! The original sandwich comes with onions, pickles and chicken with the option to choose your spice level for the sandwich. The service at Dave's was great with kind staff and a simple number system to grab your food when it's ready. The seating is very casual with a decent amount of space inside, however it was quite back due to a football game at the University so be mindful of the time you go! read more

TLDR, Unique ambiance indoors, good food, kind service! Horrible parking situation!! I don't know if there were just lots of nitwits out when we went, but 3 cars were pulled up to the businesses with their hazard's on, like it was the airport?? Excuse me? It forced me to drive the wrong way, luckily no cars were coming head on. Upon coming in, the lighting was funky and the walls all had graffiti! It was pretty cool, but VERY busy visually. Lots to look at. The cashier was soooo kind! I wish I got her name. She took our order and we seated ourselves. Tables were all clean and they had a good variety of 2 seaters, 4 seaters, etc. They had music playing inside while you eat, and workers going around occasionally cleaning up! They have a "pick up" window that opens the window to the outside, it's very unique and I would've liked to see how it worked but I wasn't paying much attention. They have catering boxes which could be fun if you have a large party to host! My cheese fries were really good! They weren't crispy or crunchy, but that isn't a requirement for me. The dill pickles, delish! Pair perfectly with hot chicken. I got the "hot" level of heat and it was perfect for me. I typically enjoy lots of spice and it was just enough to sting my lips and keep them burning. Their sauce was interesting, I can't even pinpoint the flavor. It wasn't my favorite though. The tender seemed a bit small for the bun, and there wasn't very much slaw on the sandwich, which I'm kinda bummed out about. I love coleslaw and think it would have been good with a bit more! It's an absolute flavor bomb! The chicken was spicy and sweet, great slaw and great bun... only the chicken tender itself could have been better. It wasn't as "tender" of a tender as many other places, and it didn't seem as fresh as it could have been. But it was still darn good and worth future visits for sure. I came up here with a friend one night. I had never ate at Dave's Hot Chicken before. Busy but good food. We sat outside and I enjoyed my meal. The chicken can be really hot so stay with lite mild or mild unless you like it really spicy. They serve it with pickles and honey packets which made it for me! Me and my husband LOVE Dave's!! My husband only eats halal, so how convenient is it that we can get fried chicken sandwiches right in the neighborhood!?! We always get the # 2 (2 sliders and fries) and share it because the sandwiches are so huge. I get the plain sandwich (no sauce, no sauce *beyonce voice*) with cheese and my husband gets the hot chicken sandwich. Worst customer service! I have been vegetarian for over 10 years. I went and ordered the cauliflower tenders as I usually do, but this time when I ordered they mistakenly gave me chicken. I didn't realize until I already got home and took my first bite. The cauliflower and the chicken look very similar. I was very upset and called the restaurant to make it right. I decided to drive back to the store and on the way I called and asked to speak with a manager. I told the manager about what happened and was very disappointed with her response. All I wanted was a refund and for them to remake me my order. Now I'm wasting my gas heading back to the store. I really like spicy food but I am beginning to tame it down as I get older so I ordered medium. I thought this was very mild but they may have given me the wrong flavor as my coworker ordered medium the next time and said her mouth was on fire. The next time I went i ordered 1 slider and 1 tender. This was a better fit for a large appetite. I ordered it hot this time. The flavor was very good. I like food spicy enough to give a kick but mild enough to taste the food it is supposed to compliment. This was perfect for me. This was an exceptional restaurant. We went in to share a sandwich in fries since we have not eaten here before. The price was reasonable for a slider combo. It came out in good time, you do need to ask for more sauces if needed. The workers were excellent, they were very helpful and responsive when we needed something. We got a medium sandwich and it came out fresh and HOT. It does look like they put a chicken tender inside two buns but im not complaining. The slaw and pickles were great in the sandwich giving contrasting flavors that amplified the taste. The spice level was nice, not too hot. My big dislike was that it felt like the spice came from the powder they put on and when you get a mouth full of it, the sandwich felt gritty. With the pickles and slaw you don't really notice it. The hot chicken sandwich is a great blend of spice and heat. It tingles your taste buds with some residue heat that hits you right away. If you don't like that much spice medium would be perfect. I was glad the had a no heat option on the menu for someone like me who is not a fan of spicy food. It is like an fast food place and can get crowded in the evenings and weekends.
