Small creamery in Charlotte that is worth a visit. They had about 30 flavors to pick from offer cones or bowls for ice cream. They also offer milkshakes and you can order cakes too! It is small with a few seats but they do have a bench outside where you can sit to enjoy! We were able to park on the street right in front of the store.

Delicious ice cream, great prices, and a welcoming local vibe. Service was great. Perfect spot to support a local business! :)

A little difficult to find, but the maple pecan ice cream was good. I was disappointed that the waffle cones weren't fresh, but overall it was good ice cream.

I really enjoyed this ice cream shop on a hot and humid charlotte's summer day. The ice cream and waffle cones are homemade and the price tag is just right.. $3 for a single scoop in a cup or cone. Fresh made waffle cones are $1 extra. I appreciated the flavors here.. mint Oreo was my favorite! Some other notable ones are the cake batter (with sprinkles), Reese's, and butterfinger. The owners seem to work in the front and back of the store.. they are very committed to their product. I definitely recommend getting a scoop of in the area.. and supporting a local business!

I feel like this was Charlotte's original ice cream shop, so I had been meaning to give it a try. I'm a sucker for the unique flavors at Two Scoops and Golden Cow though so it took me a while to make it here. We had lunch in the area and decided to stop by after. It's a small shop with a bar that has a few seats. You can park on the street right outside. They have a good selection of flavors. While not quite as creative as some of the newer shops in town, they still have a good variety that you don't find at your average ice cream shop. They only let you sample three flavors which is a little annoying when there are so many to choose from. I decided to go with the cake batter and the pralines and cream. Both were very good. Everyone else I was with also enjoyed the flavors they got. I got a regular with the two scoops which were a little small. I definitely wanted more when I was done! This is a good little ice cream shop that I definitely recommend checking out if you're in the area.

Great ice cream, very clean store, and awesome service. Had the black raspberry and the ginger on a twin cone. Both flavors were yum.

    Chocolate waffle cone FTW

Cute little ice cream shop off of the walkable Elizabeth Ave. The inside is tiny, but does include some high top seating, benches outside are your best bet. The best part is the homemade waffle cones-- including chocolate dipped ones. Yummy flavors like Reese's, brownie fudge, mint Oreo, heavenly hash (with 'mallows and peanuts) and cake batter. It's a little pricey, but delicious and with it to support local!

How much is a scoop or two of ice cream?

Its about 3.50-4.00 for a single waffle cone. But their single scoop is a LOT.

The shop is very small, they have a good selection of flavors, and it is all dairy, egg, and gluten free. You honestly would never know! It tasted exactly how ice cream should. Great mouth feel, rich, but not sweet. We tried the chocolate with cookies and Oreo pieces and the mint chip. Very very tasty. Again, if they did not tell you this was dairy free, you could not tell at all. They offer tastes, you can get one or two scoops or waffle cones, or ice cream sandwiches, and I think you can ask for sprinkles. They have a friendly staff behind the counter. They are also cashless, so be sure to have a credit card here. I would definitely come back for another flavor, I was really wowed by this ice cream. If you are in Camp North End, stop in for a scoop.

Jeni's continues to offer really fun flavors made well and even in non-dairy options (hooray for vegan flavors!) It's always a conundrum when there's more than 1 vegan-friendly flavor for me but they weren't busy so I got to try all of them. Sadly I was only able to narrow it down to two flavors - banana dream pudding (I'm usually not into banana but this is GOOD!) and peppermint patty. It was a weird combo but it worked! Thankfully they had regular sugar cones so that was vegan-friendly as well. The bf had a waffle cone and filled it with cookies in cream. A splendid time was had. Five Stars. Always.

No matter how many new places pop up, nothing ever compares to the quality and creativity they bring to every single scoop. You can always taste the difference. The flavors are always so thoughtfully done, from the classics to the more unique combinations they come out with season by season. It's the kind of place where you end up trying something new every time and somehow it becomes your new favorite. The South End location is such a great spot too. They have seating both inside and outside which makes it perfect whether you want to sit and enjoy a sunny day or just take a quick break while you're out walking around. It always feels like a little reset in the middle of the day. And the team there truly makes the experience. So which version are customers supposed to believe? Regardless of who is saying what, the outcome is the same. They lost several customers yesterday, and we will not be returning after this experience. After talking to a lawyer, they believe this is predatory enforcement, and we will file a complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and with the Better Business Bureau. Two Scoops Creamery on Central Avenue went from being one of our favorite spots to somewhere we will never return in less than a minute. We met up with a group of friends there today. Before grabbing ice cream, we briefly stopped into Sin City next door. As one of our friends was walking in, he noticed cars in the shared parking lot were actively being booted. We had been there maybe 15 minutes. Apparently, if you step into the neighboring business at all -- even if you're planning to purchase from Two Scoops immediately after -- they will boot your car and demand $275 to remove it. We spoke directly with the staff at Two Scoops and explained that we were simply meeting up and didn't realize stepping next door wasn't allowed. The response was essentially, "Too bad." There was no grace, no warning, no attempt at understanding -- just an immediate $275 penalty. It feels like an incredibly predatory and unethical practice, especially for loyal customers who intended to support the business. We didn't even stay for ice cream, and we won't be back.
