The place was packed, the drive thru line was wrapped around the building and the customers were growing impatient waiting for their orders. We got in line and waited to place our order wondering if we made a mistake. It wasn't a very long wait until we were ablet to place our orders and even though Andy's was as busy as it was, the gentleman that took our order was really nice and patient. Long story but in the end that same gentleman singlehandedly finished taking orders, jumped into the back and caught all of the walk up orders up by hustling back and forth. There were three people working the drive thru and he, alone, was taking orders and filling them. I wish I had his name to give him the proper props. There was a long wait but given the hustle of this one employee I was okay with the wait. I ordered the triple chocolate concrete. They were out of cookie dough so I substituted for brownie. Overall it was a good choice for chocolate lovers. The ice cream is very smooth and their is not shortage of cookie dough or chocolate chips. Overall, a great place for a twist on ice cream. Great location and I will say this could have been a horrible experience had it not been for that one employee.

After we placed and paid for our order, we were informed that they were out of the caramel flavor, which two of us had ordered. When we asked how long it would take to restock, one employee told us 30 minutes while another said it could take hours. Since we couldn't get a clear answer, we decided to change our order, which required a refund. The employee who processed the refund, whom I believe was named Ashley, was giggling throughout the interaction and seemed unsure whether the refund had actually gone through. When we asked for confirmation, she could not provide a clear answer. I eventually had to go back inside and speak with the shift lead, who was the only helpful employee we encountered. He was able to pull up our order and show us the receipt, but the totals on the receipts did not match, which only added to the confusion. We never received a clear explanation about whether the refund was completed or whether my birthday reward had been properly applied. Overall, the experience was disappointing and frustrating, especially for what was supposed to be a birthday celebration. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location.

She went and swapped it out. I gave it to my daughter, who said, "Yeah, that's a medium." I was livid. Why was it so hard to order ice cream? I didn't have a receipt, so I couldn't check to see what was rung up. I parked and went to the counter to find out what was going on. It turned out I paid for a kid cup. I wasn't about to give that shop any more money and I was seriously frustrated that I gave a tip. I did ask if a hearing screening was required to work there because "medium" and "kids" sound very different, so do "cup" and "cone," not to mention "peach" and "strawberry." In terms of service, the workers were friendly but my drink took a little longer than I expected to come out... like it was ready after a bunch of other people got their orders (who were behind me in line), so that was interesting. I got the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte! This was on their seasonal menu so I definitely wanted to try it. It either came in matcha or espresso form, but the worker recommended matcha to me. Upon the first sip, I definitely tasted the matcha. It was a bit earthy tasting, but not the earthiest I have had. After I mixed the drink together (little pushing the vanilla wafers down to breakdown into little pieces), the banana pudding taste really came through. I am not a fan of matcha, but I enjoyed the drink... probably because the banana pudding flavor overpowered the matcha flavor after mixing everything thoroughly. If you like matcha, then this is your go-to spot in Charlotte! There is probably something most people would like here as they also have non-matcha options as well.
