Well. Went for a nice relaxing Saturday lunch. Table in the back section (which was maybe their mistake, read on). Girl that sat us was very nice indeed. The lady who I had presumed was our server brought water and an unsweet tea as asked. That's where the story ends. She never returned, went to other side of the restaurant fussing around. At least two other servers glanced over at us. Nothing. No one came in like 10-15 minutes. This was too relaxing. Place was not at all busy almost as many staff as customers. So. We left. Shame. Yelp has recommended this place a few times, so we were excited to finally go. The location was great with plenty of parking on the sides and in the back. They had a nice mix of indoor and various outdoor seating. In the front, you see seating in the sun. Yet, they have covered outdoor seating on the side. Inside, they have everything from bar to bench seating. Our waiter was great as he provided quick service and answered all of our questions. We ordered spinach artichoke dip and chicken tenders for the kids. We were pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes. The appetizer was good, but nothing amazing. The chicken tenders were big and flavorful. Yet, the fries definitely stole the show. I'm not a fan of shoestring fries, but they were seasoned so well that I didn't mind. While our appetizer and kids' meals came out quickly, our entrees were a little slow to arrive. I ordered the salmon and fries, since I could steal any more from the kiddos. We made reservations since it was a holiday Street parking was full, but there is a convenient parking lot behind the building. The hostess greeted us immediately upon walking in and showed us to our table. Their kids menu is nice and simple (burger, tenders, grilled cheese and even salmon). My kiddos chose the classic chicken tenders and fries. Their meals came out pretty quickly. Each plate came with three large tenders and a very generous amount of fries (which were well seasoned and tasted great). My husband and I started with the Spinach & Artichoke Dip. It was nice and warm and was also a great portion size. It would probably be sufficient for four people to share. The entrees took a while to come out, but in their defense, they got really busy. For my entree, I tried the Shrimp New Orleans. The presentation was great and again, it was a nice side. Although the meal tasted fine, I'm not sure about "the best on the menu". The service was great. All staff members were professional and attentive. The dining room and restrooms were clean. I love the patio and breezeway seating for nice days. Came her for lunch with some coworkers and I'm glad they recommended this place. Luckily it was midday, midweek and so we were able to snag parking very easily and a seat. For my app I ordered the smoked trout dip which comes with saltine crackers. VERY VERY GOOD! I feel like you can never go wrong with smoked anything. Was my first time having smoked trout and I like how the smokiness was the main attraction with every bite. The trout is thick and very noticeable, meaning the size of the pieces, not fishy in taste. Happy I was able to get some of colleagues to try it even though they were hesitant. They also ordered the spinach & artichoke dip. I felt the consistency of it was very liquidly compared to the thickness of the smoked trout dip. The flavor was ok. I personally wouldn't order that. For my entree I ordered the Music City fried chicken sandwich. Which is a Nashville hot chicken sandwich or so I thought. Usually Nashville style chicken sandwiches are drenched in very noticeable red sauce. Here not so much. It's a very light and settle experience. I did like the batter used on the fried chicken. It was light, airy and crispy. The size of the sandwich is typical which means I can usually only eat 1 half which is what happened. It came with slaw, tomatoes and pickles which complimented it very nicely. The shoestring french fries were amazing! You know the fries are good when you don't even need ketchup or any dipping sauce. Very well made. Prices were modest. My entree was around $17. I'd come back here for sure next time I'm in this area. read more

I went to Table 31 on a Wednesday night with a few coworkers. The restaurant was busy and the ambiance was nice. Our waitress was great. I order the raspberry Lemonade and it was one of the best drinks I have had. Strongly recommend. The filet...meh. It looked beautiful but the flavor was lacking. For $45 I could have gone to Longhorn for more flavor. The potatoes looked good but tasted like plastic. Hope this review helps someone. read more

Wow, the service is terrible, everytime I go in, it is something else. Came in at 1pm, sat at the bar for 5 minutes before I was acknowledged, while two servers were chatting to each other, that took no action. We came here to check out the Lake Norman area for food and came across this place! We sat outside and there was live music playing which was cute but pretty loud so it was pretty hard for my boyfriend and I to hear each other which make it unpleasant the whole time we were there. For drinks, I got the raspberry lemonade which was good but it needed a bit more lemon in there. For appetizer. we got the crab fries which was super good! I loved the shoestring fries and there was. a good bit of the food. For entree, I got the Shrimp New Orleans (oops no pic!) which was amazing! The shrimp was cooked super was and the sauce was super tasty. I like how they served the bread with it. I would've gotten the fried chicken first but they don't serve it on Fridays or Saturdays which is interesting and pretty confusing why it's that way. read more

Table 31 is a fantastic restaurant every time you go. The food is amazing. The chicken parm is a classic dish bursting with flavor. They have fried chicken Nashville hot which is avaible Sunday-Thursday. It's quite hot but a pleasurable experience. The ribs are very tasty. The French dip is consistently the best there is. The salmon salad has a delicious goat cheese and it was perfectly cooked. The servers are very friendly and polite. The restaurant is in between a fancy and a casual place, nice enough to wear a collared shirt, but you'd stand out in a suit. Amazing place 5 stars. read more

For my entree I ordered the shrimp tacos with a side of golden beets. I loved the beets, they were very tasty and topped with pecans and goat cheese. The shrimp tacos were good. Our server talked us into taking bread pudding home. Something with white chocolate.. all I know is it was delicious and the serving was generous. The only negative I'll mention is I was shocked to see the condition of the dinner napkins we were provided. They were covered with layers of pilling that appears to have been there for years. I've never seen such worn napkins in probably any restaurant, let alone a nice one. I was embarrassed for them. I wouldn't even give napkins in this condition to my enemy. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is because the menu is somewhat limited to what I'm accustomed to seeing at other restaurants. They accept reservations. The customer service was GREAT from the time we walked in until we left. Our server was Jackie and she was very accommodating and gave very good recommendations. The food and drink were both very tasty! We all enjoyed our food. Parking is plentiful. It's spacious at the bar and inside. There's lots of outside seating too. They own the wine shop next door and if you order food from there you can also seat at the outside seating. Now that I know this is here, I'd like to return to sample a couple more items from the menu. read more

Lovely place for dinner in this area. The ambiance is just right and the lighting is low so you can enjoy a quaint dinner out. For our first course, we had shrimp cocktail. The presentation was gorgeous alone. This came with a delicious, flavorful tarter sauce and a red sauce equally as nice. We also had spinach and artichoke dip which was flavorful and full of tomatoes. Two of us ordered the special. This was Angel hair pasta with large shrimp, spinach, mushrooms and a lovely lemon sauce. This was seriously delish! The other person ordered the insanely good fried chicken dinner. This was over the top good. If that wasn't enough to eat we ordered a slice of pumpkin cheesecake. WOW! This had caramel and nuts and just goodness with every bite. The decor is modern sleek with more than enough room to host large parties. The bartender greeted us right away & got us going with some mimosas. The champagne to juice ratio was perfect, but there was a bit too much pulp for my liking. For starters we got the deviled eggs & lobster bisque. The lobster was DELICIOUS!!! The mashed potatoes in the middle was different, but worked oh so well in there. Then onto the entrees: I had the chicken sandwich and really wished the chicken would've been seasoned more & cooked a little less. The shoestring fries were great though. This place was amazing. We ordered a large assortment of appetizers for the table, including the Rainbow Trout Cavier, and they were all great. The drinks were a great price and heavy pours. You can't go wrong with their Smoked Old Fashions. Service was amazing, and Zoey was the perfect waitress. She did a great job handling our table and getting everything we wanted out quickly. The filet mignon, baby back ribs, and steak tartare were all perfect, and the splitting of plates was a nice touch. Finished it off with some Pumpkin Cheesecake which made it a spectacular night. Table 31 was delightful from the service to the food. The decor is casual elegance and makes a great place to catch up with friends, have a nice event or a first date. My friend and I enjoyed everything we had from appetizers all the way through to dessert. We started out with the deviled eggs and chicken fried oysters, then for main dishes I had the rainbow trout with charred brusselsproutssprinkledwith cheese, she had the BBQ shrimp with rice and bread. She said is was not as BBQ flavour as she thought but the sauce was good. For dessert I had the tres Leche cake which was light and beautiful and she had the oreo cookie ice cream cake. read more

One of those places on your "to check out list" but you take forever to check it out, and end up regretting it because it exceeded expectations! By far the best dining spot langtree has to offer (so far at least). Food, drinks, service and ambiance was all around lovely. Stopped in with a group of friends for drinks and apps but we were having such a good time we stayed for dinner! So glad we did. We started with the dip duo & fried oysters. Oysters were tasty but unfortunately I've had better. The dip duo came with guac and "queso". The queso wasn't your typical hot cheese dip, more like a ball of pimento cheese- it had tons of flavor though and was my favorite of the apps! We all got different entrees: bbq shrimp was raved about, fried chicken (Nashville style) was TO DIE FOR, the trout & bell peppers with goat cheese was delicious, the mahi fish tacos were good but the sauce drizzled on top was weird and not flattering to the dish (try it on the side). Can't speak for all the cocktails since we mostly drank wine. However, I did enjoy a employees only" martini-made with tres agaves tequila, agave and lemon juice. It was on the sweeter side so heads up for that. Overall- a great experience and atmosphere. On the pricier side of things so won't be coming back too often but a gem to enjoy every once in awhile! They also have a wine shop next door that I wish we had checked out. read more
