Eddie Z here again.Kale Caesar salad with chilled sliced chicken.
Ed Z.

Eddie Z here again.had the soup & salad combo of kale salad with sliced grilled chicken that was terrific and a bowl of New England clam chowder that was good but tasted nothing like NE clam chowda.more like a lobster bisque base with clams instead of lobster. My wife had the French dip with French fries which she liked even with bits of fat.she also enjoyed a grapefruit refresher.

Parmesan Crusted Chicken

My new favorite place in Mooresville! The Parmesan crusted chicken was amazing, atmosphere is inviting with friendly service! Wish I had room for the warm carrot cake. I will definitely be back anytime I'm in town!

Spinach and artichoke dip

Yelp has recommended this place a few times, so we were excited to finally go. The location was great with plenty of parking on the sides and in the back. They had a nice mix of indoor and various outdoor seating. In the front, you see seating in the sun. Yet, they have covered outdoor seating on the side. Inside, they have everything from bar to bench seating. Our waiter was great as he provided quick service and answered all of our questions. We ordered spinach artichoke dip and chicken tenders for the kids. We were pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes. The appetizer was good, but nothing amazing. The chicken tenders were big and flavorful. Yet, the fries definitely stole the show. I'm not a fan of shoestring fries, but they were seasoned so well that I didn't mind. While our appetizer and kids' meals came out quickly, our entrees were a little slow to arrive. I ordered the salmon and fries, since I could steal any more from the kiddos. The salmon was a decent portion and seasoned nicely. However, it was slightly over cooked. Overall, the experience was good.

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

We made reservations since it was a holiday Street parking was full, but there is a convenient parking lot behind the building. The hostess greeted us immediately upon walking in and showed us to our table. Their kids menu is nice and simple (burger, tenders, grilled cheese and even salmon). My kiddos chose the classic chicken tenders and fries. Their meals came out pretty quickly. Each plate came with three large tenders and a very generous amount of fries (which were well seasoned and tasted great). My husband and I started with the Spinach & Artichoke Dip. It was nice and warm and was also a great portion size. It would probably be sufficient for four people to share. The entrees took a while to come out, but in their defense, they got really busy. For my entree, I tried the Shrimp New Orleans. The presentation was great and again, it was a nice side. Although the meal tasted fine, I'm not sure about "the best on the menu". The service was great. All staff members were professional and attentive. The dining room and restrooms were clean. I love the patio and breezeway seating for nice days. Overall, I enjoyed our visit.

Smoked Trout Dip - very good!!!
Kyshia M.

Came her for lunch with some coworkers and I'm glad they recommended this place. Luckily it was midday, midweek and so we were able to snag parking very easily and a seat. For my app I ordered the smoked trout dip which comes with saltine crackers. VERY VERY GOOD! I feel like you can never go wrong with smoked anything. Was my first time having smoked trout and I like how the smokiness was the main attraction with every bite. The trout is thick and very noticeable, meaning the size of the pieces, not fishy in taste. Happy I was able to get some of colleagues to try it even though they were hesitant. They also ordered the spinach & artichoke dip. I felt the consistency of it was very liquidly compared to the thickness of the smoked trout dip. The flavor was ok. I personally wouldn't order that. For my entree I ordered the Music City fried chicken sandwich. Which is a Nashville hot chicken sandwich or so I thought. Usually Nashville style chicken sandwiches are drenched in very noticeable red sauce. Here not so much. It's a very light and settle experience. I did like the batter used on the fried chicken. It was light, airy and crispy. The size of the sandwich is typical which means I can usually only eat 1 half which is what happened. It came with slaw, tomatoes and pickles which complimented it very nicely. The shoestring french fries were amazing! You know the fries are good when you don't even need ketchup or any dipping sauce. Very well made. Prices were modest. My entree was around $17. I'd come back here for sure next time I'm in this area.

Filet Mignon

I went to Table 31 on a Wednesday night with a few coworkers. The restaurant was busy and the ambiance was nice. Our waitress was great. I order the raspberry Lemonade and it was one of the best drinks I have had. Strongly recommend. The filet...meh. It looked beautiful but the flavor was lacking. For $45 I could have gone to Longhorn for more flavor. The potatoes looked good but tasted like plastic. Hope this review helps someone.

Crab Fries

We came here to check out the Lake Norman area for food and came across this place! We sat outside and there was live music playing which was cute but pretty loud so it was pretty hard for my boyfriend and I to hear each other which make it unpleasant the whole time we were there. For drinks, I got the raspberry lemonade which was good but it needed a bit more lemon in there. For appetizer. we got the crab fries which was super good! I loved the shoestring fries and there was. a good bit of the food. For entree, I got the Shrimp New Orleans (oops no pic!) which was amazing! The shrimp was cooked super was and the sauce was super tasty. I like how they served the bread with it. I would've gotten the fried chicken first but they don't serve it on Fridays or Saturdays which is interesting and pretty confusing why it's that way.

Horrible napkin
Neema B.

First off, the crab fries? AMAZING. They did not skimp on the crab meat and I appreciate that. If return for that appetizer alone. For my entree I ordered the shrimp tacos with a side of golden beets. I loved the beets, they were very tasty and topped with pecans and goat cheese. The shrimp tacos were good. Our server talked us into taking bread pudding home. Something with white chocolate.. all I know is it was delicious and the serving was generous. The only negative I'll mention is I was shocked to see the condition of the dinner napkins we were provided. They were covered with layers of pilling that appears to have been there for years. I've never seen such worn napkins in probably any restaurant, let alone a nice one. I was embarrassed for them. I wouldn't even give napkins in this condition to my enemy. They need to be replaced immediately. How horrible...

Deviled Eggs

The decor and ambiance were amazing. Not much seasoning on the steak and the mash potatoes came out cold twice. The customer service was excellent. The drinks are filled to the top of the glass so worth it.

Fritzie's Fried Chicken Nashville hot

Table 31 is a fantastic restaurant every time you go. The food is amazing. The chicken parm is a classic dish bursting with flavor. They have fried chicken Nashville hot which is avaible Sunday-Thursday. It's quite hot but a pleasurable experience. The ribs are very tasty. The French dip is consistently the best there is. The salmon salad has a delicious goat cheese and it was perfectly cooked. The servers are very friendly and polite. The restaurant is in between a fancy and a casual place, nice enough to wear a collared shirt, but you'd stand out in a suit. Amazing place 5 stars.

Quinn H.

When we did finally get our food , it was ok but nothing really stood out. Hmm let's see ....the service wasn't great I'll say it wasn't great but adequate. The ambiance was awful . So loud I had to lean into the family to have a conversation . I could see this at some spots with a younger chord but these patrons were at least early 50's maybe sixties . Maybe I was there in a wrong night or whatever but I don't see myself going back

Great local place walking distance to the Aloft. Good food, reasonable prices and a nice neighborhood feel to it

Does this restaurant allow your pets in the outside seating area? I saw two pics from reviews that showed dogs. I like dogs but not when I'm eating. Can anyone offer insight?

I'm sorry I can't answer that and I didn't see any pets there at least while I was there . I wouldn't be any help as I'm not going back there again

Our entrees came it was a big disappointment. My eggs Benedict with fresh greens was nothing more than a very bland English muffin, not toasted, not warmed up and hard to cut through. Borderline stale tasting. The ham slice was like a piece of deli ham folded over. They attempted to heat it up, or it was left under the heat lamps too long before serving because the sides of the ham were hard. The eggs were nice - hard to mess those up and the sauce - which was very skimpy - lacked any kind of taste. My fresh greens salad was wilted which gives me reason to believe I my dish was left too long under the heat lamps. This was so disappointing. We didn't mention this to our waiter, we just paid our bill and left. My husband had the hash, recommended by our waiter and it too lacked taste. His dish was better than mine but not the quality we were hoping for when we had such a great lunch there once before. Not sure if they changed chefs or kitchen staff or management, but definitely not the Sunday brunch we set out to have.

Paloma is a beautiful location, and we really wanted to love our dinner here, but unfortunately,…read morethe food didn't quite live up to expectations. I ordered the pork belly bao buns, but they missed the mark for me. Coming from NY, I'm used to bao buns being marshmallow-soft and pillowy, but these were a hard, and the pork belly itself was quite tough. Our wonderful waitress noticed I only took one bite and brought the manager over. He explained that the cut is naturally mostly fat, which I understand, but the texture just wasn't quite right because it should be tender not tough. I declined a replacement dish, and he kindly credited it on our bill, though the interaction felt a little awkward. My husband's salmon unfortunately had a very heavy mustard flavor. The spinach farrotto underneath was quite salty. Since there isn't a kids menu which is fine, my daughter ordered the burger plain, but it wasn't really a hit for her. My coconut guava Paloma was okay definitely the best part of my meal though it tasted a little artificial. The ambiance has a lot of potential, and they had live music playing. However, it was a bit too loud for the space, forcing guests to raise their voices just to speak to each other. We also noticed our table hadn't been wiped down thoroughly before we sat down. The absolute silver lining of our evening was our waitress. She was incredibly sweet, highly attentive, and took great care of us. She is truly the reason I am giving 3 stars. She mentioned that they offer a completely different menu for brunch. Because the setting is so pretty and the service was so good, we might give them another chance for brunch down the road, but we likely wouldn't return for dinner. Proof that lighting and plating can hide a lot! Captured these beautiful views last night, even though the dinner itself was a bit of a letdown.

Set right in downtown Davidson across from Davidson College, the atmosphere strikes that perfect balance--lively but still intimate. The menu evolves frequently, so what we saw differed from what's posted online--but that turned out to be part of the charm. Everything sounded appealing, and choosing wasn't difficult. Our server stood out immediately--deeply knowledgeable and able to walk through each dish with impressive detail, right down to preparation. It's easy to see why Kindred earned "Recommended" status in the inaugural Michelin Guide American South and continues to be recognized for top-tier hospitality and cuisine. We started with the Little Gem lettuce salad--fresh, bright, and elevated by the perfect crunch and subtle richness of pistachios. For my entrée, I had the rigatoni with guanciale, English peas, and pecorino sardo--rich, balanced, and full of flavor without being heavy. A memorable meal all around.

Duck Fat Potatoes (4/5): Lightly crispy exterior with a soft, fluffy interior. The crab fat mayo was mostly savory with a bit of tanginess and paired nicely with the potatoes. Squid Ink Conchiglie (4/5): The pasta texture was PERFECT. Very chewy. The shrimp was decent (bonus points for not having to peel them). There was too much sauce though, and it was too acidic. Pickle-Brined Fried Quail (4/5): More crispy than crunchy. The meat was tender, but maybe too tender? I would've preferred chicken. The chili oil was VERY peanut forward. I liked the wasabi tobiko. It added the flavor without the spice. The green garlic slaw helped cut through the oil so that was a good addition. Wagyu Beef Tartare (4/5): The beef was good and had a nice texture, but the overall dish was also too acidic. I liked the added texture of the thin, crispy sunchokes. Bread Service (3/5): A slightly better version of Hawaiian rolls with some nice flaky salt on top. Milk Bread Pudding (4/5): Had a nice saltiness to it. Lots of butterscotch flavor. The crusty parts were my favorite but the inside was very soft. The ice cream was too melty on top. Maybe it would've been better on the side?
