I ordered two Greek gyros and they were good on the filling but I needed more of the delicious tzatziki sauce. My third Gyro was a combo which came with fries all dusted with an amazing herb seasoning, and the fries had just the right amount of crunch to them. I paid $40 for the 3 of us and then had to order a side of rice because my daughter was still hungry and charged an additional $6 they are super over priced. Great little Greek spot in the Afton Village area. I did a pickup order online and it was ready when I got there. I got the chicken souvlaki on a stick and it was very good. It comes with tasty rice, warm fluffy pitas and a side of tzatziki. I wish they gave more tzatziki because I ran out half way through. It's $1 extra if you want more. The chicken was very flavorful and tender. I also added a 1/2 Horiatiki Salad. It had olives, tomatoes, peppers, onions and cucumbers. I loved the dressing it came with and the feta as well. My sister got the 1/2 mamma Mia bowl with falafel as her protein. She liked it a lot and said the falafel was very good. Overall, the food was fresh and tasty. The food is good. The service is OK. I ordered takeout and had my young children with me. Plans changed and I tried to eat my food on the patio and was told that the patio is for dine in only. They would not change my order to dine in and so I was basically forced to pack up everything for my kids(they were eating something different) and leave. I have been here twice before, so this makes number three. I have always ordered take out, so I have no idea how their table service is, but take out is about a 15 minute wait. I am a big fan of Spinach pie, and they make a darn fine one. The truth is Greek food is one of my favorite foods. They have a full Greek menu. Every time I have gone here, I have enjoyed what I have ordered. Their hummus and tzatziki sauce [in my opinion] is perfection! This is my issue with this place. Their portions are not as generous as I have come to expect with Greek eateries. For example you pay two bucks for a side of hummus, and it's literally a thimble full. There are no pita chips or anything with it. It is a 2 oz. clear condiment cup. I was irritated when I saw the size of it, and could not believe they had the audacity to charge $2.00 for that. Seriously. The people are personable, and their food really is delightful, but I am really bothered by their parsimonious attitude towards their patrons. Family-owned and -operated, and that gives this place a personal touch. We've been customers, both dining in and for takeout, for more than 20 years. The food is genuinely Greek-style and is excellent! We usually order a variety: I love the perfectly balanced, well-stuffed gyro pita with a Greek salad (no lettuce, but they also have a "Garden Greek Salad," which combines lettuce with traditional ingredients). My wife usually gets a chicken souvlaki pita. (The tzadziki sauce served in the pita is the best in town!) Our adult son gets the plaka plate, which is chicken on skewers with rice (he's a very picky eater, but he always enjoys it). The cook is of Greek origin, which lends confidence tin the food's authenticity. Of course there are many other delicious traditional dishes on the menu; we have just liked our usuals so much we've stuck with them! As far as ambience is concerned, the place has some art on the walls but otherwise is pretty nondescript. That doesn't bother us, though; I'd rather pay for a good dinner than for fancy decor! read more

Its a nice place, located in Concord. Nicely located with outside seating and also space inside but following the covid restrictions the seating is limited. The ambience is good, service is ok but the food is some best greek food. They also have kind of fusion with the Mexican cuisine. I tried quesadilla with falafel and it was nicely done. Never tried a quesadilla with falafel and i must say they have done justice with it. The food prices are average and the serving is good. Most places around Charlotte have big servings to offer and in a way it is too much food for me but their servings was good for me and i managed to finish the whole things. Must try is their tzatziki sauce. It came with the quesadilla but waas definitely one of the kind. Also tried the pita sandwich which i felt somewhat dry as this is the pita sandwich but the tzatziki sauce came in resume and changed the whole game. This is definitely a must try place, for me i would go for the Greek- Mexican fusion food and also some greek beer. I need to start this review by saying that I am from NY and thus can be very biased when it comes to Greek food since it's so readily available around my home. That being said - this meal just wasn't the best. Service itself was great - my waitress was a sweetheart and helped me choose what to order off their large menu. I went with the bowl option instead of the Greek salad as she assured me that it came with more pita. That was correct! The bowl itself was beautiful - but it was so bland!! Huge tomatoes, lettuce, 20 lbs of pita and the most dry falafel I've ever had. In addition, no dressing and just tzatziki sauce (which was actually very good). Was really looking forward to this place after having seen it multiple times. I love Greek food and was greatly anticipating finding another great local Greek place. I came here on a slow Tuesday and placed an order to go and ended up waiting about 40 minutes for a gyro, beer-battered fries, and a spinach dip appetizer. I was deeply frustrated after having paid $6.25 for the spinach dip and pita bread. As you can see in the picture, the portion sizes are pretty small. Typically, one would expect a small bowl and a sizable portion of pita bread. This was only a small ramekin. I do not intend to complain, for the food was great, but the wait time for a fairly small order was a bit ridiculous. I can see some others have had similar experiences with wait time, but combined with the spinach dip appetizer, I was really disappointed. I have Visited here quite a few times and really enjoy the place. Today I dined in for the first time and had a great experience as usual. The dining area is very small, having only about 10 tables that hold 4-6 people. Little did I know how many hats the lady at the counter wears! She is the waitress, tends to carry-out orders and prepares the baked goods. I had been eyeballing the desserts every time I come in because they look very heavenly. So today I had an Oreo cheesecake cupcake and I wish I hadn't. I am vowing to not try another dessert from here ever again because I don't want to blow up! Yes try it ;-) Even though the place is small, it has good atmosphere. There is also a patio. Prices are pretty steep for what they offer. I usually get falafels, pita and a salad. We where on a time crunch and decided to call in our order, picked it up and sat on the patio which I guess is a bi no no here. Two bites in and a lady comes out saying we need to leave that they have strict rules about this. Points out that I should have read the signs on the door. It would have taken us maybe 10 mins to eat our sandwiches, mind you there was no customers inside or outside at the time. So instead we had to sit in our car and eat in the 96 degree weather. My family and I stopped here while returning home from our trip to Virginia to visit family. We were actually looking for Shane's BBQ but had trouble locating it so we looked this up on Yelp and gave it a try. I love Greek food, other than spicy Thai, Greek at the top of my list for foods I love. In an effort to compare this restaurants to the ones I like in Greenville, SC I ordered the Gyro Salad. They had a 1/2 Salad with Meat for lunch so I gave it a try. Now if I loved carrots, this would have been like the greatest meal ever, but since I generally order a Gyro salad for the Gyro meat and the lettuce, I'll admit I was a bit disappointed with my carrot salad. My wife ordered the Greek Style Baked Chicken & Potatoes, the potatoes were decent, but the chicken was grey, dry and generally unappetizing. I suspect, it had been prepared early and reheated and just didn't stand up well to the reheating. My sons ordered the Pepperoni Pizza on Pita bread and both of them loved theirs.
