    Award Winning X-I Lentil Soup

We've been a couple of times. Both for lunch, but one was carry out. I definitely appreciated the vegan labels on the menu. The fries were obviously had cut and very good! We enjoyed both meals. Was little disappointed in the soup, I think some lemon would have made it better. Overall great place for Lebanese food. We will be back!

An absolute gem. I drove by it some many times and although adventurous I didn't think Lebanese food would be in my wheelhouse. So glad I stopped. This is my second visit and I will definitely be a regular. The food is so alive! Flavorful, fresh, complex, unique but familiar. Think Greek taken up a few notches! Both my visits have been for lunch and I can wait to stop in for dinner service. Perry is so welcoming and can guide you towards what will be an amazing experience.

The food is amazing. Authentic, plentiful and delicious. You can't go wrong with g with any choice. We've had most of the vegan options including Foul Moudames, Falafel, Batta hara, tabouli, spinach pie, kale with crispy chickpeas and lentil soup. Service is super friendly and knowledgeable. A bit pricey, but worth it.

I highly recommend Habibi restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. Our server/ bartender Ray was professional and delightful. We celebrated our adult daughter birthday and it was a perfect spot. Next time I hope the weather allows us to sit outside. The food was excellent. We had the roasted cauliflower, trio dip for starters and lamb shank and grilled steak skewers. Everything was delicious!

Everything about this place was unreal -- the food, the staff, the atmosphere, the price. Absolutely incredible from start to finish!

The food was delicious. It's a bit pricey. The hummus is delicious . I really enjoyed the falafel. I dined alone and felt comfortable to do so. I sat outside bc it was to cold indoors. I had an early reservation which was perfect timing for me.

This is such a great addition to the food scene in Cornelius! The owners are so wonderful; the service and food were incredible! I truly enjoyed myself. We sampled Cilantro Shrimp on our visit, and they were heavenly. Even after the shrimp was gone, we wouldn't let the server take the dish because the sauce was so yummy! The Triple Dip comes with Hummus, Baba Ghanoush & Tzatziki, topped with olive oil, and Served with a side of pita bread. This was good, but not my favorite appetizer. The Hummus was solid and creamy, and the Tzatziki was also pleasing but both weren't "special". None of us liked the Baba Ghanoush, it was too heavily smoked for us. Sambousik Cheese is a deep-fried hand-crafted pastry pocket filled with a blend of white cheeses, onions & parsley. This was far and away my favorite dish we sampled. These homemade delights are filled with feta cheese, but it isn't like the feta we are used to. This was creamy with a lovely pull. We shared 2 different entrees. The first one was a Shawarma Beef Platter consisting of classic Angus beef shawarma oven-broiled in-house with marinades and spices, served with Lebanese rice, hummus, onions, parsley, sumac, pickled turnips & side of pita. I wasn't crazy about the beef, it was a little tough for me. I preferred the chicken. The Shawarma Chicken Platter was more to my liking, but even that left me a little underwhelmed. It's oven-broiled sliced chicken breast in house marinades and spices, served with Lebanese rice, hummus, pickles & a side of pita. Next time I will try the kebab, and there will be a next time! We indulged in dessert as well. We all got baklava. It was amazing! you get two small pieces made with pistachios (this is the Lebanese way) and the other two are made with walnuts (this is the Greek style). A wonderful restaurant, I can't wait to go back to try new dishes!

We had an exceptional dinner at Habibi in Davidson last night - the Habibi and Seafood platters were excellent, and the desert (blanking on the name, but it had the pistachio cotton candy and rose water simple syrup) was absurdly good. In particular, the lamb shank was decadent. We made a reservation ahead of time. Service was great, and the setting-ambiance was simple. We dined in the front covered patio which was perfect given the nice weather.

My son and I stopped into Habibi Lebanon last night for dinner. From the moment that we stepped into the restaurant, we were treated like family. The owner, Perry introduced himself and walked us through the menu options. The trio platter was an amazing start. You can tell by the presentation of the babaganoush, tzatziki and hummus that a lot of work and care was taken into the dishes. I had a Seafood Grill, which was insanely good. Without a doubt, it's the best salmon and scallops that I've ever had. My son had the Mixed Grill Trio which was so much food even he couldn't finish the entire plate (even with me stealing bites). The only word that I can use to describe the baklava and Banoffee Pie is: heavenly. Dessert was the perfect punctuation mark on the night. Do yourself a favor. Do your taste buds a favor. Have dinner at Habibi Lebanon. You will thank yourself.

AVOID THIS LOCATION!…read more My family that resides in Clt started coming to this location because of the proximity to their house, but after this past visit on June 20th, none of us will ever be back again after the absolute awful service! And, as anyone knows, you can have amazing food, but if the people and service are terrible that can ruin any dining experience! We were sat in an almost empty restaurant just after 8pm; the waiter came to take our order and was very engaging initially. We were a party of 6, so we were going to order 4 diff apps prior to the mixed grill which is what we always get. We ordered the hummus, falafel (2 orders because only 6 come per order), baba ganoush, and beef sambousa. We were told they were "out" of the baba ganoush & sambousas cuz they would have to make them and it would take like an hr...this sounded odd cuz umm, don't you make all your food to order?? This immediately put both my stepmom (who is Moroccan) and myself off and we were actually going to leave, but we were introducing my brother's GF to this ethnic food style & him + my dad convinced us to stay, so we just added salad and lentil bean soups). We ordered drinks (the GF & I were the only ones that didn't order sodas; she ordered a pot of Karak tea for her + I to share & I ordered a sparkling water). After 10mins no drinks in sight we were like "ummm?" then at just over 15mins they brought us the apps but no drinks?!? The drinks came separately a few mins later...all except the tea. For $3 on the menu I expected a bottled sparkling water, instead I got flat water from the soda fountain. I told the waiter this and he said he'd try again and if it wasn't "sparkling" then what did I want to drink instead...I said just a filtered water w/lemon. We were missing an order of falafel (were told they only had the one order and would have to wait for the 2nd, so we just canceled it; again whyTF did they not have anything on the menu at 8pm on a Sat!?) and they only brought one basket of pita for the hummus; we asked for a 2nd basket. The lentil soup (my stepmom makes better at home) + salads were mid at best. 20mins later they bring the main course, but we still had not gotten the pot of tea we ordered nor did the guy ever come back w/my "sparkling" or plain water...we'd had enough of this horrible service & I went in search of someone (the place again was empty & I could not find our waiter or anyone anywhere). Finally I see this lady who had attitude (I have a sneaking suspicion she pretended not to understand english when convenient) when I asked WTAF was up w/my water & the tea! Again, another 10mins w/neither showing up at the table...we were also still waiting for the 2nd basket of pita, but it was moot as we'd already begun to eat the main dish...my stepmom went to the lady & spoke to her in arabic and was like "where is her water and where is her tea!?" the lady said she was sorry she didn't know we didn't get them (BS btw) that's when my stepmom asked to speak to the mgr. We also wanted to order Knfa for dessert, so my stepmom told the lady we were ordering 3 now since they were taking forever to get anything to us, and if they didn't bring them when we were done eating, we would not be paying for them. THAT part seemed to get through at least! Halfway (almost an hr at this point) through the meal they finally come w/my water and the pot of Karak tea. At this point we hadn't seen the male waiter who took our order initially; he shows up & is acting huffy (the audacity tbh!) & tries telling me he never said he'd bring a 2nd sparkling or reg water & when both me and my stepmom (cuz she was sitting next to me & heard the exchange called him out) he got all defensive & said "well I guess I misunderstood" so then we are like "why an hr for the tea?" "Wellll, that's how long it takes to make!" I called BS & told him if that was the case he should have told us that expectation when we initially ordered! He then goes "Well I had to go to storage to find it cuz we were out!" K, howTF is that OUR problem!? Just tell us that so we know what to expect!? No apology was made and we were not credited for the tea nor the $3 sparkling water which I never received. Also, received the Knfa (shockingly, right after the meal) but it was served w/o the pistachios it was supposed to come with. When asked for them, we were told they were "out"...because of course they were! Absolutely HORRIBLE staff and service here; the food was good tho, but when u have an experience like that it still leaves a bad taste!
