I love this place. It's also conveniently located. We stopped by here and ate on the patio. The place is very clean. Their sanitation grade is a perfect 100.0! The employees keep up with their tables. They have an ample amount of employees working behind the glass. The employees are nice enough. They keep up when a busy spell comes. The ingredients were all fresh. They give you a nice selection of toppings, dressings, and proteins to choose from. I love their pickled onions. This place has healthier choices than most of the surrounding restaurants. read more

Birksdales Cava is my favorite location. It is my personal experience that tbis location has the best customer service. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always fresh The staff is wm amazing snd emulates the warm and welcoming invite to all customers that extends from their manager Susie, It's always a pleasure to deal with Brayden and Emma...they are 2 of my favorites at this location. They never disappoint you.You're always greeted with a warm and friendly smell, making you feel like you're their favorite customer. My co-workers feel the same way too.We eat here at least three times a week and their friendliness is always the same, warm and inviting. In addition the food is always fresh and seasoned to perfection. Regardless of the volume of traffic. Went on a Friday night close to 9 pm and the ingredients were still fresh! They didn't have brown rice, which is my usual, so I had the saffron rice instead, and it's really good! I would definitely get it again in the future. My server was very nice, and she gave perfect portions whilst not making my bowl too overfilling. Also, I'm not usually a big fan of Cava drinks, as I usually drink water, but I tried the strawberry citrus juice today, and it was soooo good! It was sweet like a strawberry lemonade, just how I like it. Lastly, I usually do takeout but I decided to sit in because I planned to walk around Birkdale for a bit after eating. The dining area was clean, well lit, and the music was a nice vibe. I haven't been to Cava in months, so to go for the first time after not having been in such a long time is making me reconsider whether I should be coming here more frequently lol! Ordered for delivery tonight and the order wasn't correct but we couldn't handle it at the time of delivery bc we had to drive an hr out of town for a soccer match. 2 of our orders were missing items we selected. No dressing was provided on the side for 1 of our bowls. 2 of our bowl orders didn't receive the free/included pita slice. And finally my daughter's salad/rice bowl was filed with rotten lettuce. We had to pick it all out and she was left with hardly anything to eat. 3 meals for $68 and we didn't get one meal that was delivered correctly or with fresh ingredients. Total fail. Second time at Cava in Birkdale and it did not disappoint. I remember my first visit ever to a Cava and I think because my expectations were that it be similar to another popular Mediterranean place in the area, I was disappointed. On its own, Cava is pretty tasty. I love the variety of meats like meatballs, spicy chicken, etc. I tried the Greek chicken pita on my last visit and fell in love! I also like creating my own bowl and think the flavors are really good. Next time I return I'll try something different and I'm sure I'll enjoy it just as much. I like the cucumber mint lime beverage.. apparently so does everyone else because it was just about gone when I visited today. read more

I have recently attended this CAVA location twice. The first time the rice was so intolerable of how stale and not cooked it was that it gave me difficulty to chew. Disappointed at the fact that I had just spent $20 on a bowl of stale rice, I had let it go because it was so close to closing and didn't want to be a pain. Then today, it's a Sunday mid day this same incident occurred again. Although this time I had built up the courage to go inside and asked for the bowl to be remade politely. I felt bad even asking. Then once they said okay all they did was give me a bowl of rice and say this was the best they could do. I'm unbelievably disappointed at this. What was I meant to do? Take the topping out of my bowl that would still have rice on it into my new bowl of rice? Ridiculous. I've frequented this CAVA location for several years now, and the service is pretty good, but I'm disappointed in how the portion sizes keep shrinking and how they've started watering down their drinks (cucumber lime, blueberry lavender). Parking is also a mess, but that's Birkdale's fault, not CAVA's. I think I'll start going to the new Northlake location instead. read more

The CAVA in birkdale is very inconsistent in quality and cleanliness, and I have had my fair share of good and also not so good experiences there. Overall, the wait times in line is usually much longer than other CAVA locations, and they are generally less friendly at this location. The food, of course, is good because it's CAVA but I swear sometimes it tastes a little bit off/proportions are different from other CAVAs. The inside is usually less clean as well (tables and bathrooms) than other locations. Overall, it's good because it's CAVA, but if I had a choice, I would not pick to eat at this location of CAVA- despite it being in the heart of Birkdale. read more

The food was cold, extremely spicy (please let the clients know the level of spice) and the WORST was the service. The lady an attending was non approachable, serving as if it were her last day, just THROWING stuff in our to go bag. For reference it was a heavy set, African American woman with swollen eyes. Gluten free and dairy light. I have been here a couple times and the options are really worth it. Both times I made a custom Bowl and it was perfect. The shkug sauce and garlic sauce worked well together. My husband loved his pita wrap. The salads are good. Options for no dairy or no gluten are possible. So disappointed I LOVE CAVAS and eat at them often but unfortunately the Birkdale location was nothing like all the others. We are creatures of habit once we like something. We get Grains n Greens EVERYTIME! Except this time we took it to go. We get Super greens and lentils, I get Falafel and Husband gets Lamb Meats Balls crazy feta, harissa and tzatziki, one scoop of everything, extra pickles with garlic sauce on side. Delish! Favorite Heathy Food! Our lentils were hard and not even cooked to the point I couldn't really eat them and that's very hard to eat around. They didn't put but such a small amount of greens in the bowls. The bowls were only half full which they are always full and I always bring almost half home. It took longer to find a place to park than it did to order and eat our food. No Valet service available. We asked the server behind the register where they park and she smiled and said "right out front.....it's early when we get here". I love the Cava concept but I will not go to this location again. When I told her I had an allergy, Lucie was attentive to those restrictive menu items. She was so kind and kept a smile on her face. I have been wanting to try Cava for quite some time. Okay food, great idea, bad execution! Food was cold even though the meat is grilled. They ran out of rice and it's honestly sad how skimpy the produce topping portions are. Literally a tablespoon scoop was used for the clumpy chopped toppings. This place is a little too expensive for the salad to not really look like a salad. Also, all of the food they serve is completely exposed, without any lids or tops to keep the food from being contaminated from pest or germs. Exactly why my brother found a hair in his food. I made a family order from your Huntersville NC store. After waiting over an hour I got this: 5 pita breads!!!! Yes 5 pieces of bread. You're not seeing something wrong - 5 pitas bread!! When I called the store directly, they told me basically it's my problem. I order directly from cava not from 3rd party company. The manager, Susane, told me that a new hire did the order ( I guess it make sense to send 5 outs breads ) and there nothing she can do. Either come pick it up from store or make another order and pay double!! The only option she gave me was basically to stay hungry. This is by far, the most ridiculous situation I ever experienced. Not only I got charged, got no food, got 5 pitas breads only, been told that it is my problem and nothing to be done. This is the worse situation I've been in. Manager was super rude and hang up the phone in me. Didn't take any responsibility and told me she can't help although they make the mistake. And all I can do is email. Never gonna get my food. I don't eat here enough. CAVA is a fast casual Mediterranean place, similar to a chipotle style setup. There's a ton of proteins and toppings available and the hardest part is to refrain from just piling on everything they offer. My first wrap was overflowing and kinda too messy to eat because I went overboard, but the second time I came back I edited down my toppings and thoroughly enjoyed it. I need to go back and keep trying different combinations. CAVA will definitely be one of my new go-to places. read more

Ordered for at home delivery and had no regrets, just be mindful that your greens will get a little soggy in transport, normal stuff. I really like their rightrice bowls and chicken. Their sauces are tasty and good to save for a quick at home salad since you get plenty of options, the roasted eggplant dip is amazing and must be my favorite. It's a quick eat that will leave you full for a good while...you'll want to keep going back. Note the fiery broccoli is a little on the salty side if you watch for that. read more
