Convenient location for a quick meal. Food came out quickly and they had a handful of tables to eat. The food was not to our liking but I'm sure other people will enjoy it.

Amazing Greek food! I ordered the chicken pita and it was the best one I've ever had. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. They load the pita up with it too! The pita was soft and the tzatziki was really good. The fries were ok. I did a pick up order so they were a little cold by the time I ate. I also got the baklava and it was good! The top half was a little dry compared to the bottom half of it though.

This is a fantastic place for burgers, fish and Gyros. The onion rings are homemade and are the absolute best we have found in NC. Gyro is one of my favorites foods and this place does it right. Everything about the gyro is on point. Hubby has had the steak sandwich the last 2 times and raves about it.

know I've been before and fairly certain I will be again if I'm in the area so I guess it's at least that good. as an added bonus it's right off the expressway so only one light to negotiate besides the interchange... came in at the back end of lunch as the place was emptying out and asked for a gyro with lemonade, was thinking about something sweet like baklava for after but opted to smooch the cutest of chicks instead. my order came out shortly all wrapped up in foil with a side of fries and looking like the picture so yea for me! Soft warm pita wrapped around a tidy pile of moist slices of lamburger with red onion, diced tomato, and some saucy sauce. long skinny fries on the side could have been hotter and crispier and very well might have been if I didn't take eleven minutes to pose my sandwich just right for photo shoot... (does anyone else have this problem? never get a hot meal no matter how hot it was coming to the table?) maybe next time because there's gonna be a next time just like every time before.

Stopped by for lunch (take out only of course) as it was close to my office. Ordering was simple, I just called and a kind lady took my order. About 20 minutes later my food was ready for pick up. The process was quick and streamlined, and they had hand sanitizer there. I ordered a gyro combo that came with french fries and a piece of baklava for dessert. The gyro was ok, but nothing that special. The fries were good, crispy and hot. I didn't feel like the pita bread was warm enough and it had the taste of the plastic bag it came in. The baklava, while my favorite part of the meal, still could have been better. I can report the size of it was enormous, but it was very juicy and messy. I also thought it had a taste of preservatives and maybe not homemade? I can't be certain of that, but it wasn't the best I've had. I will probably give it another try to see if I visited on an off day since it was so many other fans. Until that time, 3 stars is fair for my visit.

Great Greek Diner This is one of three Big Bite'z in the area. This one is less than a mile from my house. The other two are in Mooresville and Indian Trail, all owned by the same family. My wife, when she is busy and runs out of time, will stop here and pick up dinner for me. It's a typical Greek Diner with Gyro's etc, along with some of the best Lamb dishes on the Lake and a Shrimp and Fish Platter that is great. Had the seafood last week. The food is very good, the portion size is so large that even large eaters like myself have trouble eating it in one setting and the prices are extremely reasonable. Have not had anything from here that I did not like and i would recommend it to anyone. Don't expect much on the outside but what's on the inside of this small storefront is worth it.

I'd consider this place a popular local gem I wish I'd discovered sooner. I now frequent here when in the area. I stumbled on this delicious green spot while in the area for school with a classmate. I needed lunch quick in and a walkable distance. Talk about eating good on a budget. I caught the weekend gyro lunch special. They've got a variety of items on the menu - from burgers to wraps and salads. Check them out for good Greek food!

The decline in food quality and inattentive service have removed this restaurant from our rotation.

The sandwich was spectacular on a wonderful crusty baguette. It wasn't heated up and made fresh about two hours before I came in most likely, so it wasn't soggy as others mentioned. It was wonderful. The flavor was very savory. My grandmother was very pleased with her breakfast sandwich! Big, flaky croissant with fluffy eggs! The coffee was not weak and I enjoyed it. Creamer was offered as a self-serve from a pitcher. It certainly felt better than opening 9 creamer cups between two people. Free water was offered at the end of the line, too. So, no waiting for a refill. I also got two pastries to go-- both were spectacular. Sweet in a savory and memorable way, rather than being over-the-top and masking fake-y ingredients with sugar like many places do. The bakers do a wonderful job. Despite the crowd and line, the employees moved quickly and kindly. Pleasantries were still exchanged and things made-to-order were out in a timely manner. The people here work very hard. It's a hectic job but they do it well and they do it without sacrificing small niceties or helpfulness. The interior was nice, too. Tables were kept clean and there was a nice area for little ones to occupy themselves while parents enjoyed their drink and meal. Books, some plushies, and pretend-play toys were there. No tablets or items that could make them hyper. I very much enjoyed my experience after a hard night and morning. Thank you to everyone that works at Cocotte for showing up and staying kind. With tip, for two people you can expect to spend around $35. Not a terrible price for a great brunch experience with great environment + people. I recommend 100%. Though, maybe come early in the morning while everything is fresh. Others have different experiences late in the day it sounds like.

The restaurant is known for its casual yet upscale ambiance, which definitely came through during our visit.  Where the experience fell a bit short for me was the food. Everything was prepared well and perfectly edible, but nothing really stood out or felt especially memorable. It wasn't bad by any means--just not quite at the same level as the atmosphere and service. I went for the lobster tail ravioli, and it was just a bit too chewy for my taste. I was hoping for a dish that would make me eager to come back, but that didn't happen on this visit. I could, however, come back. If you're looking for a comfortable place to meet friends, enjoy drinks, or have a relaxed night out, it's definitely worth a visit. I'd return for the atmosphere alone and would be interested to try more of the menu in the future.

Fresh Egg - Where Diets Go to Die (Happily)…read more Our group of 4 1/2 (yes, somebody only ate half their plate because self-control showed up late ) walked into Fresh Egg thinking we were just grabbing breakfast... and walked out needing a nap and a moment of silence. Let's talk FOOD. That omelet? Fluffy like it trained at egg boot camp. Stuffed with sausage, ham, bacon, cheese basically the Avengers of breakfast. The home fries were crispy golden cubes of perfection. Not soggy. Not greasy. Just straight-up breakfast excellence. The ham slices were thick and flavorful like they meant business. That biscuit sandwich? Soft, buttery, and holding everything together like a breakfast superhero. And those cheesy grits? Creamy enough to make you emotional. Add melted cheddar and it's basically Southern comfort in a bowl. Portions? Generous. Flavor? Elite. Coffee? Flowing like we were at a caffeine convention. Now let's talk about Jonathan Jonathan delivered AMAZING service. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced, and on top of everything like a breakfast conductor running a delicious orchestra. Drinks stayed filled, food came out hot, and he made sure our whole crew felt taken care of. That kind of service turns a good meal into a great experience. The vibe inside? Busy, lively, happy breakfast energy everywhere. You can tell this is a spot people return to again and again. Final verdict: We came hungry. We left full. We left smiling. And yes... we'll be back. The only reason I'm docking a star is for the side of corn muffins I ordered. They were, unfortunately, a complete letdown. They were hard, dry, and truly tasted like small stones. Even piling on the soft, fresh butter couldn't save them. However, the excellent service and the positive experience with the main dishes and coffee easily outweigh one bad side item. We had a good meal overall, and I would definitely go back again (and just skip the corn muffins next time!).
