I stopped in randomly because it was lunch but I also wanted a beer. I'm so glad I did, my pizza and garlic knots were properly incredible. The pizza has just the right crust I like, a little chewy but not so much that it ruins the pizza. It was cooked perfectly, and tasted amazing. The garlic knots were even better, they provided plenty of sauce which is always a gripe of mine as I love to use the sauce liberally. We also got a gluten free pizza which is great that they have available. It wasn't as amazing as the regular as GF basically never is, but it was also quite good and we were glad it was available since we have a celiac who can't enjoy standard pizza. read more

He's actually a New Yorker (well, Long Island, but close enough), which explains a lot about the authentic pies coming out of the kitchen. We tried the Hawaiian pizza and it was incredible. The sweet juicy pineapple paired perfectly with salty ham, crispy bacon, and gooey cheese on their excellent crust. We added spicy large jalapeños on top, and they delivered a solid, fresh heat that elevated the whole pie -- the sweetness, smokiness from the bacon, and spices heat played off each other beautifully. Every bite was a flavor explosion. The wings were just as outstanding. Super crispy on the outside with that perfect clean snap when you bite in, releasing tender, juicy meat inside. Stopped in for a slice. The slices are very thin, and very large, (almost hard to eat by hand). There was a serious lack of sauce and flavor. Corner Crust's second location opened less than a week ago and my family was eager to try it. The location is fairly small with seating for about 10-15 inside and maybe 4 tables on the patio. Pizza sizes are 14, 16, and 28 inches while slices come from a 28 inch pie. Most speciality slices are around $7.49 and one slice will fill most people. Slices are ona touch thinner than a NY pie but after eating some of the slice with a fork and knife the rest held the toppings with no flop. The crust was chewy but not necessarily crispy. Got to chat with Jay, one of the owners, who was excited to have a crowd and eager to greet you. He mentioned his partner started Basilico's and Concord and the garlic knots should be similar to theirs - I'm eager to try them. They will have beer and wine soon but it's not available yet. Whether it's a slice onsite or a takeout pie Corner Crust is worth a visit. read more

sitting out of doors cooling off from the world record high temps in eastern cornelius enjoying a good mix on the overhead as the sun sets over the peach cobbler factory... came in on an outright bribe: online coupon for garlic knots with a (modest) qualifying purchase which I met with a pizza boat, baklava, and a beer... full pint of red ale in a glass glass demonstrates a high level of trust that I will neither steal nor break it which is pretty cool on them. knots are light and fluffy with enough oregano to balance the garlics; if only there was a way to stuff 'em with grated romano and pancetta without offending the puritans... it would be like pizza shooters. LoL young lady behind the boxes is tossing and stretching and piza-ing the dough by hand. the feta and spinach pizza boat looks kinda boaty when it comes out, so yeah, and with a crispy bottom for easy eating plus the high rolled gunwales keep the toppings from toppling overboard and make good handles for dipping and eating and stuff. inside is a little short on room with limited seating at a handful of tables; this might be an issue when the weather breaks but for today at least al fresco was fine. The Corner Crust has potential, but right now, adjustments need to be made. The pizza is okay--and NO, bigger isn't always better. While giant slices might be eye catching, they are not a substitute for quality. The crust lacks flavor, and the balance of sauce and cheese just isn't there. Before focusing on novelty-slices, they need to go back to the basics. A great pizza doesn't need gimmicks--it just needs to be great. read more

My husband and I went there for lunch. We got a pie half with pepperoni. And the garlic knots. The food was absolutely delicious! The pizza was loaded with cheese and pepperoni not extra just the way it was made. Service was great. Only down side is that they have limited seating. Not good for a place to go in the evening. Pizza looks good I've not tried as of now. I will but as a Door Dash driver I recommend for the restaurant to get some sort of sticker to seal or just tape the box to prevent from tampering. Was excited for something new in the neighborhood, no offense to Crafty or Cool Fish. Overall, the pizza was ok. It's a huge slice that gets people's attention. My daughter got the 10 boneless wings. For $18, they were basically heavily breaded chicken nuggets that you could get at a gas station. The pinwheel was just ok too. Garlic knots were good. The "ambiance" is a bit more grab a slice and go. Not really a place to sit down, enjoy dinner and have a couple "brews". Will we go back? Probably, to just grab a slice from time to time. Stopped in to have dinner. Once inside it is small. A few tables. We ordered our pizzas. Then ordered drinks. No fountain drinks here only bottled. No cups with ice either. Three of us sat at this tiny high top table. They brought our pizzas to us in the take out boxes. No room at the table to try to eat, So we took our food home. They do have outdoor seating with larger tables. The pizza taste was awful. The only thing that was good was the cheesy bread. Paid extra for an extra dipping sauce for the cheezy bread. read more

Second time here and again had a great experience. We ate in both times at "off hours" so not a lot of people or atmosphere. Order time to food ready time was fast. Yes, the slices are huge, but they show all pizza sizes and the slice size clearly on the wall. We were there during a promo for free garlic knots and they did not disappoint. The owners was there and he engaged us in nice conversation. Good selection of local beers on tap were a plus. I do agree with another reviewer, that they should have a "free water" station just like every brewery does. It is a bad business decision to force you to purchase a "bottled water".
