Went in for there lunch specials. The restaurant was spotless and appetizing atmosphere. Sort of a very modern NYC Manhattan style restaurant. Service was fast and the lunch specials were displayed on A frame placards on the Road entrance and on the sidewalk as well in the restaurant. We ordered both the Pizza special 2 slices with a fountain drink included cost $5 and the hot plate of Chicken Parmigiana with penne pasta $10 . Very good prices. Both came in timely manner. My chicken parmigiana was hot just made and generous potions of cutlet and pasta. The Pizza two regular size slices from an 18 inch pie. I would highly recommend the restaurant. Good value

Good pizza! 4.25 Ordered 3 pizzas and a salad for a large group as well as the Pesto and shrimp pasta. Easy call in order and food was ready in 30 on. Saturday night. Pepperoni pizza Half meatball and half sausage pizza Veggie pizza (loved this- included eggplant which is always wonderful on pizza) Ceasar salad- basic salad- dressing in the side Shrimp pesto pasta- large plump shrimp-very good. Lacked in pictures, but food was hot, flavorful. Sauce is robust- good flavor and a decent amount.

My wife and me went there today and it was amazing. Food and service were outstanding. Huge portions. Everyone there was really friendly. It was very busy and our waitress still did a great job.

The margherita pizza here is a winner! The crust is thin and crispy, and the tomato sauce tastes fresh. I wish they were a bit more generous with the basil, but it's still delicious.

So this is a mixed review. We ordered take out for Father's Day. It was ready in about 15 mins so not long at all. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza for my husband and I ordered the pear and Gorgonzola pasta and a side salad with house dressing. The pizza was large and tasted great! The pasta while tasty, was a SMALL portion, 20 pieces total with minimal sauce. The salad had a lot of middle "pieces" that I tore out but dressing was delicious! Both dishes were $28 each. For the price, we would definitely order the pizza again, but not the pasta! I would get the pasta if it was part of the $10 lunch special, but not sure how big the portion would be if the dinner portion was the small.

We were searching for some Italian food on a random Sunday and we're out this way so I discovered this restaurant, and I am so glad I did! The chicken Parmesan was absolutely delicious!!! I would definitely love to go back just for that! The portions are a great size, I am with chicken and pasta, no salad. 5/5. I did have to ask for bread, but it was worth the wait! The lasagna was also a 4.5/5. I personally didn't love the pizza crust, so I wouldn't go back for pizza. It was hard, not chewy at all, how I like it unless it's super thin crust. Service was great, our server was super sweet. We will be back!

As of 5pm last Friday, we entered phase 2 of the Covid-19 redrawal from the lockdown. Still Susan does not want to go any sit down restaurant even if they are following precautions and social distances. We ordered take out again for 1:15 pm after Susan got to watch Judge Judy. Some of us have different priorities but go with the flow. Placed our order a little after 12 noon. Susan want the Sausage and Peppers Roll with Mozzarella Sticks and I chose the Meat Lover Lasagna. Arrived promptly at 1:15 and walked in to pay and still had to wait. Susan's Sausage and Pepper Roll was just going into the oven but no big deal. Payed for lunch and picked it us and made one more stop on the way home. We stopped at Centre Presbyterian Church Cemetery so that I could pay respects to some of my ancestors who served in the Revolution War. Got home and the food was still pipping hot. Ate on the balcony overlooking the lake. Portion sizes are huge and we had enough left over for another meal. Susan really enjoyed her Sausage and Pepper Roll. We shared an order of 6 mozzarella sticks. Consistency was bland and more like cardboard and the marinara dipping sauce did not even have the zesty freshness of tomatoes. The Meat Lovers Lasagna was good but looking at the packaging, I would hazard a guess that it came from a food service company like Sysco and just popped into the oven. Even so, it was still good. Looking forward to them being open with a full menu.

Food Truck Village…read more I hit the back button and it did that thing where it deleted whatever it wanted and it was going to be Trick Village. Would that have driven more or less business? As it stands right now, Food Truck Village is a cool place. It has the potential to be a future tourist destination. Take out the car wash and add a Central Focus--an oversized ice cream truck with universal music. Rework the parking and build walkways through the village and you have yourself a tourist destination. Make sure there are separate paths to each food truck so one truck doesn't get all the first foot traffic. Add a colorful sign with a simple map. All food trucks would benefit immensely. For Mike's Pizza, very good pizza and the owner is friendly. It always feels good to support privately-owned shops. The six-slice pizza is $14 before tax and it takes a while but it's fresh and worth the wait. Definitely recommended. I didn't know where to park since there are no lines and my son (also shown in the pictures) told me I couldn't just park anywhere. Nobody else there so no big deal. You can do the same, but I don't recommend parking in the car wash or in the tent. We shall return to Food Truck Village! Perhaps they can add one more truck for now: Big Truck from Coal Chamber.

It's crispy, charred, and chewy - that's like the trinity of pizza crust in my opinion. 5 stars hands down, I can't believe I haven't ordered here before. Sometimes it's hit or miss on sausage and this one is a complete hit. Give this truck your business, if we're lucky enough it'll turn into a permanent pizza storefront here in Cornelius someday. We need it!

Veni Vidi Vici…read more Corner Crust in Cornelius absolutely conquered our pizza night. If you're near Lake Norman, Corner Crust in Cornelius, NC is the real deal. This spot is putting out seriously great New York-style pizza and wings. We even caught the owner -- one serious pizza aficionado. He's actually a New Yorker (well, Long Island, but close enough), which explains a lot about the authentic pies coming out of the kitchen. We tried the Hawaiian pizza and it was incredible. The sweet juicy pineapple paired perfectly with salty ham, crispy bacon, and gooey cheese on their excellent crust. We added spicy large jalapeños on top, and they delivered a solid, fresh heat that elevated the whole pie -- the sweetness, smokiness from the bacon, and spices heat played off each other beautifully. Every bite was a flavor explosion. The wings were just as outstanding. Super crispy on the outside with that perfect clean snap when you bite in, releasing tender, juicy meat inside. Packed with flavor and cooked exactly right. Easily some of the best wings in the Lake Norman area, yeah I went there........The owner told me his secret recipe and technique, but I have been sworn to secrecy..... I can say that he buys his wings free range, no steroids and you can tell the difference in every bite. Coming in on the high side at $1.80is per wing, but I ask you this - how much would you pay for perfection? Local craft beer, yes please. You can use the Untapped App to check out his selection of the finest local craft beers on tap. Great portions, giant slices, laid-back vibe, and friendly service rounded out a fantastic meal. Whether you're going classic or adventurous with the Hawaiian (highly recommend adding bacon and jalapeños), Corner Crust delivers. We'll definitely be back soon! I was seated facing the kitchen in a booth. I just loved the decor with the bricks, open kitchen, and warehouse ceiling. The wood, beams and bricks were reclaimed materials from Manhattan, adds old world charm. The Easter decorations were a nice touch. My amazing waitress created me a mocktail with ginger beer and cranberry. It was colorful and wonderful. It had some tang to it. The Italian restaurant has Neopolitan pizzas and Italian dishes. It was so hard deciding what to select from the menu. If I hadn't just had shrimp, the shrimp scampi would have been what I ordered. Then there was a lasagna with a bechamel sauce I really wanted. But the pizza won out. My waitress talked me into the salad I was debating, too. The salad was Dolce Crostata. It has mixed lettuce, goat cheese, pancetta, candied pecans and golden raisins. I like the salads with fruit, and this one was wonderful. Novanta means 90 in Italian, which is the 90 seconds it takes to cook the pizza. It goes into the 900-degree Italian wood-fired oven. The pizza was a true Neapolitan with the soft, airy crust and a little bit of char on it. It tasted as good as it looked. I wanted a second pizza after my first slice, but I had trouble finishing the first and had to take half of the salad to go. I did love every bite of the margherita pizza and salad. If I lived closer, I'd eat here weekly as the food is that good. This is a hidden gem.

This is a large restaurant with a great open layout, which makes it perfect for big groups and families. The outdoor seating area is especially nice, with comfortable chairs and a relaxed atmosphere where people can sit and enjoy themselves without feeling rushed. Inside, the place has a modern warehouse-style feel with brick, wood, and open kitchen views. You can actually see the pizza ovens working, which is always a good sign. The dining room has energy without feeling chaotic, and the sanitation rating posted up front was a solid A (96.0), which always gives you a little extra peace of mind. Our server Jessica was very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We started with the meatballs and burrata crostini. I couldn't eat the burrata because of the dairy, but the meatballs were outstanding--very meaty, rich flavor and a terrific tomato sauce. A great start to the meal. My wife had the house salad, which looked very fresh. Mixed greens, tomatoes, and peas--simple but well done. She skipped the onions, which they handled without any issue. For the main course, she ordered the Marinara pizza, and it was excellent. The sauce had great flavor and the pizza had that classic Neapolitan look--thin center, charred edges, and simple ingredients done right. She enjoyed the whole thing. I had the calzone and paired it with a local beer, "What He's Having" IPA from Wooden Robot Brewing in Charlotte, which was a great choice. The calzone itself tasted very good, but it was a little uneven on the filling. I ordered double pepperoni, and one side had most of it while the other side had very little. That said, the crust and flavor were still very enjoyable. Overall, everything was very good. The atmosphere is lively, the food is flavorful, and it's a great spot if you're dining with a group or family. Bottom line: Novanta is a fun, energetic Italian spot with solid Neapolitan-style pizza, a welcoming environment, and good service. Definitely worth a visit.
