    Spaghetti with Mariana

Phenomenal! We got take out from here & let me tell you it did not disappoint. My husband devoured the Chicken Bruschetta instantly. The SIDE goat cheese strawberry salad was a generous portion & was amazing. I should of gotten the SMALL spaghetti with Mariana instead of the large because it was HUGE! I will be eating on this all week! 10/10 could not recommend more. We will definitely be back.

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and was craving the viral best Caesar salad wrap in Charlotte! However, the craving hit me on a Sunday, when the wrap is only available lunch time thru Saturday. That don't stop us for getting our Caesar fix! We had the kale Caesar with breaded chicken (the crunchy chicken and crunchy croutons were spot on!), order of meatballs (I'm a sucker for a dollop of ricotta) and the fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken. Definitely a Sunday lunch well spent on their patio. We will definitely be bringing the family back.

My wife and I came here for lunch since we wanted to tey a new spot. She heard about these massive mozzarella sticks so we tried that. 8t was pretty good, not as much flavor as I was expecting, but the marinara was really good. The pizza was a bit of a let down as it was fairly bland, I was expecting more flavor but it just didn't deliver. My wife enjoyed her mixed drink and I thought the service was really good and the place was clean. 8d go back and and try something new, but would like to see some more robust flavors.

Our First dine in experience! I did take out here a while ago. But it was one of those days that I skipped a review in my experience since I was just hangry. Lol. I've been meaning to bring the husband here for dinner. So we made plans to dine here Friday night. I made reservations to be safe. Since I saw when I picked up the food that one time. It was packed! I was surprised when we went to check in with the host that it wasn't too crowded and the bar was somewhat empty. So we just sat at the bar. Which was great. We got a great view of the bar and the restaurant set up. Our bartender was great and friendly. I had a glass of wine and my husband had Miller lite. .We started with the rice ball. And wow it was big! A prefect start to dinner. I had the flavorful pesto pasta and I added a meatball. Super yum! I had to take half of it home. My husband loves fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. He was impressed! He finished it all! Also it was nice that the pasta came with a side. I chose a side salad. Super fresh! And the prefect size l! My husband would have liked more of their Caesar dressing for his salad but overall it was good. They do have home made desserts here if that's your thing. I'm the kind of person who will plan my dessert before I pick the entree. So of course I was going to try their delicious tiramisu! Can't go wrong with that Oh and i had to try their espresso martini. It was okay.

I've been hearing good things about this restaurant so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered the lasagna (only available on Sundays) and it came with a side so I chose the caprese salad. Both dishes were good. Everyone raves about the chicken Caesar wrap (only available during lunch) so I might need to make another trip to give that a try. The restaurant has a neighborhood feel about it. Plenty of parking.

Basilico Italiano is everything you want in a classic Italian spot--warm, inviting, and absolutely delicious! I am a huge fan of the blackout curtains & the dim dining room lighting. I tried the baked ziti and the chicken parm, and both were outstanding. The baked ziti came out hot, smothered in rich marinara and plenty of gooey melted cheese. The pasta was cooked tender but not overdone--and the sauce had that homemade flavor you can't fake. It's hearty, cheesy, and full of comfort in every bite. The chicken parmesan was just as impressive. The chicken cutlet was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and topped with the perfect balance of sauce and cheese. The portion was generous and satisfying, especially with the side of pasta. Our waitress was Zoe. She was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. If you're craving authentic Italian comfort food, Basilico Italiano will save the day!

Made reservations a couple hours before visiting Basilico on a recent Friday night. They were very busy, I will note, and I was thankful for the rez. However, I wish that our table was not at the very front of the restaurant right in front of the host/hostess stand because the area surrounding the host stand is practically nonexistent so any waiting customers are basically standing at your table. This friday night they had a live performer singing and playing guitar so if that's not your thing, avoid Friday nights. We placed a calamari order for our appetizer but I don't recommend you doing so. The calamari was so chewy and barely any seasoning detected on the batter. The complementary garlic knots were welcome but they barely had any garlic seasoning! I ordered the bruschetta chicken - which does not come with any noodles or sides - and my bf ordered the chicken piccata. He was disappointed that the piccata was so soupy but said it was edible. My bruschetta chicken was delicious and I didn't even miss the noodles. They should add some balsamic glaze to really set it off.

I came here for the first time on a Sunday in May trying to get their Caesar Chicken Wrap but found out they only serve it at lunch Tuesday-Saturday. I came back that Tuesday after placing and order over the phone. Their parking lot no matter what day of the week is always jam packed. But when I went in to get my order there literally was no one in there. The hostess said it's due to the doctor's offices in the same shopping center. The wrap was the delicious but the fries didn't hold up well for me. The house-made Caesar is so good and doesn't contain eggs. I went back a month later to get it again. This time I placed it online & got to see the many side options they have and joined their rewards program. I've tried twice since then to get them again, once for online order (1hr wait) and another for a reservation (Saturday 2 hour wait) but haven't had them since because the Wraps went viral. Hopefully I can get it again soon!

Can confirm that this is the best chicken Caesar salad wrap in the city! OMG. Stuffed with grilled chicken, creamy Caesar salad and croutons inside for an extra crunch. *** only available at lunchtime and place to go order... As they are very busy from these blowing up on social media** Service was amazing from the girls working the front :)

The chicken Caesar salad wrap hype is VERY real. One of the best I've ever had and the blackened chicken will be my new go to. First time having food from here and will 100% be going to dine in soon. Ambiance perspective it's a full blown restaurant which I hadn't realized - looks like a homey classic type of spot. Friendly service and great food.

Had a lovely experience here with my mom for lunch. The service was a bit slow, but very friendly and maybe a bit understaffed. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. Started with garlic knots and a Caesar salad. So good. The sauce with the knots was fresh and the Caesar dressing was really good. For mains I got the chicken Caesar wrap (I think only available for lunch) and my mom got the chicken piccata. Both were very good! This is a casual restaurant for some solid, but not amazing, classic American Italian food. It hit the spot!

After hearing all the rave, we decided to try Basilico on a Sunday. We heard that's the only day lasagna is served, so it's only right we go then. We were seated quickly, a dim atmosphere, great customer service from the time we arrived until we left. Started off with a fresh basket of garlic knots, they lacked flavor and tasted bland. Then ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, they were fresh, flavorful and crispy. The marinara sauce complimented them well. Our side salads were fresh, and I opted for ranch dressing instead of Italian. Lasagna for the main entree, it was a big portion and piping hot. My overall experience was a good one, I would only suggest that the food be seasoned a little more to avoid the blandness. I will definitely be back to try again. Can't forget my delicious glass of peach moscato!

Our eldest son was visiting from out of town, and it is our yearly tradition to have a nice dinner out all together. We were seated at a table in the back corner, which was very private, but quite dark. There is no lights directly over the table, so it made it difficult to read menus. We had bread and dipping oil brought out and drink orders were taken. We ordered salads and soups, which were all very good and tasty. After our entrees order was taken, we waited a long time for our meals, nearly an hour. While I understand it is a Saturday night, and the dining room was full, orders probably should not take that long. A server brought out more bread, and we munched on more bread for another bit before meals finally arrived. Everything looked great, Katarina's Beef and peppers, Melanzane, chicken franchese, gnocchi travisano, and pepper 1/2 chicken. All delicious. The only complaint was there was not much broccoli rabe on the pepper chicken dish. Mostly the chicken with a few potatoes and a couple pieces of broccoli rabe underneath. The chicken was good, but I probably wouldn't order it again. A few of us at the table only ordered water, and someone only came around once to refill glasses. One of us did order alcohol, but water was not replenished regularly. We had empty glasses most times. Due to the long wait for meals, we skipped dessert. We may decide not to dine here on a Saturday night again. Just my opinion though, some may like the long waits in between courses, but it was a little more than I expected. Gianni's is a hot spot, and they definitely have a great menu and good service. Just a little disappointed with the long wait for entrees.

They do not take reservations, so you have to get there to get on list. Today happened to be a perfect Tuesday evening to go; there was no wait. The waitress wasted no time to come over and share all the appetizer and main course specials. She did a great job explaining the dishes and answering any concerns. If she wasnt sure, she made sure to get clarification with any substitutions. Everything we had was very good. Each item was either fresh or well seasoned. After an amazing dinner, we were offered the dessert menu. We all were full but the waitress reminded us that we would get a complimentary teramisu or cannoli for my aunts birthday. We picked the tiramisu. Which was amazing. The ambiance is very warm with low-light dining. Will definitely be returning for special occasions or if company comes to town. See you again Antico

I shared the pesto cappelini with my child-it was not very good, we gave the pesto pasta a 1.5/5 Neither of us had much interest in eating more. My partner had the chicken cacciatore 3/5 rating. This was more palatable however, my husband says it's definitely not one of the best that he's had.. I server was nice and attentive when getting us the drinks, however, they did not check on the food quality once. But towards the end of the meal as my son and I were not touching our food, they asked us if we wanted boxes to go - it was quite obvious. They were trying to do this to free up the table. However, my partner was still working on their dish As we left the restaurant, it was surprising the line of people waiting outside for a table, I hope they had a better experience. The ambience inside felt OK, but it was nothing extraordinary, however, the weight staff all had professional looking uniform.
