After Christmas, my daughter, her boyfriend, and I headed out to do some antiquing to find some bargains, and we needed to fuel up before we went. I'd had Benny DaCorsa recommended to me by several friends, so today was the day! The place is small inside, but it has ample parking. There are 2 larger tables inside, along with a bar that wraps around the perimeter with seating, but if the weather is nice, take your slice outside to the picnic tables. Also, they don't have fountain drinks (which to me are gross anyway), but their cooler is stocked with tons of flavors you don't see every day. I grabbed the strawberry lemonade, and it was yummy! Our slices were so big, we had to have 2 plates to carry them out on. I got pepperoni and mushrooms, which was delicious. I also got extra marinara sauce for dipping my crust into. This is served cold, but is very flavorful. One slice was more than enough for me, but my daughter's boyfriend ate 2. Honestly, if it is your first time there, start with 1 slice, they are larger than you think! You can also buy whole pies, for which I thought the price was insane when I looked at it online. I saw 2 ladies pick up 3 of them (party?), and I can only imagine what a conversation piece those made! If you are in Concord, stop by. Nothing like a good local spot with oversized pizza slices and pies! The staff were friendly and the slices came out quickly. I enjoyed a traditional slice of pepperoni! The restaurant does have some high too seating and there are a few tables outdoors if you'd like to stay in. read more

These slices are REALLY big for a GREAT price. They change their menu I think seasonally or monthly. Also have options you can add to your slices. The service was good. I would look up their menu before going if you don't eat pork or beef because then your options might be limited on what to get in your pizza. Have high chairs and look chairs for eating in. Also believe they had outdoor seating but it was too cold to even sit out there. read more

I going to start with. This place has the worst pizza in Concord. pizza sauce was bitter and the dough was terrible still raw in some place. I spent 47 dollars on trash. Take my advice it's not worth the money you are going to spend.It was my first time going there and last. never going back again for over priced trash food could have gotten better pizza from the freezer section at the grocery store just my opinion. read more

The guys behind the order counter were very friendly. I went to order a whole pizza and luckily they warned me of the size. They sell by the slice so we each got one. The slice was tasty and plenty in size. They have a great choice of drinks in the serve yourself cooler. The shop itself is small and offers only hightop seating options inside. They have plenty of outdoor seating available (it was cold and rainy the day we visited). The employees were friendly and chill. The venue has seating inside with outside seating for their human and furry customers with water bowls available outside. The pizza slices are HUGE, they take two paper plates to hold the slice. The crust was nice and airy, while the slice is filling. I had the specialty pizza, the Wild Bill, which was buffalo chicken and ranch pizza. My wife got the mushroom pizza and was delicious. Pizza Friday is a thing in my house so we decided to change it up and try this cute pizzeria in Downtown Concord. What we didn't know is just how massive this pizza would be. (See below picture of my husband trying to fit in the car) Even though the pizza was massive and could feed 20 people, we enjoyed every slice! The crust was crispy yet flavorful. I'm a big big fan of Benny's other locations so it was only a matter of time before I found myself at their new location in Concord. We rode in on a Friday night for a date night and, just like every other location, they were busy! We each got two slices, one of their special of the week and then I got sausage while my boyfriend got pepperoni. The slices are of course HUGE and after a bit of a wait they came out piping HOT. Definitely practice your patience and it will be worth it! I also appreciated for, how small the place was, they have a huge drink selection in their fridges. The workers there are absolutely horrible. Just had the worst experience. We walked in and I walked in with my puppy and on the sign it says "service animals welcome" and they have a dog bowl for animals outside. I walk in and we are waiting for them to get ready to order and I go ahead with my order because he just blankly stared at us and he interrupted me and says "give me a second" in the most rudest tone. I walked away to cool down and he told me to get out because I can't have dogs in there. Mind you, I've had my dogs inside this restaurant on several previous occasions with workers petting my pets. We've tried various combinations, specials, basic pepperoni, spinach and ricotta etc. and have yet to be disappointed! The crust is the perfect ny style thickness. The slices are massive and they don't skimp on the toppings. Service is always good and the atmosphere is pretty chill. Summertime is best with the outside seating and a cold beer. I found this Benny's while sitting in a whole other different Benny's... this one's a little closer to home and a short drive from the track on a wet and slightly tornadoey Monday evening when I really needed to be anywhere other than at home because, well, you know... tornadoes kinda a huge lot for a little pizza joint but to be fair they're 28" pizzas, and if that ever becomes my biggest concern in life then I'm gold. lots of bench space available with some pergolation to break up the midday sun. if you've been you'll know: choice of six pizzas, coolers full of beverages, plus a side board for shake, but alas there is no spigot for cool clean water :-( tables are woodier than other locations but still a good mix of high and low seating with napkin dispensers in easy reach. not usually a fan of artichokes on my plate but this has been a week full of surprises and the Santa Maria was actually pretty okay until I put too much cheese on it. no word yet on the chicken thing but it looked interesting enough. like all Benny's the overhead is classic progressive rock and some diggy late century top 40 hipster under-grunge danceables - Talking Heads, INXS, Duran-Squared, etc. - to aid digestion and encourage people to go home or maybe bowling. read more

This place is awesome. The pizza is delicious and it's also just plain fun to look down at a gigantic slice of happiness. They have fun monthly specials. They are consistently quick and accurate, so it's an easy place to grab something quick without getting bogged down by waiting for your order to be ready. If you're not in a rush, they have a great patio to hang out on. This was a true win for downtown Concord and we hope they are there for a long time! read more

This is insanity!!! The owner of this franchise practices predatory towing with a local towing company. My friend was meeting a friend at Benny Dacorsa's Pizza in downtown Concord, NC, after his night shift. He got there about 10:45 parked in the parking lot, walked up to the door, but it was locked. He could see people inside, knocked but they ignored him. He thought they opened at 10:30am. When he saw the sign on the door that said they open at 11:00am, he sat down at the picnic table by the door and waited. At 11:00am the owner unlocked the door, my friend entered along with his friend who had just arrived. They ordered their pizza, paid for it and waited. While they waited the friend of my friend, said isn't that your car being towed. Long story short the owner of Benny Dacorsa's had called the towing service because my friend had parked in the restaurant's parking lot before they opened at 11:00am. The owner of Dacorsa's knew who the car belonged to, he knew the owner of the car was sitting at his picnic table waiting for him to open and he still called the tow truck. Then he let my friend order and pay for a pizza while his car was being towed behind his back. This is insane! An argument ensued, and the owner of Benny Dacorsa's Pizza admitted he called the wrecker, because he had a sign posted no parking until 11am. Long story short my friend had to go down to the tow yard and pay $245 to get his car back. Either this Benny Dacorsa's Pizza's owner is an absolute idiot, or he is getting a large chunk of that $245. Regardless I will never eat at Benny Dacorsa's Pizza in downtown Concord, NC. read more

So, tonight we went there at 9:45 with the sign on "OPEN" and their website says they are open until 11:00 PM. They said they were out of pizza at 9:45 and were putting the stools up on the tables.
