We just moved to the area and tried Emricci's partly because we received a flyer in the mail. I'm so glad we did! We got a Hawaiian pizza and a build-your-own creation. The crust was chewy and flavorful; a nice balance between thick and thin, and the toppings were plentiful and tasted fresh. The employees I dealt with were friendly, too. We will be back! read more

We have the pasta and pizza regularly (once a week) and I find both very delicious! I have never had a bad employee interaction, or anything close to it. Not saying it hasn't happened to someone else, but I have always been very happy with the food & service. read more

The reason for the 1 star, no matter how good the food may be all it takes is one bad employee to ruin your meal. From the first encounter on the phone until pick up. I have eaten here several times and noticed how service is becoming an issue, but this one was the one that broke the camels back. Usually this place has decent pizza. Tonight we ordered a veggie pizza with meatballs & sausage. Though the meat was cooked with the crust the veggies seemed like an afterthought and were tossed on after. When I called the guy who answered was not surprised and said veggies should be cooked with the dough. They did not offer to refund my money. The last delivery was messed up also as there was so much cheese and hardly any veggies - guess when you order an hour before they close they don't want to cut anything else and hide it with extra, extra, extra cheese, that was not requested. I liked this place but now??? Guess we'll be going elsewhere Since my last review we received a gift card to rectify the bad experience. We ordered delivery tonight and it was perfect! I'm not going to be negative on my review. I'm just going to say for me I didn't really care for the pizza, nor for the garlic knots that were drowning in butter. A family member had the lasagna took three bites and did the , oh it's OK, I'll just take it home -when the reality is she didn't care for it. I do want to mention that the crew was busy but they really need to keep their hair tied back -there was one individual who had extremely long blonde hair and it was just flying around, that's just not very sanitary. read more

Every pizza I've ever had from here has been pretty good except one. That one had too much sauce on it. For my pallet, I can handle overcooked and lack of adequate toppings, but I can't handle too much sauce. It tasted raw/cold. That was 3 months ago. I haven't returned. I agree food and service are not as good as it was. The last really good pizza I had there was 2022. Their veggie pizza use to be good had slices of veggies now its little chopped ones. I would love to have one like they use to make. read more

Apparently this location used to be Anzi's, but it has been Emricci for close to a year now. They specialize in pizza and Italian food, and the owner has apparently won some pretty big awards for the pizza. Needless to say i was quite excited to try it out. Since it was lunch time, a calzone sounded good. I went with the Original Italian Meats that included pepperoni, ham, and Genoa salami, along with mozzarella and ricotta cheese. It came with a side of their homemade marinara sauce for dipping. The calzone itself was quite large, and it was dang good, with an emphasis on the dang. The crust alone surrounding the filling was spectacular and had a perfect texture and flavor. They make dough daily in the restaurant, and it tastes super fresh. The meats were super high quality, as was the cheese, and the sauce was spectacular, something my Italian snobbery is reticent to say most of the time. It was easily one of the best calzones I have had in awhile. We both decided to try a cannoli for dessert, and it was also extremely well done. The shell had a nice crisp and flavor, and the filling was rich and smooth like it is supposed to be. Color me surprised to have a well done cannoli in rural NC, but this was legit. The prices are extremely reasonable, and combined with the quality and quantity provide amazing value. The service is simple, as you order at the front, seat yourself, and wait for your food, but it was super friendly, and the cashier kept checking in to ensure we were doing fine. And did I mention the food rocked? Emricci is a great find, and I had to be sure it was added to Yelp so others could more easily find it too. We moved to Locust back in August of 2019. Emricci is one of 2 ACTUAL pizza places in town. Their pizza is GREAT! Crust is nice and crisp, the sauce is great, toppings are always fantastic. We order it at least once a month. The only downside is that literally EVERY time we eat there, my wife and I get unspeakable diarrhea for the next 24 hours. It is still delicious, and we have no intentions of stopping our patronage. I am sitting here, about to run to the bathroom, and still give it 4 out of 5 Stars. Worth it. read more

Staff seems to have a problem undestanding what was ordered. The pizza was not that good, and was not worth what they charged. You can tell that the staff does not know how to make a good pizza. I think it's a bad sign when Pizza Hut has better pizza. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. read more

Ordered Large pizza (4 toppings), 1 fountain drink & 1 water, had at least a 30 minute wait on 4/6/23 at 6:12pm. Pizza was very good BUT.......I ordered black olives and got green peppers. Asked for jalapenos on the side, they forgot I had to go to counter to get them. Only got 1 plate, I had to go to counter to get one. And about the plates; very cheap paper plates. Would it hurt to have "real" plates and how about some silverware please! Very NOISY in the kitchen, lots of yelling back-and-forth between workers. And a lot of excessive banging around of pots and pans. Very disappointed, not the experience I was hoping for. Especially for the price I paid. Unsure if we will return. read more

A very good pie!!!! A little pricey do to the fact that they can up charge because they have no competition in Stanfield county. Their meats are very good, also they have these pepperdew peppers that are life changing!!!! If they brought their price down I would've gave them five stars. Also I can't give a pizza 5 stars that doesn't have a real pizza oven!!! They have one that they put through and it come out the other end when it's done. Went there to grab a slice based on all the 5 star reviews. Pizza was good, not great. But considering it's in Locust I was happy with the quality. That said, it was very expensive for a slice. $3.20 for one topping slice and $4.20 for a specialty slice. Cost me $9 for two one topping slices and a soda. read more

We've eaten here several times and it's been hit or miss. The food is definitely overpriced, which I'd be fine with if it was good. But the pizza was delivered cold, with way too much cheese and just overall not worth the hefty price tag. The mozzarella sticks are almost 8 bucks and they are terrible!
