Antonio's is one my families pizza stop. Conveniently located in the Walmart shopping center, Concord. The pizza is always good. I like that it's the same every time you go there. They have a full menu. I also get the chicken parmesan sub which is tasty. You can eat inside or outside at the table (assuming it hasn't been taken). Now this is amazing pizza!!! As a discerning NY'er who has been searching far and wide for excellent pizza, I tried this place after picking up some things at Walmart. I can't tolerate too much tomato sauce so I ordered a small Bianca, and another pie (16" I think), half pepperoni. The gentleman who helped me was so nice and actually recommended I order a pie when I almost ordered four slices (which would have actually been more expensive and less slices). I was so grateful for his help and walked out with two fresh pies. When I got home I couldn't even wait to take my light jacket off to eat one of the white slices, it was DELICIOUS!!! We initially set out to go to Capriccio, but it wasn't open today. I had been scrolling through Yelp and stumbled across Antonio's, so that became our destination as soon as we realized there would be no Capriccio for us today. We got to Antonio's and ordered fried ravioli and antipasto for our appetizers. I got the meatball calzone and my boyfriend got two slices of pepperoni pizza and a pepperoni and meatball calzone. We ordered at the counter and then took a seat and waited for them to bring it out to us. They were very accommodating with the order in which our food came out. The ambiance is a simple and unassuming shop with a counter to order and tables to seat yourself. They play Phil Collins and other soft rock hits. The customers are all chill and welcoming, talking to each other across the tables. The food is solid. I would definitely come back for another calzone. I appreciate how chill this atmosphere is when compared to Capriccio. I did not order the cannoli, but you best believe I stared at it longingly. I love popping in here to grab a slice to go. They are quick and polite with great value lunch specials. Pizza is delicious and freshly made. The staff is also awesome at cutting kids slices in half, no questions asked, to make it easier for kids to eat. Often when I go here, it's around the staff's lunch time. It's heartwarming to see a business give their employees a seat at the table to enjoy their lunch in peace. The owner or manager is often seen taking orders while his employees take their break. This business really cares about their employees which is rare to see these days and such a blessing to our community. They use to have the best Stromboli, but the last time we ordered one, they changed the way they make them. They use chopped ham instead of sliced ham and the put so much Parmesan cheese in the top it ruins the taste of the Stromboli when they didn't use to put any on it. Looks like we'll need to find another pizza shop to order from. Not sure why they get the need to change. read more

I was absolutely floored by how good the pizza was as well as the affordable pricing. I guess frequenting a place that has a line waiting outside to get in actually is a good idea. Their meatballs were outstanding. Filled with flavor and just the right combination of oregano and garlic to really make a difference. When people say NY Pizza they sometimes mean pizza that comes with a requisite amount of grease on the bottom of the box and on the pizza itself. As I finished placing a pickup order for a large pizza, the person taking the call said it would be ready in 45 minutes. I questioned that long time and she repeated 45 minutes. When I hung up and told my wife it would be 45 minutes she said call them back which I did. Again the answer was 45 minutes. I arrived to pickup the pizza 30 minutes after the call. It was sitting on the sales counter and as soon as I picked it up I knew it was cold. Unfortunately, I didn't open the box or I would have seen it was burned to a dark brown color on top and black on the bottom. I walked into the establishment for the first time because I wanted a quick snack the pizza by the slice sign was on so I decided I would get a slice. When I walked in two women were getting their order taken by an employee he then completed their order and walked away leaving me at the desk for 5 min he only then came back because the phone rang he answered the phone and proceeded to put in his online orders his reason was because if I don't they will start calling me. Another employee came up front to get something stopped her asked her to take me order then said never mind when she started too. Throughout all of this I never said anything just to wait to see how long after 15 of walking and a line starting to form he asked what can I do for you I said I would like a slice and a drink he said "we're too busy can't do slices" THEN WHY IS THE SIGN ON.
